Headder level constions in Pricing Procedure.

Hi SAPERS,
Please provide me the steps needed to create Header condition type in MM Pricing Procedure. When I am trying to create the Condition type by check the Header condition, System is giving a warning message like Access Sequence is not supporting to this creation. Is there any Header level access sequence to be defined?
Thanks in Advance.

Hi Mister.
Header level cond. dont have any access seq.
since they r header level conditions they cant be determined using condition records.
hence dont give any access seq. there and keep it blank.
Hope this helps or revert.

  • Explain the Pricing Procedure

    Hi Friends
Explain how the pricing is determined for an item, starting from the sales order
Discuss the full cycle also make a mention  on  the Condition type controls, and Maintain pricing procedure controls.
Kindly explain it with an example.
    Thanks

Pricing Procedure is indeed an heart of SD module, reason being if everything else is working fine, but price is not being calculated correctly, the purpose of billing fails.
An Overview of Determination & Configuration of Pricing Procedure is as follows:
In SD, Pricing Procedure is determined based on Sales Area (Sales Organization + Distribution Centre + Division) + Customer Pricing Procedure + Document Pricing Procedure. Sales Area is determined in Sales Order Header Level. Customer Pricing Procedure is determined from Customer Master. Document Pricing Procedure is determined from Sales Document Type / Billing Type (if configured). Once the pricing procedure is determined, Condition records are fetched. If appropriate condition records are found, the price is determined. If Mandatory pricing condition is missing, system will through an error message.
In SD, the steps to configure Pricing procedure are as under:
    Step 1:
Condition table: If existing condition table meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition table. Considering the requirement for new condition table, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Pricing Control -> Condition Table (select the required fields combination, which will store condition record).
    Step 2:
Access Sequence: If existing access sequence meets the requirement, we need not create a new access sequence. Considering the requirement for new sequence, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Pricing Control -> Access Sequence (Access sequence is made up of Accesses (Tables) & the order of priority in which it is to be accessed. Here we assign the condition table to access sequence.
    Step 3:
Condition Type: If existing condition type meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition type. Considering the requirement for new condition type, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Pricing Control -> Condition Type. It is always recommended to copy an existing similar condition type & make the neccessary changes. Here we assign Access sequence to Condition type.
    Step 4:
    a. Pricing Procedure: It is recommended to copy a similar pricing procedure & make the neccesary changes in new pricing procedure. Pricing Procedure is a set of condition type & arranged in the sequence in which it has to perform the calculation. Considering the requirement for new Pricing Procedure, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Pricing Control -> Pricing Procedure --> Maintain Pricing Procedure.
    b. Pricing Procedure: After maintaining the pricing procedure the next step will be determination of pricing procedure. Configuration for determining pricing procedure in SPRO is as follows: IMG -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Pricing Control -> Pricing Procedure --> Determine Pricing Procedure.
Step 5: Condition record: Condition record is a master data, which is required to be maintained by Core team / person responsible from the client. During new implementation, the condition records can be uploaded using tools like SCAT, LSMW, etc.

  • Pricing procedure execution...

    Hi Folks,
How SAP reads the pricing procedure..
    Example
    Con.Type      Requirement        Routine
    ZSAA            601                     901
    ZSAB            602                     902
Doubt 1: -Is system reads this pricing procedure line by line or coulmn by column?, In the debug we noticed it goes column by colmun? why?
Doubt 2: - I want to know the value found for ZSAA during the execution of 602 requirement. Example scenario is if ZSAA is more than 100$ don't execute ZSAB.

  • How to design a Pricing Procedure with both MWST and MWSI in it ?

    Hi there.
My business requirement dictates that I can have both Tax inclusive(PR01/MWSI) and Tax Exclusive(PR00/MWST) items within a Single Sales Order.
I know that One pricing procedure can only be assigned to 1 Document Type. So,
Has anyone successfully created a Pricing Procedure that incorporates both the MWST and MWSI tax components ? If so, could you post a sample of the pricing procedure in order for me to understand how I should group the discounts/surcharges and reflect the Subtotals, as well as incorporate the MWST and MWSI all within a single Pricing Procedure ? I will also need to include the PR01 and PR00 conditions into the procedure too, right ?
Really really hope someone with the experience, can aid me on this. I cannot find any relevant materials on this matter, both in OSS Sapnotes and within this forum.
    regards

