How Do I, add old email (.mbox), to existing account on new iPad. I'm an old techie OOOOLLLLDDD techie. Most of it is old PC email. I have a decade's worth of this email resource. So it's 34,000 e-mails. Its an old account. I'm trying to learn the new social technologies, the iPad. I need to convert the old .pst email files to work with whatever the technologie is that Apple uses. At this point it APPEARS that O2M (Outlook 2 Mac seems to be the answer to the problem). changes .pst to .mbox records...
Then I'll deal with contacts and schedule (I believe Pockect Informant seems to be the answer here) when this is finished. At the rate I'm going iPad 6 will be coming out...
So, I've been dealing with this for a couple of weeks now and would like to get it soloved!
I just couldn't find a way to import anything!

My computer was infected some time back, and the only way I could use most programs was to set up a new user account. Now I want to retrieve some old emails and move them to my new account, but can't seem to make it happen. F/fox opens under old a/c, but can't access 'net so I can't forward them. I tried putting them into a folder, putting it on a USB drive and dragging that into 'fox in my new a/c, but it won't open. I am using Win XP.

He will run into a problem when he wants to use his own account. Some apps will have been purchased on one Apple ID and other apps will have been purchased on a different Apple ID. That's a nuisance situation when the apps need updating and, unfortunately, there is no resolution at the present time (IDs can not be combined).

Unable to Access Emails or delete Existing account

I changed by password about a week ago and unable to access email or delete existing account.
Error message in Edit Account screen " Your login information for account (Yahoo) has changed or is incorrect. Update your login information and try again."
Whenever I try to delete account this is the error message am getting "There was an error deleting your account."

Change the password in Yahoo! again, to something simple, and then try updating the password on the device again.

You cannot merge accounts.
You need to sign into the old account on your computer.

You cannot and need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

It sounds like you would like to associate your iPhone to your iTunes Store account. This article should help you do that:
iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID

Open iTunes.
Sign in to your Apple ID by choosing Store > Sign In from the iTunes menu.
Choose Store > View My Account from the iTunes menu.
From the Account Information screen, click Manage Devices.
Next to each device or computer name, you will be able to see when each device or computer was associated with your Apple ID. You will also be able to track how many days remain before your associated devices or computers can be associated with a different Apple ID.
Note: If no devices have been associated with the Apple ID, then the Manage Devices section will not be visible.

Hi Mofomon,
If you want to use the new/updated AppleID and password, you need to sign out of the App Store, sign out of iTunes, etc. and then sign back on with the new ID and password.
To sign out of the App Store on your iPad, go to Settings>iTunes & App Store, then click on your old AppleID, click on View Account, and sign in with your old password that goes with that ID. Then click on Sign Out. Once you have the old ID signed out, you can sign back on with the new ID and Password.
New purchases will be done with that ID, but if you actually set up a totally separate brand new ID from your old one (as opposed to simply changing it) then any past purchases will still be linked to that old ID, and will require the old password for updating.
If you simply changed your existing AppleID, then the new password will be what is needed for updating.
