HDMI to VGA Conversor, did you try it?

I've two times problems with Presentations from the Playbook because at the presentation room they provided me only VGA connector.
I´m really thinking to carry VGA adaptor for this kind of issues.
I locate in my country a conversor.

Did you try the plugin ARC for Room auto correction ?

Hello everybody, i know it might off topic, but i would like to know if some of you out there use the ARC Room Correction plugin from IK Multimedia, and how is reliable ? I am asking cause i always wonder about my mixes, to people they sound great to me some sounds weird, and was wondering if because my room is quite absorbing if it this that affects my mixes. PT880 + SATA + Overclock. Did you try it?

I am planning to buy a SATA hard drive to replace my PATA hard drives... However a user posted here in the forum, that his SATA drive run with corruption problems if he runs the FSB higher than a value of 150.
Anybody here already tried a SATA drive + PT880 with overclock and run it without problems?

you gotta have erm bios 1.5 or higher...
i think its 1.5...
we had an in depth discussion about this when it was first released a couple months back... see if you can find it..
i got the beta 1.5 in mine right now and i havn't got any problems 168mhz, but i havn't got sata drives on it... but look at the history on 1.5 bios... ithink it says something along the lines of "fixes SATA overclocking issue" or something

Both Firefox 12 & 13 take forever to load all websites. Firefox 11 works great. What did you change to cause this problem starting with 12?

I keep having to go back to 11. Supposedly 12 was to be faster. Instead it takes minuets to load every website. I have tried several betas of 13 with the same problem.

Did you try a new profile for the Firefox 13 version?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

In Firefox 3.6 on Windows you can hide the menu bar via "View > Toolbars" or via the right click context menu on a toolbar.
Press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the menu bar.

What was the full wording of the error message? Usually there is also a number or additional information.
Try placing the iPod in Recovery Mode and then restore
Next try DFU mode and restore.

You need to have a data connection. Tap Settings App > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Then in Settings App make sure Data is ON, or if you want make sure WiFi is ON.

HP HDMI to VGA Adapter

I bought the HP HDMI to VGA adapter to use on my Windows 8 ultrabook. It does not work and nothing shows on the second monitor/ projector (reminas black as if no signal is received in the projector). I have tried all the usual tweaks and I know how to connect to a second screen.
Is this adapter not compatible with Windows 8? if so is there a fix that I can download to get it to work?
It was very embarrassing to try and use this in a corporate presentation and it failed.

Hdmi to VGA issue

I use an HDMI to VGA converter to an external monitor. Recently the external monitor began to flas off and on periodically, and then completely went blank. Tried rebooting, and a second vga monitor with the same results. Purchased a new adapter as well and at first it semed to resolve the issue, but then it returned.
I turned the Laptop off overnight, and restarted, and the external monitor began working again.
That night left the LT go into sleep mode overnight, and when woke the LT the next morning the external display again did not recover.
Turned the LT off again and let it set for about an hout. Turned back on and the external monitor now works again.
I've reset the power options to nev ?er turn the monitor off, but let the LT go into sleep mode to attempt to determine where the issue is.
Not sure if it's heat related or sleep mode related.
Warranty expires in August so want to get to the bottom of this if possible.
Suggestions?

Again, it is likely that phone support will want to eliminate the adapter from the chain and test with a direct HDMI connection to verify the HDMI port.

Projector HDMI to VGA

Hello,
I try to connect my IdeapadS300 to a VGA projector I use for my studies. I have a HDMI to VGA adapter but when I plug it, the image is not transmitted.
Does anyone have this problem? Is there a special thing to do?

You can try checking if the Projector is being detected
Right-click on the Windows desktop and click Screen resolution to open Screen Resolution in Control Panel.
You should be able to see the projector as a display there (if not check the cable and then check the source setting on the projector if its on VGA)
Click on the projector display then choose the recommended Settings. Hit apply

Now Press Fn+F10 on you keyboard or F10 only.
You will be given a Screen setting Selection.
Choose you Preferred settings by clicking the option.

HP Slate 500 and HP HDMI to VGA Display Adapter (NP031AA)

The specifications page for the HP HDMI to VGA Display Adapter (NP031AA) (Link) doesn't list the HP Slate 500 as a compatible device in the campatible products list (Link).
Do these two products work together?
What VGA resolutions can I project using this cominbation of products? Am I limited to 1024x600? or 1024x768? or does it support displaying higher resolutions?
I'm thinking about making a purchase but I don't want to get the adapater if it isn't going to work.

HDMI to VGA no audio

As soon as I plug in my HDMI to VGA converter I now lose audio from the computer / video. It was working fine last night so I am not sure what changed. Haven't done anything affecting audio settings.
I'm running Windows 8.1 and I've installed all updates received since I bought the laptop on 3/18. Is there a special setting I need to work on to resolve?

Thank you for your inquiry.
I grasp that when you connect your HDMI to VGA converter you loose the audio from the computer video. It was working fine previously and you have not changed any settings.
When you connected the first time was the notebook on or off?
You may want to try connecting both devices first and then turning on the external device first and the notebook last.
