HDD errors - Wi-Fi: no hardware installed - Flashing ?-Folder

Hi there,
for the last one year I'm having periodical issues with my macbook pro 13'' mid 2011.
Some time ago I started a discussion https://discussions.apple.com/message/22086569#22086569 concerning allocation errors on the file system etc.
I though I got it fixed with a new hdd sata connection cable. As it turns out I seam to only scratch the surface of a much bigger problem. As you can read in the title after getting allocation errors after a reboot my wi-fi hardware is not found (this also got repaired some time ago) and now i cannot boot into my system as I'm getting the flashing folder with the question mark in it.
With me changing cables and so I only get like 1 or 2 month of peace then the whole problem starts again. Could this be like a faulty logic board or some loose connection on it? I already paid like around 300€ for repairments on this **** thing and all they said or did was changing cables. I don't believe that cables are the source of the problem.
Do you have any other advices?
Thanks in advance

Hello Guys,
I am having the same problem. In the "No hardware installed" (Macbook pro - mid 2009 model os x 10.6) Help ...please....!!!

  • Error message when trying to install Flash 10.0.45.2

I am running IE 7 on windows XP. We had some issues with Flash active active control version 10.1.53.64 and higher so I unistalled 10.1.53.64 and downloaded the older version (10.0.45.2) from the adobe website but when I try to install it I get the following error "The version of Adobe Flash Player that are trying to install is not the most current version. Please visit http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer to obtain the latest more secure version". I am however able to install version 9.0.289.0
Is there any particular reason that i cannot install 10.0.
The reason that I don't want to use 10.1 is because it has a bug that affects the working of my application and the audio some times does not play.
    Thanks

Thanks for the information. I downloaded the Active X from the link you provided but I am still getting the same error message

If I remember correctly, there were two different installers for 10.0.45.2: one that did the checking for a newer version, and one that did not.
The forum search is currently disabled, and I cannot find the topics that were discussed at the time.
However, I still have the installers for the non-check version available for download on my servers:

  • Falied to register error message while attempting to install flash

I keep getting the same error message when I try to install flash. I've installed flash on this computer many times before. I've troubleshooted the problem to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas of how I might have a successful install. I am the administrator on my computer so I don't know what the problem is.
    Thank you

  • I keep getting time out error messages when trying to install flash player

I've put a new install of Win 7 64 bit pro onto a new hdd.  All other s/w has worked fine and not given me any issues except for adobe flash player.  If I just install FP 11 it installs ok.  Issue happens when I try to install the "other" version for Steam.  The install screen stops at 11%, shoots up to 47%, then I get a timeout error message.  If I uninstall and install the Steam version 1st it works then the regular version gets the same timeout error.  I have folllowed all advice from previous threads on this topic such as disabling firewall (I use Panda), a clean adobe install using the flash player uninstall program and removing reader as well then going through the registry and removing all mention of adobe, etc, etc.
I found a partial way around this.  I installed the Steam version of flash player, then found a website that I could download flash player 10 executable from.  I was able to run that and get both versions of flash player going on my system.  Then the flash player went and found the update to version 11.  I've just tried to install that and I end up with the exact same error messages all over again.
Is there website that I can download the executable file for flash player 11 from or a link to it on the adobe website?

I am not sure what you mean by "Flash Player for steam"; the only Flash Player installers I know is the ActiveX (for Internet Explorer) and the plugin (for other browsers); you can find both at http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player- windows.html#main-pars_header

  • I get a "connection error" when trying to update/install Flash Player

I have a previous version of Flash player so I was trying to update it. The installation doesn't make it past 5% before saying "connection error". I have tried all the troubleshooting steps and even tried to uninstall it. When I try to download the uninstaller, I get a page on safari that says "safari cannot connect to server" (I also tried on firefox too, same problem). I have tried to locate it in my toolbar and applications to uninstall it from there with no luck, it has completely disappeared. Not in my trash, nowhere. Not sure what else to do. I am running on Mac OS X 10.7.5. When I have Adobe check to see if it is installed on my computer, it says that a previous version is installed, 16.0.0.

