HDMI is showing as No Signal on my LG television
My HDMI cable worked perfectly well before my laptop (ACER TravelMate/P with Windows 8) automatically updated. My laptop now makes a sound when I connect it to the Television so I believe it has been recognised
but my LG television says "No Signal".

Here are a couple helpful troubleshooting articles that I would recommend going through. They will walk you through troubleshooting this issue.
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

IPhone 4s with ios 6 shows full wifi signal but can't access to the internet while other idevice can
Hi everyone,
I updated my iphone 4s to ios 6 a few months ago and there was no problem until I change my sim card to other carriers last two days. This second sim card is the same sim card that I used it earlier this year with no problem. But the problem I face is when my iphone goes to sleep mode I realised that I can't receive any push notification from imessage, Whatsapp, and Line. When the phone is awake the wifi signal is back and I have to go to each application in order to get the message. I have tried the following methods but it didn't work: reset all network settings, restore as new iphone, push home and power button together, switch off my iphone, turn on airplane mode, and even change my router. At the moment I have restored my iphone as new for the 5th times.
Now the problem is worsen, after the phone is sleep for about 5 minutes and when I awake my iphone it shows the wifi signal. But I can't access to the internet at all. It shows no working internet on Whatsapp. Safari can't load any web page, the weather app can't update temperature etc. I have to switch off and switch on wifi in setting menu so that I can use the internet. And when I leave my iphone four about 5 - 10 minuetes then the problem start again. While I can't access to the internet on my iphone 4s, I used my dad's iphone 4s with ios 5.0.1 and it works just fine with the internet. My laptop can also access to the internet with the same wifi network but not my iphone.
Does anybody know what's going on with my iphone 4s? Is it the bug from IOS 6 or my iphone is broken? Please help me.

The 99.99% of people who have no problems after an update won't bother to post here; indeed, most of them don't even know ASC exists. FWIW, I had no problems with iOS 7 on my 4S. Your problem is most likely not related to iOS 6, but you should probably update anyway. Does your PC have a discrete video card or just the on board graphics processor with a VGA connector?
If you are using a HP monitor then try a monitor reset. Unplug the monitor’s power cord and hold down the monitor’s power button for 30-60 seconds. Plug the monitor back in and power it up. check the monitor's internal source selection and make sure that it is set to VGA.
Test the monitor and cable using just VGA on another PC to ensure that those components are good. Alternatively, use a known good monitor and VGA cable (without using adapters).
The other suggestion would be to locate a video card that is rated to work with the 250 watt power supply in your PC. There are very few video cards that are rated by the manufacturer to work with a 250 watt PC. A new power supply and video card might be close to $100.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Same exact problem with my Apple TV. Worked like a charm the first two times we used it. Haven't used it in about a month, now no Apple logo when I turn it on, or the logo appears momentarily and distorted, and then an error message from my Samsung HD TV: Mode Not Supported.

Hp pavilion shows no input signal?
I have a Hp pavilion p6208f that came with 6GB RAM and 500GB Hard drive. It's about two years old and has both windows 7 and Ubuntu on it. Anyway the problem I've been having is when i turn on the computer it shows no input signal on the monitor. I use a VGA cord and nothing is wrong with it because I plugged it up to my laptop and the laptop info shows on the pc monitor. It had the same issue about two months ago so I bought a new video card ( a Nvidia Geforce210) and all worked well until a few days ago. A few days ago the pc started acting up again and displaying the no input message. After messing with the video card and jiggling it around I got it to work two nights but last night nothing worked.
Heres the things I've already tried from looking at other posts:
Did a hard restart. (unplugged power cord and held power button a little over a minute)
Took out video card and hard drive, and put them back in.
jiggled the video card around plenty in case it was just getting a bad connection
Hooked up VGA cord to laptop to make sure that wasn't the problem
Clean out the fans (the fans and everything work just fine still)
Turned the monitor off and on to make see if showed VGA active
The only thing i did not do was try a DVI cord plugged into it because I do not have one right now.
Anyone have or had the same problem? I'm hoping the video part of the motherboard is not going out, but could that be what's happening?>I'm hoping the video part of the motherboard is not going out
Try the onboard graphic - so you can check it very easily.
Take out the additional card for this - graphics driver are nvidia?
If the vga port is covered, just uncover it - without graphics card you should get a video signal from the internal gpu port.
If you see no bios and nothing - is the pc reacting like he's booting up?
If no, then you have a problem with the internal gpu or maybe also with the memory.
Have you tried to use only one RAM?
Have you already re-seated them?

