Having troubles exporting media

Hello everybody,
I'm new to this forum and new to Premiere Pro.
I'm experiencing a problem with export setting.
My original video is 1008*600, recorded from my desktop with a desktop recorder. The FPR is 20. I created a project based on this video size, but I couldn't change the FPR to 20, only 23.xxx. I Don't know if it's 1by1 or 1by1.33 or such.
When I try to export the video, I get in all settings case my titles very good looking, but the original video is so bad. I cannot read the text on the video though the original video, in Media Player, is quite clear and easy to read.
Could someone tell me where is my fault? What should I be checking for?
Thanks a lot for reading trough the end,
Oliver

Thanks for your response.
Actually, I tried to change some settings in order to have the video the way I wanted and I could found a good settings using this:
Format : H.264
Preset: Custom
In Video settings:
TV Standart : NTSC
Frame Width : 1008 * 640
Frame Rate : 15
Field Order: Lower
Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square Pixels
Profile: High
Level: 3.1
... This givre me a good quality in the Output previous screen (it did not with the other settings) but it keep on exporting a very bad video. As I said, the Title ate okay but the background video is awfull.
If someone could help me with this...]

  • Anyone else having trouble with media import in 10.2?

I am having trouble importing media from a camera SD drive. It lets me see the file, but is not importing. When I select import nothing happens.

David, I found a work around. I use a Canon XA10 and usually can just pull the SD card from it, plug in to my Macbook pro and download the file(s) I need. Not quite sure why it never downloaded last time. I opened the file I needed and saved it to the hard drive and accessed it just fine. Probably just a glitch, but wondered if this was an issue with the new 10.2. Will have to see if the problem continues to recur.

  • I am having trouble exporting closed captions from premiere cc 2014.

I am having trouble exporting closed captions from premiere cc 2014. I see them in the program monitor but after i export and try to playback in either quicktime or VLC i get to embedded captions. I eve tried the side car file and embedded with compressor and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
I only used compressor because i switched from final cut to adobe. easy fellas!

I have latest QT version, do i need to go back to 7? I have tried VLC also, i usually use that to check CC in mpeg files. I am exporting a QT H.264 for just testing purposes, I need a prores HQ, also this is SD so my sequences are set to 720x486.

  • I am having trouble exporting .raw files to an external storage device.  Even though I export "original" they end up as jpeg files.  Any idea what I am doing wrong?

I am having trouble exporting .raw files from my Mac Book Air to an external storage device.  Even though I am exporting as "original" they are being exported as jpegs.  Anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong?

Using the "original" setting is the correct way to do it.  Select on of the photos and use the File ➙ Reveal in Finder ➙ Original menu option.  That will take you to the file inside the library via the Finder.  Confirm that what you see if the raw file.
If it is then try the following:  make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
         User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto.  You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.

  • I am having trouble exporting my responses, how do I save all responses as an Excel table?

When I click on the Save as Excel button, and then click OK to export all cells to Excel, it gets stuck "Converting..." and does not process.

I'm also having trouble exporting my responses. I get a message that says:
I was able to copy everything and make my own excel sheet, but would still like to know what I can do.. And it's not only for this one form, I get the same response for all my forms.

  • Premiere Pro CS5 - Trouble exporting media

I've been really frustrated the last couple of days. I'm trying to export a video with 2 audio tracks and 1 video track and it sometimes exports fine but sometimes doesn't. I tried exporting with media encoder cs5 and this is what i got
    - Source File: /Users/jakesantini/Library/Caches/TemporaryItems/blackopsfirstcommentaryagain.prproj
    - Output File: /Volumes/Jake's Hard Drive/Sequence 01.mp4
    - Preset Used: For youtube
    - Video: NTSC, 1280x720, 59.94 fps, Progressive
    - Audio: AAC, 64 kbps, 44.1 kHz, Stereo
    - Bitrate: VBR, 1 Pass, Target 6.00, Max 9.00 Mbps
    - Encoding Time: 00:31:38
    Thu Nov 18 12:55:37 2010 : Encoding Failed
Multiplexing has failed. Please recheck the settings and try again.
It encodes all the way through to the end but it just won't work. When i try to export with just the "export media" option it says it's at 100% for about an hour and then goes away, but the video still doesn't work. Any ideas?

