Header not included in PDF??

Why when I share a spreadsheet as a PDF, it does not include the header or footer?

Yes, that seems to be an oversight in the Export code. You will get the header and footer fields if you Print to PDF instead of exporting. There is little difference in the final product otherwise, as far as I can tell.

Check box results are not included in PDF download.

I created a form that includes 300 plus checkboxes and imported the form into FC.
I can see the form results in the excel spreadsheet and the table of results. But when I click the download PDF, none of the check box answers are downloaded. The text box results are visible on the pdf, but not the check-box results...
I want to download a completed PDF that looks like the original document... Here's a link to the pdf form...

Thanks for letting me know that there is a 'bug' and not a problem on my end.
However, two weeks for resolution is a long time to wait when your working on a form project for a client. I just signed up for my first month on Forms Central and after a frustrating week of forum and one on one support, I learn that this online or "cloud" system couldn't process the PDF form.
My concern is this... I found a possible solution to my need to obtain results from a pdf form, but is it reliable? I am currently a week behind on a project and will be even further behind if I use FC to complete the project.
I'm questioning whether I need FC or not. Couldn't I email the fillable pdf form to the user and they complete it and email it back to me... I can save the completed form and export the data????
I'm questioning the reliability and value of FC. If I could speak with support via telephone, then I wouldn't be behind on this project.. If you were in my shoes, how would you feel right now?
Yes... I am a bit frustrated that my first FC form project doesn't work. I believe my concerns are reasonable. What can be done about the two week timeframe? This isn't what I was expecting.
I would like to speak with an Adobe support rep via telephone about this issue.

How to turn of specific spot (pantone) colors before i export the document to pdf and these selected colours will not included in pdf...

Hello, i have one question. Please help me with indesign... i have prepared photoshop document with pantone color in channel pallete... This photoshop file i have imported in indesign document and when i export it from indesign to pdf so color (pantone) overlay over cmyk... i have pantone color just for parcial paint not for proof for customer.
For example: i need to disable all pantone colors before i export document into pdf file. It is very clear process what i need to do but without find some solution. I know about pallete preview in window/output/... in indesign but this do not fix it! Please help.

Ok... i understand to overprint process... i have spot color (pantone) in imported image because of preparation to partial varnish... but i'm wondering how can i export the indesign document to pdf without the spot color which recolores my design recolored and i can't it send to customer...
Only way how can i figure out is to delete spot channel in photoshop? This is very annoying and useless prosess

PDF output not including links

I've searched these forums and read posts that the problem with links not working in PDF output should have been fixed in version 6. I'm using RoboHelp HTML 8 (with all suggested patches), but when I create a PDF output it has no links in body text or in the Related Topics list at the end of each topic. I went into the PDF settings dialog box and checked for the PDF to include links, but it's not working.
I'm developing in Windows XP creating WebHelpPro.
What must I do to get links to work in a PDF (other than on the Bookmarks tab)?

Out of curiosity, what do the links point to?
My thought is perhaps it is a type of link that isn't really capable of being transferred to PDF.

Saved pdf file does not include filled in text

i am using adobe acrobat pro; trail version. I can fill in a fillable pdf file but after saving the file and then emailing the filethe received email attachment does not include my text included in the pdf form?

It most likely does include it in the form, but the PDF viewer that's being used does not display it. If the user were to use Adobe Reader/Acrobat, the form data should appear as expected. The default PDF viewer that mobile devices and some browsers use don't have sufficient support for forms.
If the recipient does not need to interact with the form fields, you can flatten the form before sending it out. This converts the form field appearances to regular page content, so it will very likely appear fine in most any PDF viewer. Post again if you need help flattening form fields using Acrobat.

Generate PDF not including an image

The XDP version of a form displays correctly but when the generate PDF step in a process is done one of the images is not included. In designer the display as PFD tab works fine. I've recreated the PDF from the XPD, I've removed the image fragment, and even included the images not as a fragement but nothing.Any ideas?

I worked around this problem by finding a form that the image was working on adn copied it to the one that was not working. NOt a real fix but it is workign now.

TOC does not include hyperlinks in export to PDF

I created an eBooklet in Pages, but when I export it to PDF, the TOC does not include hyperlinks to the pages. There aren't any signs of the TOC including links in the original Pages document, either.

