HDMI black screen [SOLVED]

Question

I have a samsung ativ book 7 which I connected to a Panasonic TV via HDMI cable. The TV is recognised in gnome display properties and xrandr but the only thing I can see is black screen with no audio.

nothing of the things you mentioned helps and the kernel parameters article you've referenced is irrelevenat as I have an  Intel onboard sound & video controller

this thing is quite frustrating I must say, I've already searched the net for a solution but nothing seems to work.
