Having trouble with sound when streaming videos on Netflix and Hulu

When I watch videos on Hulu or Netflix my audio is very bad (as well as my video). It stops and starts and has a horrible robotic background sound, like a speaker is blown (though I know that's not the case because the sound is the same through my TV when connected via HDMI cord). My audio and video files are all up to date... What can I do??

Have you checked for viruses and malware? Malicious Software Removal Tool
You can try this step to try and find and repair corrupt files.
Go to the command prompt and right click and run as administrator
Type sfc /scannow and press enter.
You mentioned that it is generating a lot of heat so here is a link to Reducing heat inside the PC to prevent overheating
If the issue remains, you can try installing the original driver using the recovery manager

The next suggestion would be to do a full recovery back to factory.

During the recovery there is an option to backup your personal files to prevent data loss. If you have not done one recently I suggest you do one now.

Once this step has been completed, please run the HP support assistant to obtain any HP updates.

Having trouble with left align in all versions of internet explorer

I created my pages in Dreamweaver and uploaded them to my university's server. Because we have a content management system and my boss didn't like the layout that we are able to use, I had to create separate html pages and place them into the CMS using iframes. Each individual page has a banner on the top, and underneath that, a menu on the left side and the main body text on the right. In Chrome, Safari, and Firefox, the menu takes up the appropriate amount of space (about 250 px) and then the body text is left aligned about 10 px to the right of the menu. However, when I open the same page internet explorer, there is a large gap between the menu and the text. I have tried it within the iframes and without and both have this problem. I don't use tables for layouts. You have more control with CSS.

There are over twenty-five faculty members that are committed to providing the highest quality of patient care. The section houses a variety of outstanding programs including an exceptional stem cell transplant program, a nationally recognized sickle cell program, and a strong neuro-oncology program. We are one of the few universities that participate in the Minority-Based Community Clinical Oncology Program and are also a member of the Myeloproliferative Disease Program, both being NCI-funded programs.</p>

Patients are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of pivotal clinical trials in thirteen different disease-type areas. <p>Our three-year ACGME Accredited fellowship program offers fellows the opportunity to work with a range of hematologic and oncologic disorders in a variety of settings in the Chicagoland area. Fellows rotate at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Mount Sinai Hospital, Mercy Hospital and now with MacNeal Hospital in Chicago’s west suburb of Berwyn. Same here, I get no sound from videos, text messages. This happens for a while, then it works again then it doesn't work. When I go to settings, my "change with buttons" is on but buttons don't work. I have restored it but there is no change. Here is a picture of my screen when i try to change volume.

Found the fix.
If the reboot doesn't fix it.
If the headphoens work find, but no external speakers.
If the double-click and page right to the software mute, doesn't show the sound knob - just the brightness
If your pop-up shows "Docking Station"
Then, the problem is very likely a dirty connector. The iPad/iPhone/iPod connector uses a resistor value to determine if the device is connected to an external 'speaker'. There are a range of resistances, for a range of products. This is known as the Connector Pin 21 issue.
Take some windex on a que-tip, or perhaps a Windex paper scrub and rub it on the bottom connector port. Somehow, "something" has gotten on those contacts, and it is pulling the voltage on pin #21 down - so that the iPad "thinks" it's connected to an external speaker - this will disable the internal speaker circuitry, as well as the internal speaker volume controls.
Do not over-saturate and short out your iPad. Do not throw it in the sink, do not use the kitchen faucet to flush it out. A Que-tip with a few drops of Windex (or other gentle cleaner) should work just fine. Takes all of 30 seconds - and magically, the volume knob appeared and everything worked just fine.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.

Solution found.
I am a Vodafone customer and installed the Vodafone app which asks you to turn off wifi connection on installation as it needs to communicate with their servers over 3G.
After restoring the iPad via iTunes this is the only app that I did nor re-install and seems to be too much of coincidence that while in full screen view watching films my wifi is switched off and 3G data connection is established 10 - 15 minutes into a fiilm and my data allowance gets eaten up!
I would also get push notifications from Vodafone saying "my daily data usage was almost used" with this app installed.
Have tested and on 3rd time watching sky go still wifi is on after 30 mins.
DO NOT INSTALL VODAFONE APP FROM THE APP STORE.

Having trouble with sound quality

I have had this iPod Touch 2nd Generation for almost 2 years now, and I'm starting to have some troubles with it. The headphone sound quality is now starting to deteriorate. Unless the headphones are plugged in a specific way, either one bud goes out, or the sound quality goes down, as there is a lot of static and crackling, and I've had experiences with it actually shocking my ears while I'm listening.
I have tried a new pair of headphones, and this does nothing.
My iPod is obviously beyond the manufacturer's warranty, and it's up-to-date with the latest update. Is there anything I can do?

No sound while watching videos

I finally figured out how to sync video's to my ipod,but when I go to play them,there is no sound at all.My earbuds are completely in the ipod.The video's play there's just no sound.Do any of you have any possible solutions?

Did you use iTunes to convert the videos? If so you shouldn't it doesn't do it right. You should use another program. Use MPEG streamclip it converts it pretty well with sound. http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-win.html

Having Trouble with sound when hooked up to my Car stereo

I have hooked up my iPod to my car stereo and it sounds horrible. I dont know if the guy that did it, did it wrong but all support is telling me is that to hook it up with the cords i have. Any help from people? thank you

Does your ipod play through your car speakers.
Im guessing it does.
I am rather confident that your problem is solely thanks to the volume not being correctly done. To make it louder, use the car not the ipod.
Keep the ipod on a low volume.

and synced them.
but when i play them on the ipod no sound comes out....

plug in your headphones. LOl jk, maybe your videos got corrupt because of a error. A few videos on my ipod got corrupt because of videora, and i still dont know why. Like sound would trail of drastically.

Try the volume rocker on the side of the iPad. Are you sure that you just don't have the volume turned all the way off?
The sound/speaker icon that Alan is describing is for systems sounds - sounds from apps, games, keyboard clicks, email notifications.
This describes how system sounds can be muted.
If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

TS3276 i am having trouble with my exchange emails. I use the latest exchange 2010 and am having trouble downloading all my emails on the macbook

I use a microdost exchange 2010 in my office. I just bought a macbook pro and try to syn my office mail. While it has been set up properlly and it has started downloading some of my older emails, it is taking very long and does not download all the mails especially the new ones. The ones it has downloaded take a long time to load and open.
I bought the laptop to use it on the go. What is the solution? Please help.

Startup your Mac while holding down the Option key. That should prompt the Startup Manager window where you can select the startup disk then click Restart.
If the startup disk is not available from that window, you may be able to repair the disk.