  • Error 0x80004005 on new hardware install XP

I had lightning destroy my motherboard and CPU, the hard drive had lots of important software installed. I replaced the hardware and was able to see all my software. The Genuine Microsoft notification displayed saying that I had 3 days to activate my copy
of XP because of the hardware change. I was not able to get online because of a driver mismatch on the network card. When I was able to get the driver, (3 days later) I received a log in notice that this copy needed to be activated before log in could continue.
When I click yes, I get an unexpected Error 0x80004005 and it will not let me log in!
I cannot log in in safe mode, is there anything short of re-installing to correct this error? I have the key for the XP install.

  • "ORLive" broadcast error message says "install Flash" Is there a workaround for Flash?

Hi - I know that Flash doen't work on my ipad, and I know there are still a lot of websites out there that require Flash in order to show their content.  I'm okay with taking my viewing elsewhere most of the time, but the government (Medline - the NIH and the Library of Medicine) has a website that shows a surgical procedure that I really want to see.  On my ipad, all I get is the error message telling me to install Flash.  Is there any way that I can view this on my iPad - is there an app that I can use to open the url and see the video?  My iMac isn't working right now, and I'm stuck.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

    Try the Puffin Browser App
    * Adobe Flash Support
People, especially the smartest of all, say that mobile devices can’t handle the burden of Flash, but we say otherwise. As a true believer of Think Different, we think your Internet experience should not be limited by your devices, nor by your wallet. The Puffin Browser encapsulates remote Flash technology to enlighten the mobile users to watch Flash videos, play Flash games, and tap into an endless sea of Flash content; all by running Flash on our servers. Flash performs so well that even low-end smart phones can display Flash content as smoothly as expensive devices.

  • When trying to install flash ERROR!

I have been trying to get flash to work on my computer for
over a month. I have tried everything from uninstalling to
installing. Changing settings, restoring to an earlier date, you
name it I tried it. I was on a chat with HP yesterday for 6 hours -
still not working. Talked to someone at Adobe tonight - but they
dont offer tech support via the telephone for flash so he was not
able to help me when it would not install.
I have Vista home edition and IE 7 is where I have problems.
I am able to install it on Firefox no problem. This really makes me
not want to use IE 7 but I having issues with a slideshow that
defaults to IE so I need help!!!!
I was able to uninstall and install before tonight. But now
after uninstalling and restarting when I go to
adobe.com/go/getflashplayer it starts to download, install and then
    gives me an error:
The version of Adobe Flashplayer Active X is not the most
current - go to adobe.com/go/getflashplayer and download the most
    current version.
Well the issue is I am on that site and trying to download
    it.
I have tried getting it installed through a stand alone and
same error. I have tried through the slideshow software and still
    the same error.
Can someone - ANYONE - help me please. I can not believe the
issues have been going on with this for over a year and Microsoft
nor Adobe has come up with a fix.
I will leave my comments about that to myself - but I would
appreciate someone helping me with this issue.
Any advice other then get rid of Vista or use Firefox - those
are options I am still thinking about.
    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the information. I downloaded the Active X from the link you provided but I am still getting the same error message

  • Firefox keeps asking to install Flash. When I attempt this, I get an error message stating it failed. Flash works in Google Chrome, but not FF.

I don't know what happened but Firefox keeps asking me to install Flash. When I attempt to install the program, I get an error message that it has failed. There is no other information given and I'm just left hanging. I've tried this over twenty times with the same results. I've even uninstalled and re-installed Firefox, but this continues. I'm unable to watch any YouTube videos. I then installed Google Chrome and all is working fine. I can't stand the Google company though and really with I could continue using Firefox. Why is GC working for me any FF not? How can I fix this?

Google Chrome comes with its own Flash plugin, so doesn't require to install Flash separately.
You can find the latest Flash player versions for Firefox on this page.
You may have to run the Flash installer as Administrator (right-click: Run as Administrator) and make sure that Firefox and possibly other browsers are closed.
