HDMI input from camera to computer

Hi, Is there a laptop or laptop card that takes the HDMI video / audio from a camcorder (Sony HXR-MC2000U) to stream using FMLE?  Will this be an HD signal?  Pointy haired boss insists we equip laptop to stream live HD video, audio through our stream server using laptop.  Thanks in advance.

  • Camera software not opening to transfer images from camera to computer. What to do?

My PowerShot 720is software ZoomBrowser EX not opening on computer. No images load and I don't have option to click on "connect to camera" so I can transfer images from camera to computer. Message says "Zb Module has stopped working. Windows is looking for a solution to this problem." Anyone have this happen and know what to do?
    Thank you!

    Hi BLG,
If you haven't already done so, please update your software for Windows 7.  Here's how.
Just click here to access the software updates for your camera.  Once there, just enter your operating system, then the version of the operating system.  Now click on "Software" to show the software updates.
Click on "ZoomBrowser EX 6.9.0a Updater".  Installation instructions are on the next page.  Also, please download "CameraWindow "DC 8.8 for Windows" to your desktop.
After accepting the required disclaimer, please download the program update to your desktop.
After downloading all the software you choose to install, please install ZoomBrowser last. This will allow it to link to the other Canon software on your computer.
Since you've installed an older version of software, you may now double-click on the program update to install it.  If not, just put the CD-ROM in your computer's optical drive and stop any installation program that starts.
If you've already updated the software for Windows 7, please contact us for assistance.  Click here for contact options.

  • HT4796 I started Migration Assistant and then my old computer spontaneously restarted.  I am back in Migration Assistant but my [new] iMac is still waiting for input from my old computer, and my old computer is waiting for the iMac to connect.  What do I

I have a new iMac.  I'm using Migration Assistant to transfer files.  My old computer spontaneously shut down.  I restarted it and am trying to use Migration Asst again, but each computer is waiting on input from the other one.  What do I do?

Let me see if I've gotten this right! You want to remove an account from BOTH machines? Do this for your new machine first, then for the other.
Click the Apple logo on the top left of the screen, System Preferences, Users and Groups (under Systems), unlock the lock in the window if its locked (you need to know the password), select the user that you wish to remove, and click the - sign next to the + sign for Login options. A window will pop up with some options. Select Delete this user and securely, and click 'Delete user'.
After this, do an update from the App Store.
Thats all there is to it.
For the other machine repeat the process except for one thing. Before you delete the user in this case YOU, you will have to give Administrator priviledges to your son bu checking the box 'Allow user to administer this computer'.
Do NOT do anything from Finder ... if you dont know how to fix the consequences of the problems caused.
There is no need to unauthorize your iTunes account on your new machine. Do it on the old machine though.

  • Again I am desperate to learn how to transfer pics from cam to computer

I had Kodak Easy Share which is no longer available. I have tried other transfer programs and I don't have sense enough to figure them out.
I simply want to transfer pics from camera to compt. so I can edit, and email.
    Might someone please help?

Hi lee, how do your normally connect your camera to your computer -- USB cable? Many cameras are recognized as an external storage device and assigned a drive letter, such as "E". In these cases, you can use Windows Explorer to copy the files to your hard drive using drag and drop.
Some people prefer to remove the storage card from the camera and insert it into a card reader attached to the computer rather than using a USB cable.
There is a good photo forum site at dpReview where you can get advice on specific programs and products.

  • 39L1350U doesn't display in native resolution on HDMI input from PC

    Hello all,
My 39L1350U won't use its native resolution (dot by dot) when I'm connecting a PC to its HDMI inputs.  The PC is outputting a true 1920x1080 resolution, which the TV recognizes.  For every picture size option, the image is either shrunk, with a black border around it (not filling screen), or it shows a zoomed in picture which does fill the screen, but cuts off the edges of the image.
If I connect my PC to the TV using the VGA input, one of the options is "dot by dot" which actually uses the native resolution and fills the screen, but of course it doesn't look as crisp as an HDMI input.
I've tried every option I can find in the TV menu, including resetting to factory defaults and flashing the latest firmware, but still nothing.  Anybody have any ideas?
    Thanks a bunch!!!

