Having upgraded to Firefox 24 it will now not start at all after clicking on the icon. My OS is Windows Vista premium. It will start in safe mode.

Upgraded to Firefox 24 and now nothing at all works despite uninstalling and reinstalling it several times and losing all my bookmarks etc. However it does start in safe mode. At first I thought it was my security Norton 360 but after 2 hours in contact with them I'm still in the same position. When I double click on the Firefox icon I can see the cursor timing out and then it just disappears and nothing loads.
My OS is Windows Vista Premium and I am using Windows internet explorer at the moment.

If you close Firefox, then start Firefox in Safe Mode, does the problem still occur? For instructions on starting in Safe Mode, see [[Safe Mode]]. Extensions can sometimes be the cause of problems. Yes, if you repurchase it you may lose your progress. The exception would be a game that stored all your progress on a server under your ID
If you want to retain your progress you have two choices:
1. Don't apply the update.
2. Use your fathers account password to update the game.

Hierarchy Viewer does not load after clicking on the + icon

Premise: I have a hierarchy viewer with multiple levels of master-detail with different VOs.
The inputs to the taskflow containing this page are the key and VO type. The tree should render until that VO which matches the type and key and all the next level children under it. The user can expand the nodes under these children at will to drill further.
Issue: I am able to render the tree with results. When I click on the + icon to drill on the children, I see that the backend code for fetching the children is called. But, the tree does not display. It shows the loading icon forever.
Example:
Organization - PO - POItem - Vendor - VendorSite -VendorAddress
                                                       - Responsible - ContactDetails
                    - Project - SubProject - Location
TaskFlow Input: Vendor, 12345
The tree should dispaly Organization - PO - POItem - Vendor(12345) - VendorSite(for 12345)
                                                                                                    -Responsible(for 12345)
If the user expands any of the VendorSites, the VendorAddresses should be shown

Code: To filter the children, I am overriding the CreateViewLinkAccessorRS in the VOImpls. I am passing bind variables to the VO criterion to check the paths.

@Arunkumar: Yes, I ran the AM tester and I am able to see the results properly for all the VOs and levels.
I created a sample on the HR Schema and tested. I see that when I click on the Employee node for expansion(can be checked with the data or the short description), it hangs with the load icon.
I do not see anything in the log other than:

Fragments with more than one root component may not display correctly in a region and may have a negative impact on performance. It is recommended that you restructure the page fragment to have a single root component.

Itunes not coming up when I click on the icon???

Please help! I have had itunes for months and have had no problems until now. All of the sudden when I click on the itunes icon nothing happens. I double click as usual, the hour glass appears for a mimute and then nothing. Does anybody have any ideas for what is goign on? If it helps, my ipod still charges when I plug it into my computer. PLease help, I am so frustrated!

I think I have the solution for you. I printed a response from DmitryByk (posted sept 11, 2005) and I followed the process he suggested and got my iTunes back. Look in the threads for iTunes for Windows, installation & upgrades, topic:Success! All fixes togther in one thread..step by step. It worked for me by the time I got to downloading Bonjour for windows. follow it and I think you will be sucessful too.

I too find that Firefox 4 is an absolute memory hog. It takes forever to do anything. I have a small eMachines, one of the last ones to be installed with Windows XP. Firefox 4 seems to assume a volume of memory that simply does not exist on my machine.

After updating itunes to the latest version it will now not open. I have tried reinstalling the programme, rebooting and all other suggestions, to no avail. this not the first time I have had issues with itunes. Frankly I find it completely unacceptable .

This not the first time I have had frustrating problems with the Apple system. Perhaps someone could suggest a more reliable system to switch to. Someone with a better troubleshooting system.

Going all the way back to Firefox 3.0.5 is shear foolishness, it is 14 security versions behind the last 3.0.19 release. And that version is missing at least a dozen security updates that were applied to the 3.5 and 3.6 versions after support for 3.0.x ended.
If you are not happy with Firefox 4, you should have installed Firefox 3.6.17. That is very similar to the 3.0 and has all the security fixes that have been released since support for Firefox 3.0.x ended last year.

The option to update OTA did not become available until iOS5. You will need to connect the phone to the computer and iTunes and update in that method.

Skype not starting after clicking on the icon.

Skype not working. I have done everything possible from reinstalling/uninstalling, to doing physical hardware inspections and memory checks as well as restoring to FACTORY mode.
I have a decent understanding of computers so I am absolutely baffled.
Things to note:
-Every time I click the skype icon and it does not open, instances of it open in tskmanager.
-NO RAM damage or physical damage
-Restored to Factory Mode
-Done malware and virus checks
-Did a wipe of free Hard Drive space and after, some issues occured.
I have a DxDiag if needed.
