Hi,
The header mapping is made available in the receiver agreement. It is required in the IDoc adapter, for example, because the IDoc adapter does not know any communication parties.
After header mapping, the adapter must also convert the address to an external protocol.

Two ways you can handle this process.
Process 1:
In Routing define operation 0020 as subcontracting
Create other plant as Vendor and assign the same along with revelent cost element and convertion rate(Net price) per unit.
If any raw material needs to be issued for this external operation then assign the material for the operation in routing.
When order is created system will generate Purchase requsition for the external operation which subseqently needs to be converted to purchase order.
Goods issue to purchase order using MB1B - 541 Movement type if raw material needs to be issued.
Once external operation is completed then do GR against the PO.
PO conversion cost and material issue cost will hit on to the production order.
Do confirmation of the external operation in Plant1.
Advantages : Proper tracking of external operation and cost accounting on production order
Process 2:
In Routing screen as displayed below for operation 0020 maintain the work center and plant2, provided this work center to be created in plant2
As like operation 0010, confirm operation 0020. In system it will display that operation is done in Plant2 work center. According to the activity rates maintained in KP26 for the combination of cost center and activity, cost will hit onto the order
In COOIS -Operation reports system will display that operation in done in plant 2.
Advantage: Simple process as suggested by experts. You will not have any tracking mechanism like process 1.
Now decide based on client business requirement which process to be followed.

I think we can do by using Content Objects or XPATH in Header mapping, but the structure is not displaying in the Content Objects or XPATH in Header map in order to provide the condition.
I need to do anything else to see the structure over there?

If you get the following msg while selecting the BS in Receiver Determination
"Message interface does not exist in any software components installed on this business system"
1) Open ID-----Double click on Business system that which u are using in the scenario
2) Check whether you are able to see the SWC in the Othere attributes TAB
3) If it is not there means goto SLD----Open the Technical System of R/3 by choosing Web as ABAp type
4) Click on Installed Products TAB
5) Click on Add New product and add your Product of the SWC whcih you are using for developement and Save it
6) Then goto Business systems TAB in the same Technical systems window and click on the Business System appears in the window.
7) Click on Installed products and Check the check box of your Product and then finally save that.
Now you should be able to see the SWC in the Othere attributes TAB in ID

Sending IDoc Batches to SAP: Issue with Header Mapping for SNDPRN
We are sending batched IDocs from XI to SAP. We need the individual IDocs to reflect different SNDPRN values. Our mapping creates the different IDoc EDI_DC40 record correctly with different SNDPRN values. However, XI wipes out the SNDPRN values in the payload. When we define Header mapping to get the Sender Party as the XPath to the SNDPRN in the payload, then the header mapping errors out because the XPath returns multiple values.
I wanted to know if anyone has successfully implemented sending IDoc batches to SAP from XI with different SNDPRN values.

The IDoc adapter does not make any special demands on mapping. The IDoc adapter must simply be provided with an IDoc XML structure at the Integration Server outbound channel. This either already exists or must be generated by using a mapping.
If the IDoc XML structure contains a control record, it is deleted and created again by the IDoc adapter. If you want to include additional values in the control record, you must select the Apply Control Record Values from Payload checkbox in the parameters in the communication channel and provide a corresponding mapping for the values.
You can include the values from the following fields in your IDoc control record:

VijayIt's also important to 'prep' the excel file prior to connecting to it.
Give the data tab a meaningful name
Make sure the column headers are unique and that every column has a header
Delete any blank tabs
If you have trouble with Excel changing the data type of a field (say, a social security number you want to be a string value rather than a number so you don't lose leading zero) an alternative would be to save the spreadsheet file as a CSV, create a schema.ini to specify the data types for each column (example below) and use the same steps to connect except instead of choosing Excel 8.0, scroll to the bottom and choose Text. You have to make sure the CSV file is in the same folder as the schema.ini file that defines the columns.