  • Direct photo from camera to computer

We need to shoot directly from our camera to our computer harddrive. one can do this with a movie in imovie. Any possibility for iphoto?

Are you referring to saving the shots as they are being shot directly to the HD via iPhoto? I don't think so. Here's the Apple instructions on importing into iPhoto: Import photos in a snap. I believe you would have to disconnect and reconnect between imports. Or possibly close and reopen iPhoto.
Easiest way to find out is to hook up a camera and give it test.

  • How do I upload photos from camera to computer

Hi, I have a Macbook with MAC OS X 10.5.2 software, a Sanyo/Sprint phone, and a data cable. I want to transfer photos from my phone onto my computer. I managed to plug the data cable into the phone, and into the USB port on the computer, but I don't know what to do next. There isn't an option on my phone camera to upload or export, so can I do this through the computer somehow? I'm sorta' desperate, it's for an important project.

    Welcome to the Apple boards:
Don't you need some special Sanyo software? Check their website.
What does the Sanyo manual say about tranferring data between the phone and a Mac?

  • How can I import photos from camera to computer?

The "Get Photos" selection has disappeared from my Elements 9 screen. How can I import photos from my camera to my computer?

Yes, the entire top bar disappeared. I no longer see the place to click to
initiate the import, and I don't see the place to select the camera from
which to import or the place where I used to select a file or create a new
file in which to save the pictures when they are imported. I clicked
Organize when I entered the program, but everything looks slightly
different. What can I do. I certainly don't want to jeopardize over 3,000
    photos installed.
    Thanks.

  • Importing photos from Camera to computer

    Hi all,
With the old version of Iphoto, when importing photos from the camera, the original files were automaticaly organized in the picture folder according the captures dates and times: separate folders for years, months and days.
When importing using the newer version, the photos will only be organized according the roll name and the "created date" of the file is the time of importation and not the time of capture any more. So now I have to make all the organizing of original files manually !
Does any one know if this is normal, and if what I can do to change this ?
    Any help is welcome.

    Hi.
Yes, this is perfectly normal. With version 6 iPhoto is organized by Film Rolls. There is no way to change it, as this is the fundamental organization of the iPhoto Library.
If you are concerned that you won't be able to find your photos, rest assured that iPhoto makes it easy. You can:
*drag and drop to another application or your desktop
*Right-click (control-click) and select "Show File." A Finder window will open with the file selected
*File> Export> File Export for use outside of iPhoto. Best practice when uploading to a website or creating a list of jpegs to have printed at a photo developer.
And to find your photos by date, try the little calendar icon near the lower left corner of the iPhoto window. You can pull up photos from a given year, month, and/or day with just a few clicks.
If you don't like the organization of your Film Rolls, you can reorganize them. Just be sure to do this from iPhoto, and NEVER from inside the Finder. Once your Rolls are organized to your liking, you will only have to file new imports into your system. The rolls you create will be reflected in the iPhoto Library folder structure you see in Finder. This gives you more control over how your photos are stored compared with previous versions of iPhoto.

  • How to Download Photos from Camera to Computer

Just got Photoshop and couldn't find steps to take camera photos and download to computer.  Would appreciate help on this.  Thanks.

Install Bridge if it is not already, that has a camera import command that accepts most camera models (with exceptions) Both Mac and Windows can import files using the file browser (explorer and finder), You can either connect via USB or a memory card reader (reader is recommended for fastest transfer)
For any more help I have to agree with Noel, you need to provide the OS and its version you are using as details can be specific to that computer and not all of us use both systems.

  • Can I use audio inputs from my node computer?

I have an iMac Core Duo and a QS733 with a Lynx Two card in it. Is it possible to use the Lynx Two's inputs on my iMac if I node the 733?
    iMac Core Duo 2GHz   Mac OS X (10.4.6)   2GB RAM, 256MB VRAM

You cannot. Photoshop only runs on the Windows and Mac OS X desktop operating systems.
Your iPad runs the iOS mobile operating system.
Adobe software for your iPad includes Photoshop Express
    Mobile Apps
Download to your iPad via the Apple App Store.
