Haw to get movie's on my IPad??

I have a movie with a digital copy with it and it says it works with iTunes bot wen I put it in my windows computer iTunes doesn't do any thing so what do I do???

If it has a second disc labeled digital copy / DVD put that one in your computer and a Redeem code box should pop up in itunes.
If it doesn't have a second disc, there should be instructions in the paper inserts inside the movie box of what has to be done. Probably going into iTunes and directly redeeming the code.
If not, try opening itunes on the iPad scrolling all the way to the bottom on the Featured Tab, and tap on Redeem Code. Then enter the code there.

Where are these movie files now? You can't copy DVD's directly onto it, so you'll need some kind of computer to access them to get them on the iPad.
If you can get them into a cloud storage app such as Dropbox, you can then view them on your iPad.

I have roughly 100GB of movies (mostly AVIs) on my laptop. They are not purchased via itunes. I am getting an ipad mini 16GB. How can i best deal with movie transfers so i can watch movies on the ipad mini. I know there is little storage on the mini, and i know i will probably have to convert to mp4s, but can i use an alternative storage that would both store movies and enable me to watch them on the mini??

You can't import movies from DVD directly into iTunes like you can with a CD. The process is much more complex and will require the use of third party software.
You'll first need decrypting software to remove the encryption on the DVD.
Then you'll need conversion software to convert the decrypted files into an iPod friendly format.
Sometimes, both of those tasks can be accomplished with one piece of software. (Before anyone mentions it Videora iPod Converter is NOT an all-in-one package. It does NOT decrypt DVDs.)
PQ DVD seems to be popular for Windows users, as well as ImTOO.

I have a movie in iTunes that I want to transfer to an iPad.
The iPad was not setup on my current machine (or not setup using a computer at all, I can't recall), so when I connect, it asks to restore from my last iPhone backup, or setup as new. The iPad is only backed up on iCloud.

If you purchased the TV. shows from iTunes, they are compatible with the iPad and there is no reason why they shouldn't work. Did you try syncing them to the iPad from iTunes on your computer?

Getting movies exported from my iPad?

While on vacation, I uploaded movies from both my iphone and my digital camera to my ipad. How do I export them from my iPad to my iMac? Also, I have an album in photos called 'all imported' . Once my videos are uploaded to my iMac, I plan on deleting that album. How do I do that. BTW, all my photos uploaded to my imac just fine, but I don't believe my videos did as I don't see them in iTunes.

I rented 5 movies thru itunes via gift cards on my pc.
I can see the movies on my pc - I can't get them on my ipad mini.

Once the rental is downloaded, you can watch it on your computer or transfer the rental to a supported iPod, iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV (1st generation):
Connect the device and select it in iTunes.
Click the Movies button.
Select the movie, and then click Move.
After all movies have been moved, click Apply in the lower-right corner of iTunes.
You must be connected to the Internet to transfer a rented movie.

About 6 months ago I discovered iTunes was set by default to 720p. These MUST BE CHANGED TO 1080P!!!!!!!!.......So I installed FULL 1080P file on my laptop on iTunes... When I download movies on iPhone 5s/iPad mini the file is 720p So within about 60 seconds of starting download of 1080p files into my laptop of iTunes purchases. It was at that moment that I realized it was that file my laptop has on file to sync to my Apple device...Ten minutes later when the first 1080P HD file was downloaded I must say... The resolution is amazing... I now use this same process to install movie files from iTunes.. In FULL 1080P.. Not 720P... Works on my iPad mini also... Avatar is 5.4 GB if installed over Wi-Fi... However sync with laptop and file is 6.5 GB in size... Called Apple told them... No reply yet.... You must delete 720P files from your laptop... Look for file size in any movie purchase and you will see DOWNLOAD IN 1080P.. This will open preferences in iTunes for you to the correct tab so you can change setting to 1080p from default of 720p... DELETE any downloaded movies already downloaded into laptop... You can check file quality by right click on any movie folder and the look at movie info... Will say 720p HD... Delete to recycle bin and iCloud will appear on each movie... Now download 1080P HD file... When completed. Right click any file to verify it is 1080P HD... The sync with device...... And get ready to be upset with Apple for holding back your device for the last 2 years 3 months and 16 days......And be ready to catch your jaw from hitting the floor when you see your screen in full 1080P HD.... Apple Engineer's were asleep.....
You will notice better pic quality... Apple by default is still sending the 720P file to the new iPhone 6 plus over wifi and sync.. howve this process above will give you full HD file for your Apple device...

I can not get movies to transfere from my computer to my IPad, I am using Window 7 64 byt and have down loaded the lastest version of Itunes from Itunes. It will act like it is getting ready to sync (just like it did in the past) and then it stops

Did you click on the Firewire word? What do see to the right of it?
If you see something like the picture and nothing below the "Maximum speed" line, then the camera is not being "seen" by your mac. Otherwise a description of the camera should appear in the right pane.

How to get rented movie from PC to iPad

I had a problem with a rented movie.....when I go to it on my iPad it won't let me play it then when I go to the little cloud underneath the play button it tells me to that the movie is rented but not downloaded.....where do I go on my iPad to manage downloads? Unfortunately, rented movies cannot be transferred from the device onto which they were downloaded.
If you wish to watch it on your iPad, I would recommend using the "Report a Problem" link on your iTunes Store invoice. Apple will then, hopefully, make the rental available to you again for download within a day or two. It is worth making sure that you have sufficient storage space available on your iPad for the movie, and note that you will need a WiFi connection to download it.
