Header & item lines on the same ODS

Hello
I have an ODS with Header line and Item lines of quotation .
In this ODS, I have some characteristics like User Status which can be different between header line and item line
EX : "Open" on header line and "In process" on item line
My report must have one line by quotation
So how can I do to get the status of header line only in my report ?

Hi,
One way to do is to add to data fields in the DSO
-> populate the first one with the header value
->Second one with the item value.
You can use the routine to populate the values based on if it is related to header or item.
So in one record you will have the values of both or one of them depending on the scenario.
Show these two different columns in the report.

In Swing, most components will accept text in the html format

We use an external tool (linked to SAP WM) to prepare the orders.
When I have a order with two lines with the same item (because a line free of charge) and when I generate the Transfer Orders, I have two lines and we have to go twice to the picking...
Could you give me a solution to group the lines?

You have various options here depending on whether you have other middleware in place and what skills you have on-site.
How are you transferring the information to your WMS system?? Idocs / BAPI / Files ???

Print data in two line in the same column

In a tabular Report I want to print a column (eg:Description,) in two lines in the same cell.
Since the description is too long. Is it possible in report 6i. Or any other solution for this?

For the Description field set the Vertical Elasticity to EXPAND. Then it will adjust automatically based on data.

I call this method in a timer tick event every second.
But if the variable string lineToPost is
identical it will not send it again. But it might be a situation that the lineToPost may
contain the exact same word inside but the whole line is not the same so i want to send it.

I'm using a bool variable
so it will not send the same line over and over again.
I would like it to send the line(s) once, regardless if there is only one line or if there are more than one line.
The problem is the way I'm using the bool now,
it will send a line and then will never send any other line at all.

Im updating the text/lines every 10 seconds .
And calling the PostMessage method every second.
And when im calling the PostMessage it should it should call inside the method PostFacebookWall only when the whole line is not identical to other lines and if a word in words is exist in any line.
The variable WorldList.words is string[] contain some words(string).
For example if i have this line:
"hello this is a test"
So the word test exist in words so post this line.
Then if i have another line :
"hello this is a test" so in dont post this line since its the same.
But if i have a line: "hi this is a test" the word test exist but the whole line is not the same as above so post this line.
And of course if there is a different line with a word that exist like: "my name"
Then post this line too.

Can we have 2 items poiting to the same VO?

We are changing some seeded pages in iProcurement. We need to change some messagestyledtext readonly items into updateable and LOV driven items.
I don't want to touch the seeded items.
So, can I create my own items through personalization, point them to the same VO attributes that Oracle's seeded items were looking at? Then I would hide Oracle's items through personalization.
This doesn't make a lot of sense to me because which item would end up populating the VO attribute? The custom or the Standard? Wouldn't there be a conflict?
But I read somewhere in this form that this can be done. The example given was that with formvalue items and messagestyletext items.
Appreciate anyone's comments.

Read only fields will not post the values. So you can have another updateable item pointing to the same view attribute. Formvalues are used when you just want to post the values but leave the messagestyledtext for display. In your case you can use personalization and hide the messagestyledtext and add the text input or lov item pointing to the same view attribute.

Multiple drop down menu items to populate the same separate text box. How can I do it?

In Acrobat Pro X, I've figured out how to create a drop down menu with items that will populate a separate text box, but how can I get multiple menu items to populate the same text box. For example. My drop down menu has three items cat, dog, mouse. I choose cat and it appears in my separate text box (hooray). Next, I choose 'dog' from the same menu. I would like it to appear in the same text box along with my previous selection 'cat.' Is this possible? I'm very new to Java Script, any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

1. Create IP SLA/Track for both internet link
2. Break your LAN subnet into 2 smaller subnet
3. Create route map, Match with 1 subnet & route the traffic towards 1st internet link
route-map General_Internet_Traffic permit 10
match ip address 115
set ip next-hop verify-availability 10.1.1.1 track 1
set ip next-hop verify-availability 11.1.1.1 track 2
4. Create route map, Match with 2 subnet & route the traffic towards 2nd internet link
5. Configure NATing/PATing over the interface, selecting by route-map

Intercompany billing has 2 line items referring to the same salesorder item

Hi All,
I am posting Intercompany billing documents using Idocs. I am using the standard function module that creates INVOICE IDocs, but these Idocs are failing with error text "Document contains same order item more that once".
The problem lies here, the PO that is been used is a STO (Scheduling Agreement) and the inter company billing the line item has the same material repeated twice but change in the quantity field. So, when I am posting document using Idocs we come across a segment E1EDP01 which has your quantity, weight, line item number and other fields. This segment is getting repeated twice with two different outbound deliveries.
So, I think the solution is a mixture of both functional and technical....
So, what I am planning to do here is for this particular material when ever it comes across duplicate entries add all the quantities fields and other numerical fields in the user exit and then refresh the internal table and then enter new entries. This could be done, but I don't know what could be the functional implications if these changes are made.
Request you all to let me know what exactly needs to done in order to avoid these scenarios.

