  • Neo4/sli, Venice 3200 with win xp Pro 64 Bit? Pros and cons?

    The subject pretty much says it all.  I'm a home desktop use of Office applications and gaming.  Should I consider 64 bit OS or stick with 32 for now?
    The components I'm ordering are in my signature file
    Thanks

    The x64 Edition is good for applications and multi-tasking, but no big gains for gaming...yet. True, there are few drivers for it, but they grow weekly, and the basic support is there. nVidia already has 64-bit graphics drivers, AMD of course has theirs and Maximum PC Magazine (July Issue) has links for those hard-to-find drivers. • Sequenza di bit

    Buonasera a tutti,

    Grazie,
    Davide B

  • License nbr error message after macos crash and migration to Yosemite (in spanish)

    Hey there HarrietNamirYa,
    It sounds like there is something starting with your Mac that is crashing as soon as it boots. I check for Login Items, specifically anything to do with DivX or DMSLaunch with this article:
    Login Items pane of Users & Groups preferences - Mac Help
    You can have apps, documents, or server connections open automatically when you log in to your Mac.
    To open Users & Groups preferences, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Users & Groups.

    Items that open automatically at login.
    Hide column
    If you don’t want an item’s windows to be visible after login, select the Hide checkbox.
    This option has no effect on server connections; server connections always appear in the Finder after login.
    Item column
    Icon and name of the app, document, or connection that opens automatically. To see detailed information, hold the pointer over the item for a moment.
    Kind column
    Type of item (app, document, or folder.)
    Add and Remove
    To have an item open automatically at login, click Add ,then select the item.
    To stop an item from opening automatically, select the name of the item, then click Remove .
    Lock
    Locks or unlocks Security & Privacy preferences. Click the lock icon to unlock it, then enter an administrator name and password.
    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

  • Indesign cc 2014 no me abre

  • Cannot connect to Session broker server, but can to other servers in Cluster

    Hi Everyone,
    Hopefully this is the right place to post. Have searched quite a bit through the forums (not all 19000+ pages though), and can't seem to find a similiar issue.
    I have also searched the internet and tried all solutions others with a similiar problem have.
    This is my problem:
    We have two servers running Server 2008 R2, set up as Remote Desktop Servers in a cluster setup.
    The session broker is located on the second server (This is an active server which has sessions load balanced to it). There is also a DNS round robin setup
    Problem: When sessions are allowed to be load balanced on Server2, then the users cannot connect to the cluster. The round robin seems to still send some sessions to the first server, and these seem to connect fine.
    I suspected the issue was with the WMI Respository, and so started. I found a lot of errors, but have been unable to fix them.
    I downlaoded the WMIDiag from Microsoft, and here is the report:

    This seems to be the biggest problem:
    48960 15:56:44 (1) !! ERROR: Actual trustee 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM' DOES NOT match corresponding expected trustee rights (Actual->Default)
    This seems to be the second biggest error (and there are a few of them):
    0x80041002 - (WBEM_E_NOT_FOUND) Object cannot be found.
    I have tried:
    winmgmt /resyncperf
    winmgmt /verifyrepository
    winmgmt /salvagerepository
    winmgmt /resetrepository
    I have also tried registering the mof files with
    MOFCOMP <FileName.mof>
    Lastly, I even disabled the WMI service, renamed the Repository folder, and had it rebuild the repository.
    I got stuck on re registering the 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM' (I think it is in the Components section in Administrative tools), as I could not find clear instructions on exactly how to go about it.
    Chkdsk found no errors
    Sfc /scannow found no errors
    winmgmt /verifyrepository finds no errors.
    I'm hoping someone here might be able to steer me in the right direction to get this resolved, as I do not want to rebuild a server that hosts a connection broker and has over 100 user profiles on it, as well as some very annoying and finniky LOB apps installed,
    which will have to manually be reinstalled for each profile.