I don't think that the 210 will be much better than your internal one.

My wifi shows a strong signal but then i cannot connect to the internet (safari or apps). what is wrong? internet is working fine on my laptop.
Is this a new issue with your iPad meaning that you have been able to connect to the Internet in the past?
If it worked before try rebooting your router - unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again.
Sometimes restarting the iPad is all it takes as well. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
You can also reset Network Settings - go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.Or go to Settings>WiFi>tap the blue arrow next to your network>Forget this Network. In either of those cases, you will have to rejoin your WiFi network and enter your password again. -
my ipad 4 has been connected to my wireless network using a netgear sky broadband router succesfully for a few weeks, suddenly can't connect, network is showing but no signal - all other wireless gadgets are connected just fine - including iphone - any ideas?
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

I don't know what to do. My iPhone 4 just all of a sudden had a blank white screen. It still shows the bar at the top with the signal, time, and battery life. But the rest of the screen is white. If I touch the screen it acts like it's selecting something and gives me the choice to "Copy". It will still charge when I plug it up, but i cannot turn it off or lock the screen. I tried leaving it alone for awhile to see if it will lock on its own, like it normally would, and all it does is dim the screen. I guess im going to try to just let it die, and then see what happens, but if anyone else has any suggestions (other than taking it in to be looked at or getting a new phone) I would greatly appreciate it!
Any number of things could have caused the phone to do this. If after the reset you are experiencing additional problems, the next step in the troubleshooting process is a restore from a backup. Make sure you have one before you start the restore process. If that does not improve things, then you may have to restore as a new device. Remember, restoring as a new device will delete all data off the phone. Make sure all of your pictures are imported to the computer and all other data is synced to supported applications on the computer before restoring as new. GT120 DVI- HDMI not showing native resolution
I'm having issues getting my new Quad 2.66 Mac Pro with the stock GT 120 card to work with my LG L246WP HDMI display. I'm using a DVI->HDMI adapter (same I used with an older iMac without issue) and now it only shows HDTV supported resolutions. I had to use a 3rd party piece of software to force it to see 1920x1200.
Also, now windows in bootcamp won't work either using the DVI->HDMI but works with DVI->VGA! What I don't understand is that my older iMac with a ATI 2600 chip ran extended desktop and bootcamp flawlessly but with this new hardware it has been one giant headache.
Does anyone have a solution for this?I just spent the morning on the phone with tech support after hooking up my new Mac Pro to my HP w2408h monitor and finding the same problem everyone else has - maximum resolution of 1900x1080. The tech had me roll the OSX version back to 10.5.6, but it did not help. Using the dvi to hdmi connection on my Mac Book Pro gives me the proper resolution of 1920 x 1200, but no matter what the tech had me do, I could not get the proper resolution on the new Mac Pro. He did not think it was the hdmi to dvi connection, but I am almost sure, especially after reading the posts here, that the problem does lie with the hdmi (actually with the GT 120 video card). I do not expect a quick resolution from Apple to this problem.

Airport Express shows green, no signal.
So after finally moving into my new apartment, I decided to finally go wireless with my iMac G5 and my girlfriend's eMac G4. We practically skipped into the Apple store, purchased an Airport Express card and two airport extreme cards.
And then it all went downhill. I installed the Extreme card into my iMac and it picked up the signal instantly. Well, this was because the Airport Express was leaning against the unit. If I move the Express even one foot away from my Mac, the signal drops completely. There's nothing. The Express still shows "green" but the signal isn't getting to the iMac at all.
Any thoughts?Most likely problem - when you installed the Airport card into your iMac, you either (a) forgot to attach the internal Airport antenna cable connector to its socket on the Airport card, or (b) you did not FULLY push the connector into its socket, which takes a fair bit of force to do properly.