I found a very important SAP Note 103051, details are below.
An IDoc processed by function module IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MM (of category INVOIC01) must not refer to the same purchase order item in several invoice items. This is also valid if for a goods receipt-related invoice verification several delivery notes belong to the same purchase order item.
Depending on the system settings and the situation, various error messages can occur (for example, FD240 'Order item ... selected more than once' or M8050 'Balance not zero: & debits: & credits: &').
In this situation module IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM generates error message M8321 'Document contains same order item more than once'.
For example, this situation occurs if you work with individual batch valuation and the SD billing document executes a batch split for different batches which belong to the same purchase order item and delivery.

This is because of the program design.
Solution
There is no solution for IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MM.
Module IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM (only as of Release 4.0) for the logistics invoice verification can distinguish different goods receipts by means of the delivery note number. For this purpose, GR-related invoice verification must be active.
Owing to this symptom, billing documents for single batch valuation with batch split cannot be settled in MM-EDI inbound processing. The settlement generates exactly the situation described (several invoice items for the same purchase order item). In this case, the only solution is to deactivate the billing of the batch sub-items in SD Customizing and to calculate the main item only.

Invoices matched to the same line on the same PO going on Hold

We have started to setup some of our suppliers to use iSupplier, to automate the process of shipping and invoicing. With some suppliers, once they create the ASBN/Invoice the goods may take up to 30 days for delivery. Invoice are being automatically imported into AP to be matched to the same open PO (same line and item). When Invoice validation runs (nightly), these Invoices are going on hold as at any point in time we may not have received the total goods for which we are invoicing, even though we may have received the total matching to the first invoice. This is intended functionality that tolerance level checks are only made at the PO Shipment level and not at the Distribution level. However, the intention of introducing iSupplier was to automate the invoicing process does anyone know if there's a way of avoiding having this invoices go on hold ?

Check that you still have the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* Make sure that you have the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
* Check in "View > Toolbars > Customize" that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize window onto the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" then click the "Restore Default Set" button
You can only move the content from a toolbar onto other toolbars if all toolbars support that feature. You need to check that in the options of each toolbar.

Keeping heading and detail on the same page

Hi, I have a report with a group header section and a detail section. How can I keep the heading section and all the detail section on the same page without starting each group on a new page?
The detail section will have either 2 or 3 records with some of the objects set to grow if the data doesn't fit on one line. This results in several changes of group appearing on the same page which is what I want. However, what I don't want is the header section on one page with the detail section on the next, or the header and some of the detail records on one page with the rest of the detail records on the next. What I would like is the report to start a new page if the header and all the detail records don't fit on the same page but without starting a new page for every group change. How can I achieve this?

you can put the group header and details into a sub report on the old group header section.
then hide the details section

Change the colour of lines in the same string indicator.

Hi everybody,
I'm getting crazy, because I'm looking for the way to change the colour of
the lines I want in the same string indicator.
I'm doing an application to control an instrument by serial port, and I'm
concatenating the lines that this instrument gives me, but there is some
line that I would want to change its colour, because there has been an alarm,
for instance. And I only can change all the string.
Is there any way to do this? I don't know.

The fourth step is a little bit difficult to understand, but what I've done
is all the three first steps, and in the fourth one I've made an array (I32)
of the lines that I don't want to highlight and connect it to Disabled �tems.

Substitute from another line in the same document - MIRO & FB60

Would any of you please advise me on how to achieve the automatic substitution of certain field information from another line item in the same accounting document. For example,
Dr Vendor
Cr P & L
Dr Balance sheet (automatic)
On the Line item "balance sheet", I would like the logic to search withint the same document to copy attribute from the first line item 'Vendor'. Please advise me on how to achieve this on the following both scenario
- MIRO (Logistic Invoice Verification)
- FB60 (Finance Invoie)
