HD storage is getting smaller and smaller when doing nothing

My HD storage is currently at 19.12GB available. It was at 19.23GB when I turned my comupter on. I did nothing except toggle back and forth between emails, and web pages and download a malware checker and the flashback checker recommended from these threads. It is now at 19.11GB. That's a big jump for less than 400KB. Yesterday, I was at 18.72GB and dropping as I moved stuff around from my downloads folder to folders on my HD. The space decreased a bit, but after shutting down, it increased up to the 19.23GB. I didn't delete anything that would equal almost half a Gig of memory. I disconnected from my modem and my WiFi to see if something was siphoning my information. My file sharing is turned off. I have run all my virus scans and trojan scans and malware scans. My Java is unchecked for both Safari and Firefox and yet when I restart, my trash bin has a few temp items in it. The folder says recovered files and has zero K in it. Sometimes there have been sub folders in it with temporary plugins and also sub folders that have said Sendmail. All have been empty or zero K. Also, when I empty the trash bin, say it had 1 folder with 2 sub folders in it, but when I delete it says removing 6 items. I have noticed this before on previous restarts, but I am now noticing this with my HD space. Am I just crazy or does something not sound right?

I will go through this step by step.
Find ebay site either by google search or typing the address.
On ebay site ‘Click’ Login it, then login as normal in to your home page what ever it may be. } All these time the font is fine and I can view the full page from the left to right and scroll down to see me of the page.
Now click on My Ebay and select Watch List. } When that’s loading up it looks ok for a bit and visible but As soon as the page fully loaded the font become small and the page is fully visible but the font is small.
Next lets go into another link on ebay. E.g Purchase history by clicking on My ebay and selecting that link. Once again when the page is loading up it looks ok for a bit but as soon as fully loaded the fonts are even smaller then before to a point I can’t see. I at that point have to zoom in to view any writing.
If I then go back to the Watch list the fonts are even smaller then the last time..lol After that I just give up… and use the Ebay App
When I got the Ipad2 first I don’t think it did that. It started to do this from yesterday and I only had it for less then a week now.

Why does my browser continue getting big and small. first it happened when I first installed chrome so I delete chrome and install firefox. I constantly have to reset the font size and view. How can I stop this from happening.

I downgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 7, do I have to reinstall firefox? Text in Yahoo email and Craigslist getting smaller and smaller automatically.

I recently purchased a new laptop which came with Windows 8 (appears you can't find a new one with Windows 7 any more). Reinstalled the latest version of Firefox from the official Mozilla download site. Gave the laptop to my wife and she HATED Windows 8. So I purchased a license of Windows 7 and had Fry's downgrade my Windows 8 laptop to Windows 7. All going well for my wife except her Yahoo email and Craigslist adds get continually smaller and smaller. Did the CTL + trick and reset, but was wonder if I need to uninstall Firefox and reinstall it. My thinking is that the Firefox configuration may think it's still on a Windows 8 machine. Would that eliminate the continual need to CTL+ every time the text gets smaller?

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer

Onscreen Keyboard gets smaller and smaller

Dear Reader.
Because of impairment I heavily depend on onscreen keyboard. But strange things happen with lion: the onscreen keyboard got smaller and smaller. Now it is this tiny, that I even don't have access to the + button to restore the size. Only close and minimize buttons are visible due to small width. Closing and even restarting does not help at all. I don't see any chance to reset to default size.
Please help, if you know about,

If you can't drag the edge then I think deleting the plist might be the next thing to try.
Open a finder window and on the menubar select Finder > Go > hold the option key down to expose Library > click Library.
In the Finder windows for Library go to the Preferences folder and find com.apple.KeyboardViewer.plist and either drag it to the desktop or delete it.
You might have to logoff/logon. The system will create a new plist of the default size.

I solved the problem! The updates orignally were downloaded to the C: drive of the server. I've since moved them to the E: drive and for some reason the Content folder in IIS didn't change the file path to the new WSUScontent folder.
The root cause for this was failing to use the UTILITY designed for this very purpose.
I edited the virtual directory settings in IIS and was able to put the correct path in.
You still need to use the UTILITY.. to fix all the other stuff you're still missing.
In the %ProgramFiles%\Update Services\Tools folder...
WSUSUTIL MOVECONTENT E:\WSUS E:\WSUS\MoveContent.LOG -SKIPCOPY

Try that. If that doesn't help:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

In the search window, if you can, search for "com.apple.finder.plist". Trash it, and restart.
If you can't do it, put your machine in Target Mode, and connect to a buddies machine. Search for, and remove, that same file.