    Hi,
    Here is a blog regarding how to fix WMI issue might be useful to you:
    Fixing WMI issues Using Batch Script
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/6887.fixing-wmi-issues-using-batch-script.aspx
    In addition, you mentioned Remote Desktop Servers are in a cluster setup, would you tell us how did you create the cluster?
    As far as I know, with RD Connection Broker, we don’t need to create a cluster but just add multiple RD session hosts into one collection, then RD connection Broker would redirect sessions automatically.
    Best Regards,
    Amy

  • Cambiar ORACLE_SID en Oraclde 10G Express Edition

    He instalado Oracle 10g Express Edition en linux, fedora core 4

    Translation:
    I've installed Oracle 10g Express Edition on linux, fedora core 4
    How can I change the db name? The default db SID is XE.
    No va ser facil porque esto requiere muchos cambios. Pero si le es tan necesario hacerlo, use la informacion de este sitio de Tom Kyte:
    http://asktom.oracle.com/pls/ask/f?p=4950:8:13550517373929429008::NO::F4950_P8_DISPLAYID,F4950_P8_CRITERIA:318216852435
    Creo que lo que Tom explica es cambiar el SID de Oracle 8i en linux. Asi que no se si habra diferencia con su XE.
    Beuna suerte

    Hola scj2000-
    Muchas gracias por visitar nuestro foro en búsqueda de una explicación al cargo que recién apareció en tu tarjeta de crédito.
    Entiendo su preocupación, ya que cualquier cargo extraño que aparece en un estado de cuenta puede ser alarmante. En este caso, el último cargo que puede recuperar usando el correo electrónico que usaste para registrarte al foro, refleja que se renovó un antivirus Kaspersky. Esta autorización nos diste cuando realizaste la compra de tu Lenovo, desde entonces se renueva automáticamente la licencia de antivirus.
    Las otras publicaciones que has leído, indican lo mismo. Un cargo que se ha hecho a la tarjeta de crédito que se presentó durante la compra con la autorización del cliente.
    Lamento mucho la confusión y espero esto aclare tu duda.
    Atentamente,

  • Problemas con Photoshop CC 2014 y SONY UP-DR200 funcionando con windows 8.1.

    Hola.

    So after two months of running Photoshop CC 2014 without a graphics card it has now started messing up - large transparent blocks in the middle of my page. Sony are completely useless. Graphic drivers haven't been updated since last year. Every time I try to email them the site 'crashes' and it doesn't send. I have now learnt that the brand new laptop I bought in May 2013 got discontinued along with every other Vaio laptop in Feburary 2014. I am so fed up and have no idea what to do now. Any suggestions GREATLY appreciated.

  • Tomcat doesn't send all data while Jetty does

    I am using the following code in a servlet to send data back to a J2ME application:
            data = myResp.serialize();
            response.setStatus(response.SC_OK);
            response.setContentLength(data.length);
            response.setContentType("application/octet-stream");
            OutputStream os = response.getOutputStream();
            os.write(data);
            os.flush();
            os.close();
                   .and the following input code on the J2ME side (simplified a bit):
            int len = (int)conn.getLength();
            in = conn.openInputStream();
            _data = new byte[len];
            while (total < len) {
              total += in.read(_data, total, len - total);
                   .Using Jetty as the servlet container, I am able to SEND and RECEIVE data without any problem. Using Tomcat, I usually get a -1 on the CLIENT side when trying to read the data. The CLIENT gets the length from the content header but there doesn't seem to be any data.
    Simply put, what is wrong ? Is there a setting in Tomcat that I should look at ? Why would Jetty work with this code and not Tomcat ? This seems like simple standard stuff.
    Thanks
    =Alan=

    You should never explicitly close the ServletOutputSteam. The J2EE container will do that for you. You can still do the flush, but try it without the close.

    6 Gb RAM
    1 Gb AMD RADEON HD 6670
    AMD PHENOM II x6 nucleos 3.2 GHz
    S.O.: windows 8 PRO x64
    saludos y gracias.
