HDX 16 Turns Off Instantly When Charger Is Plugged In

My HP HDX X16T-1200 CTO Instantly turns off when the charger is plugged in to the computer. It runs fine off of the battery but it blinks off immediately with no warning the instant the charger is plugged in to it. It won't turn on at all with the charger plugged in to it.

Is this an LED on your power adapter? If so, what is the color when it is plugged into the wall?

Yesturday "searching" appeared on top left hand corner of my phone.. i tried taking out the sim and inserting it, still the same. not long after that, the phone just blanked out! i plugged in the charger and the apple icon comes on and it just stays on that screen! ive tried holding reset button down together with home button for 10secs or more.. still no results. the apple icon just comes on n off when it is plugged into the charger. as soon as i take the charger off, the icon goes off and phone just completely goes off. i cant get it to work normally anymore. i've only had this for about 1 month now!!! If you can, try and put your iPhone into recovery mode and then use iTunes to restore it to see if it resolves all the issues that you are seeing with the service as well as the powering off.

Turn off vibration when charging

I have my phone with no vibration and on mute, yet it vibrates whenever I plug it in to charge. How can I remove this?

As far as I know, you can't, it is a feature to confirm the connection between the phone and the charger. It will only stop vibrating when you switch off the mute button, but this will give you the connection sound back instead.

MacBook Pro turns off instantly, charger sparkles.

MB Pro (Early 2011) turns off instantly if I move my charger cable or touch magnetic DC connector (L-type). I can also hear connector sparkle, when moving it. It started happening recently and now it's getting on my nerves, especially if I forget to save a project (because I would have to start all over again). I've read a lot of topics on this problem, but haven't found the exact circumstances.
It would be grateful if somebody explained me the reason and suggested a solution for this issue.

i know this is a year old, but did you ever figure out what the problem was? my mid 2010 macbook pro is doing this... a lot, but only as of recently. I use it a lot, but recently it has just started to move a lot slower, and has been doing things like this, it will not go into sleep mode( will go dark then come back on while closed), pinwheel of death etc..
anyway, it shut down 4 times in an hour the other day. its as if my charger stops working (the light wil go off) and at the same time my computer will crash. i dont know what is causeing it.. i also have the service battery warning, if that has anything to do with it.
any ideas of what the problem is? or of a solution....?

First try a reset, by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
If that fails, you can try restoring the iPad using Recovery Mode.

Not too sure of what you are saying but try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!

The iPod Nano battery will not charge unless you connect it to your computer, to an AC outlet with a wall adapter, a charging dock or an auto adapter/dock.
You battery is always discharging when idle or shut off. You should read the manual for your model iPod Nano regarding batteries - iPod Manuals

Hi all, I've had this macbook for about 2 years now.
It had no problems at all. (I didn't use my macbook for like months)
Then I needed it for my school, so I installed windows 7 using bootcamp a few days ago.
and I've noticed that my macbook turns off immediately when it's unplugged.
i thought it is because of windows at first time,
but I booted on with Mac OS and it has same problem.
It just turns off immediately. and it won't back on until I plug it to charger.
Is it battery problem? or could it be anything else?

Sounds like the battery to me. Usually they don't like being left for months especially if fully charged.
Check the battery health
Click on the Apple icon at the top left corner of the screen
Click on "About this Mac"
Click on "More Info"
Under Hardware, click on "Power". This will show you information about your battery, including how many cycles the battery has been through, it's charging ability and so on.

Ipod 30gb turns off automatically when battery is about half

Hello,
I have been testing my new ipod 30gb for a few days to see how much time I can let it play until thebattery dies. However, the last two times i did that (out of three trials)the ipod turn off automatically when the battery reached about half.
My 'hold' button was on so I could not have touched it by accident and I left the ipod on my desk and no one touched it.
Has anyone experienced this before or would anyone know what is happening?

First, as I stated, the "cure" for an old battery is to buy a new one. Many people have had faulty batteries replaced for free by Apple - if the health is low (<80%) and the cycle count is <300, that's a faulty battery that is likely eligible for replacement. Iphone turns off randomly when its locked

My iphone turns off randomly when its locked, also the screen flashes occasionally when im making a call. And also in the usage section it doesnt come up with any information in the time since last full charge section, even though ive left it on charge for a solid 8 hours over night the last two nights, any ideas????

Unless as part of a backup, or stored somewhere else, they are gone.
Your son needs his own Apple ID for iCloud, FaceTime & iMessage. He can continue to use yours for iTunes content, but for everything else, he needs his own.
When you did what you did, as far as iCloud knows, this is the same person with multiple devices, and that's they way things are supposed to work: keep everything in sync.