Same problem here. I ran out of ideas and tried to export it in pieces... by tomorow I can tell if this work around helped.

  • Having trouble exporting photos from iPhoto to external drive.

I am having trouble copying files to my external drive.  It is a shared external drive connected through my wireless router.  I can copy some photo's to the externaldrive folder and they transfer no problem and some of the photo's from the same folder appear to be transfering but as soon as the copying window goes away so does the photo's from the folder I was putting them to.  New to apple so I am still learning the in's and out's and I am sure it's probably something easy.  Any help would be appreciated.  The external drive I was using on a PC before and the Mac seems to see most everything so not sure if that matters or not.  Pic and video's came from same camera on the same day.

is there anyway to transfer direct to the hard-drive?
What does that mean? Do you mean have your Library on an external drive? Yes, that's easy.
I have a network HDD connected to my router
    Two issues here.
    1. That NAS is not an appropriate disk for an  iPhoto Library -  iPhoto needs to have the Library sitting on disk formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Users with the Library sitting on disks otherwise formatted regularly report issues including, but not limited to, importing, saving edits and sharing the photos. Later versions simply won't allow the Library on such devices.
    2. Router? Wireless connection?  A strong warning: If you're trying to edit the Library (that is, make albums, move photos around, keyword, make books or slideshows etc.) or edit individual photos in it via Wireless be very careful. Dropouts are a common fact of wireless networking, and should one occur while the app is writing to the database then your Library will be damaged. Simply, I would not do this with my Libraries.
    To move an  iPhoto Library:
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
    1. Quit iPhoto
    2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
    3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
    4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
    Regards
    TD

For the past month, I have been unable to download the pictures backed up via Backup assistant.  When they actually come up, they are NOT in chronological order.  That's a pain, but the bigger problem is that, every time I try to download a photo, I get an error message that all servers are busy.  So, I have NO ACCESS to these photos!  help!!!!

  • Having troubles with Media Encoder CS6

    Hello,
I am having the issue with Media Encoder where the it tries to connect to the dynamic link server for a long time and then ultimately fails with the message Could not read from the source. Please check if it has moved or been deleted.  I have so far tried everything that I found online so far, that being uninstall and reinstall and creating the Premier shortcut in the Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\dynamiclink directory but nothing has worked.  I am queuing the job from Premiere Pro CS6.  I am not sure where to go from here and really need some help.  This is on a Windows 7 machine.  Thanks.

There are several different ways to add a Premiere sequence to AME, see if either of these alternative methods work for you:
Opt 1) Save your Premiere project, then drag your sequence from Premiere's Project panel and drop it into AME's Queue panel.
Opt 2) Quit Premiere but leave AME running.  Drag your Premiere project file from the desktop (or wherever you've saved it) and drop it into AME's Queue panel.  You should see an import dialog asking you to choose the sequence you want to import.

  • I am having trouble exporting my bookmarks to a html file. How do I do this?

I tried to follow the instructions on the regular Firefox site.
But I can't find a way -- as the toolbar is displayed on my screen -- to trigger the "export bookmarks" prompt (as described in the conventional instructions for doing this?)
Is there any other way? I remember not having any problem at all in the original version of Firefox. But that was a long time ago.

    Hi,
To view the regular menu bar temporarily, press '''Alt''' or '''F10'''. To make it permanent '''View''' ('''Alt''' + '''V''') > '''Toolbars''' > '''Menu Bar''' or right-click on '''+''' after the last tab and enable (tick) '''Menu Bar'''.
To export, please try this: '''Bookmarks''' ('''Alt''' + '''B''') > '''Show All Bookmarks''' or press '''Ctrl''' + '''Shift''' + '''B''' to open it directly, click '''Import and Backu'''p on the top and '''Export Bookmarks to HTML...'''