I would like magic of course. However, in this case I want something special: my authentication provider uses special means and contents of headers, cookies and service from external identity management systems to determine the user's identity.
I do not want the application to present the login dialog! I want to derive the identity and the fact that the user is logged in from whatever the authentication provider returns in terms of Subject.
Ideally, the flow is something like:
- user accesses an unprotected resource - resource is shown, no interaction with authentication provider
- user presses a link or button that takes him/her to a protected resource
- the authentication provider is contacted to work with the identity asserter to establish the identity of the current user and create a subject object for this user
- the application can access the subject and principals
- ADF Security recognizes the identity and the roles (based on the principals) and coordinates access based on this.
the authentication method is client certificate. presumably this prompts WebLogic/OPS to use an identity asserter to work with custom headers and cookies ("... when you configure a web application to use CLIENT-CERT authentication. In this case, WebLogic can perform identity assertion based on values from request headers and cookies. If the header name or cookie name matches the active token type for the provider, the value is passed to the provider."). No login form should be presented to the user, as all information required to perform the authentication is already available.
I am trying to understand what I must do to have the ADF application adopt the subject set by the authentication provider - if anything?!

I cannot get automounting of AFP Share points to work at all. Not surprisingly, since it seems almost impossible to get even basic SLS services working at all.
Is there anywhere a simple step-by-step to enable auto mounting of afp share points on server "my server" for user xyzzy?
There are many, many discussions on the subject all over this board. I (think) I have read them all and tried all the suggestions, including examining the detailed OD records in WGM.
What would be helpful for me is a simple:
1. Load WGM
2. Load SA and Share a drive like this:
a. Select Volumes...do this...
b. Select Share points...do this...
c. Permissions...
etc.....
Also, is there a magic incantation and/or ancient SNS ritual I need to perform? There is a local voodoo shop in my area and would gladly purchase required eye-of-lizard... etc...

Perhaps it is misplaced expectations with regard to what I would expect to see. The network/server I'm working with is in my own private sandbox, primarily so that I can learn how to manage an Apple server, but also to support my personal and business needs as well.
From the personal aspect here is how I would expect it to work:
My Aperture photo library resides on a share of my server. The sub-folder where it is saved in on a volume called Media. I have several shares located on that volume; Aperture, iTunes, etc...
When I log into my network from my MBP (10.6 client) and plug in my iPhone, invariably Aperture loads always asking to locate my Aperture Library. My goal would then be that as soon as I'm logged in, the folder would be mounted, and Aperture would always load with me having to connect to the drive.
So that's the context. I have only Macs, and I don't intend to have any WIndows boxes, but will have an CentOS installation to host an Oracle server.
I followed your advice exactly for a managed setting using WGM, with the exception that I did not add the shares to the Login Items of my local account, which, to my thinking, would defeat the purpose of having a managed share. My UN/PW for the local and networked users are identical, and I've already successfully bound my account to this computer, using my Network account creds.
The computer has other "test" users on it as well. I'm not using Authenticate Binding, so perhaps that's the issue, because it appears that there is only one binding per computer. I will try that next.

5. Give the Long Description as ZIVY Info Area.

1. Select the InfoArea just created ZIVY_Iarea.
2. Right click the mouse pointer and select the option Create InfoObject Catalog

Receiver Agreement : Header Mapping
Hi,
Does anyone know how to retreive the information contained in the Header Mapping of the Receiver Agreement? I want to be able to extract the information using Java and plug it in a field when the mapping is executed.

Thanks but that wasn't exacly my question.There is a section in the receiver Agreement where it is written Header Mapping. Undern it, there are 4 check box (sender party, sender service, receiver party and receiver service). I Added information in the one marked receiver service but I can't retreive it with Java. I keep getting the one I defined in the service field under receiver.
I don't know if I explained it better this time.

Hello all We are implementing e-recruiting 603 ehp4 in standalone scenario. By customer requirements, the "recruiter" role was assigned to all manager therefore the standard service "Create requisition request" from MSS is not in use. So structural