The iWork '09 DVD can be had at Amazon. You will need to apply the Apple IWork 9.3 updater to bring the applications to their last revision, and compatibility with Mavericks and Yosemite. The help menu in Pages ’09 v4.3 has a link to the that specific PDF user guide. The Number '09 guide is there too. The Keynote '09 PDF User Guide is here.
Pages v5 documents are not directly backwards compatible with Pages '09. You will need to export the content as Pages '09. Since Pages v5.5.1 is lacking nearly 100+ features that were in Pages '09, you must take care with opening Pages '09 documents in Pages v5. It will filter out content that it does not support (e.g. linked text boxes).
Any double-click on a Pages document with both applications installed, will default to opening in Pages v5.5.1. Deliberate effort is required to open Pages '09 documents, either by the Pages '09 file chooser, or a two-finger tap (on your Air) to bring up the secondary menu that has Open with > Pages (4.3) on it.

Why does IBA not include the table of contents when exporting to PDF?

Why does IBA not include the table of contents when exporting in PDF? I can seee the TOC in iBooks Author but when I want to see what it looks like in a regular PDF, the TOC does not show up.

Strange question you ask here. Not sure why that is relevant to "why" IBA won't publish a table of contents in a PDF.
But since eyou asked, it's simple, I want to author some books in IBA and also see what they look like - completed - in PDF. Again, any suggestions as to a work around so I don't have to cut and paste back into Pages?

INCLUDE TEXT (header notes)

I'm trying to write a header note in a sapscript form (using SE71).
I am not allowed to write code outside the form, so I can't use FM <b>READ_TEXT</b> and pass the obtained text to a variable.
I've been trying:
INCLUDE &VAR& OBJECT VBBK ID 0002
where
&VAR&
contains the delivery number. But nothing appears.
What am I doing wrong?

You wants to add the Header text which is there in the delivery doc header, then
Double click on that text and goes to text ediotr
Goto _>header
see the parameters like OBJECTNAME,OBJECT,ID and Language
you have to use all this 4 parameters in the text in the include statement see the sample
/: INCLUDE &VBDKL-TDNAME& OBJECT VBBK ID 0001 NEW-PARAGRAPH HT
Here
&VBDKL-TDNAME& is the OBJECTNAME (nothing but delivery doc number)
VBBK = Object
0001 = ID
HT = paragraph
So write as above and see

Can I set up a css for all page of the website, without include it in <head> ?
I have this pages structure

So, the css link:

is included into the script /head.php.
I don't need php interpretation live, the only thing that I need is to set a css for all pages without include it in <head>. In fact, I work to single pages like an editor (paste and copy from word document, insert image, set title and meta description ecc.) and for that I need that the styles are applied to pages.

Reports using xsl:fo - include external pdf

Not strictly an Apex question, but posted here as the application is in Apex.
I have a report layout defined in xsl:fo in my application. As part of this report, I also need to pick up an external pdf file (scanned document) and print with the report. I have added the external document to my fo definition as follows:

If I do not have the above, my report generates 100%. When I include the external pdf, however, the report fails with a "File does not begin with '%PDF-'" error. I have opened the external pdf with Notepad, and it does start with '%PDF-'
Any suggestions?

After much browbeating and head scratching, I now know where the problem is - but not yet how to fix it. The apex_fop supplied with apex does not contain the java packages which enable the use of xsl:fox extensions. Either a new fop distribution, with servlet, must be created, or the apex_fop distribution must be updated to include the necessary java packages.

Header and Footer in PDF is lost when exporting application

When generating an export script to migrate an application, headers and footer you include in your report definition are lost, that contents are not included in the script.
Any workaround?

I need your help:
I enhanced 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN to include UserID / DateTime information when Export to PDF and excel. I added Info Filed in this template and added this new web item in BUTTON_TOOLBAR_2 Button 3 (Print Version) and 4 (Export to Excel). UserID / DateTime displayng on web is fine and Exporting to Excel is fine also. Only problem is when clicking on Print Version the UserID / DateTime information is not showing in PDF. I created a new button to Export PDFand it's working fine. Somehow just this toolbar button Print Version has issue with Info Field.
Can anyone help me to resolve this problem?

I have tried using the separate print template method but didn't manage to get it to work (and not very excited about the concept anyway as it means even more web templates to manage).
But I got it to work without using a separate print template, by inserting the InfoField as part of the Filter Area (because I didnt want it displayed in the face of the Web when the report was run initially). But it seems to be that as long as the InfoField is displayed somewhere in the Web, then it can be exported/printed. Having done the data binding step, obviously.
You mind if I pick your brains (offline) re the print template method?