  • Anyone else having trouble exporting?

I thought Motion 5 was going ok. There were a few troubles such as importing M4A audio files (taken straight from iphone voice memo) would crash motion instantly.
Then I tried exporting. Video is fine. Only half of my audio actually exports, other sound files are exported from the timeline, but it doesn't seem to recognise the in and out points I've given each audio clip and just exports whatever it wants. I've tried various settings. My audio clips are a mix of MP3s, AACs and CAFs.

Different results, same general problem... "Export Movie" fails by creating a mess instead of the video expected.
Here's a frame from around the middle of the result of 'Export Movie' using 'Apple ProRes 422 (HQ)':
Tried it several times with different options, always the same messy disaster.
Here's a frame from around the same spot when I use "Export Using Compressor Settings", same choice of Apple ProRes 422 (HQ):
    (obviously works).

  • Having trouble exporting file from After Effects CS5.5

I am trying to add some titles to a Multi Camera mix I have finished. I have exported my multi cam that I created in Premiere Pro as an MPEG.
So hears what I have done:
    - open After effects
    - create new composition (HD 1080x1440- length 2:16 (so clip fits)
    - I place my clip in the time line the type some text.
    - in the effects bar I click the roll up and select "Browse Presets" which opens adobe bridge
    - I apply my effects and they play back in elements fine...
When I try to export my clip as a Premiere Pro Project it doesnt keep my animated txt when I open it. Says it does not support the presets. his
Con someone please help me export this project? Getting very frustrating. I need it as a High Res HD file

Create the titles in After Effects without the MPEG.  (Or if you must use it as a reference, go ahead and do so, and then when you're done creating the title, delete the MPEG.)
Then go back to PP and select File>Dynamic Link>Import After Effects Composition...  Navigate to the AE project that has the title, and bring in that composition.  It will appear in your bin as a clip.  Then you add it to the sequence and export the completed video with titles.

  • Having trouble exporting to pdf from InDesign CS6

When I attempt to export to pdf from InDesign CS6, the application crashes. Apparently there is some phantom plug-in issue.
I need to get this resolved asap.
    Thank you,
    Marissa

Have a look at this generic document to help you troubleshoot: http://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/troubleshoot-printing-pdf-export-indesign.html
Could you also provide details about what you've tried, and what errors you encountered? Is this problem limited to a particular document, or all documents?

  • I am having trouble exporting my file as a pdf.

I have a document which I am creating in indesign, about 100 pages long, with images, etc. Each time I try to export it as a pdf it crashes, and then when I try opening the pdf the error message comes up saying that Adobe reader could not open this file as it is not supported file type or has been damaged.
This file is on my computer and has not been sent as an email.
I use the Indesign cs6 and I am on a mac computer.
The only thing I can think of is that I tried to save this file on a blank cd a few days ago. Maybe that is what caused this?
I have tried everything I can think of, spoke to Adobe support, although still waiting for a call back from them.......
Does anyone have any sound advice as I have a print deadline looming?!

Well the PDF hadn't finished creating because InDesign had crashed - therefore the PDF that was created was incomplete.
As with any file that constantly crashes - make a backup of it before you continue.
First thing to try is to remove Minor Corruption http://forums.adobe.com/thread/526991
    If that doesn't work:
To troubleshoot a file you should Export half the pages to PDF and then the other half.
When one half fails you know which part of the book it is in.
You can the do the same again - said it failed on export to 50-100 pages then export 50 - 75 pages - if that doesn't crash then try 76-100 pages.
    Divide and conquer.
Once you know what page is causing the problem - you can try various things to get it to work - like
resaving tiffs as psd and place the psd instead (or vice versa)
Resave jpegs/png/gifs etc.  to TIFFS or PSD and replace them
It might not be an image problem - it could be the Text Frame is corrputed and you may need to repace that text frame with a new one.
It can be tricky to find out what's causing it.