  • Multiple Variant pricing conditions in a Pricing Procedure

    Hi,
I have a scenario regarding variant configuration pricing in a sale order. I need to attach multiple pricing condition like VA00 in my pricing procedure .
A material M1 has many characteristics under the category Basic and Special for example.
Under Basic I have the following characteritics and its respective values maintained in VK11
    B001- Basic Spec 1  USD 100
    B002- Basic Spec 2  USD 200
    B003- Basic Spec 3  USD 300
    Likewise under special category ,
    S001- Special Spec 1- USD 500
    S002- Special Spec 2- USD 1000
In the pricing procedure the varaint condition VA00 will carry the price of the characteristics. My requirement is as follows
    1. The prices of the Basic spec should be added first and later the special spec
    VA00- Basic Spec 1      100
    VA00- Basic Spec 2      200
    VA00- Basic Spec 3      300
Sub total Basic spec Value  600
    VA00 Special Spec 1    500
total basic and special spec - 1100
The problem I faced in the above format was that the pricing procedure will allow only one entry of VA00. To over come that I copied the condition VA00 and named a new one, for e.g, ZVSP.
Now when I use the condition ZVSP, it does not fetch the values like VA00.
Could any one suggest a method in which I can introduce varaint conditions in multiple levels in a pricing procedure.
    Thanks and regards
    Rasheed

    Hi,
When you copied the VA00 condition type, did you also copy the associated access sequences? Your new condition type should have an access sequence with an access that transfers the value of the doc. field KOMP-VARCOND into the condition VARCOND; use transaction V/07 to check this.

  • Override or extend Pricing Procedure Determination

We have a requirement to hide some Condition Types in opportunity's position conditions tab depending on Z field in Business Partner data. The best way to archieve this would be changing price determination procedure depending on business partner data. But standard allows only combination of Sales org, Dis. Chain, division, document type and customer master values to be used.  Is there any BAdi to do this?
Maybe there are any alternatives to change the set of conditions in the position depending on business partner's data.
Thanks in advance for any hint on this problem.

    Hi,
for the CRM Web client UI there is a BADI to hide conditions on a UI level: CRM_PRCIL_ENHANCEMENT.
Another option is to use the authority levels in the pricing procedure to restrict the display of condition lines. The BADI CRM_PRIDOC_COMH_BADI could be used to assign the relevant authority levels for display and edit. The basic concept of the authority levels is described by SAP note 717670.

To call a separate Pricing Procedure for Credit Memo Request, ensure that Document Pricing Procedure for Contract and Credit Memo Request are different. Based on Different Document Pricing Procedure, it is possible to configure to determine separate pricing procedure.
+In SD, Pricing Procedure is determined (T.Code: OVKK) based on Sales Area (Sales Organization + Distribution Centre + Division) + Customer Pricing Procedure + Document Pricing Procedure. Sales Area is determined in Sales Order Header Level. Customer Pricing Procedure is determined from Customer Master. Document Pricing Procedure is determined from Sales Document Type / Billing Type (if configured).+
Through copy control detting, maintain Pricing Type as 'B' for carrying out new price.

  • About pricing procedure

I am new to SD. Currently, I'm trying to write a pricing procedure.
    I have the following questions:
    1. is it common for users to input condition types themselves? There are some condtions like handling charges, which are not applied to all cases. So is it general practice to have some condition types entered by users manually?
    2. I have a mandatory condition type, which is not displayed in the conditions in pricing of SD document if the value is zero. How can I set a condition to show even though it is zero? (in my case, although it is not shown, but there is an error prompting user for missing mandatory condition) I just want make it shown even though the value is zero.
    Thanks!

  • Is it possible to have different pricing procedure at sales order level and

    Hi SD Gurus,
Is it possible to have different pricing procedure at sales order level and invoice level?
if is it possible to have different pricing procedures at sales order level and invoice level could you please tell me the steps how i have to do?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Nivas

    Hi,
Yes you can able to map two different pricing procedure for order and invoice level
You can achieve it through by document pricing procedure and assign it in document type
In VOV8  assign document pricing procedure A for order type

  • Problem in pricing procedure of scheduling agreement

    Dear All,
I am creating a scheduling agreement, when i am giving condition type at item level a message occur "Condition type XXXX is not in procedure A M ZB1002" Message no. VK045.
I am not able to understand from where this pricing procedure is picking. But in Define Schema Determination the pricing procedure is different, it is ZBLOSR.
The same case is happening in info record while maintaining condition type, the same pricing procedure ZB1002 is picking up by default. I want to change the pricing procedure.
    Please help.....
