Header text on an angle/cell wall slant?

In xcel you can orient the text header to be on angle to save room (ie: if column header is named "Number of Guests" and row cell answer is "3") and the cell walls slant accordingly. I can't seem to get this to work in Numbers. Otherwise my spreadsheet goes on for days.

1) Resize the Table and the window to fit the Header text
2) Use Page Protection option so that the Text does not overflow.
3) Check with our Functional Consultant , how many lines the Header and Item Text will be max , based on whichu change the layout.

Cell calculations showing header text rather than data

This has to be simple, but I am stumped.
I have added header text to a SS. Now when I attempt to add a calculation to a cell in the SS Numbers is showing the text in the calculation rather than the cell data or cell location.
How do I stop this? Just want to see something like this: =F13-(E13*4)
but I get this
=On Hand Now test line-(Monthly Average test line*Cal. 212 West Jackson Street)
Numbers does put the the correct numeric result in the proper cell but I don't want to see the above.

TableView auto resize columns based on header text width or cell content

Is there a method on the tableview or tablecolumn to automatically resize based on the content of the hearder or data?
If not what approach can used used with JavaFX to calculate the string width based on the current font?

The table column size is inconsistent, I set the columns in the table view and the items in the initialize method. I execute a service and task from a button action that loads data into the list, if I don't reset the columns in the table view in the succeed method then each column is the same width regardless of the content in the cells. If I do reset the table columns in the succeed method then the columns are resized based on content.
I don't think it should be a requirement to reset the columns just to get the column widths to set based on the content in the cells. Is there a method on the table column or view that will resize the cells based on the cell content? I would prefer the largest value; column header content or the longest cell content for a column.

Hi! How can I change the header text direction to vertical?

I have many columns with big names, but I need small space for body cells, and I want to check all the table at a view ... So I want to change the direction of the header texts to "left vertical" or "right vertical".

I am using QTP 9.2 and Flex 3 add-in available from Adobe.
My application has flex Advanced datagrid object and I am
trying to read column names for the datagrid.
I have contacted developers and they told me that column
names for flex advanced datagrid are stored in "Header Text"
I have tried reading "Header Text" using

WD ABAP: Problem with Header text wrapping in Table Column

Hi,
I am unable to achieve Header Text wrapping for the TABLE columns. I have set the property "HeaderTextWrapping" to TRUE for each column and the "Fixed table layout" property has been set to TRUE.
Is there some property of the table/column I have to set to achieve this? Or does selection of a specific property remove option of HeaderText Wrapping?

Try increasing the width of column keeping other thing as it is as you have done. And yes check whether cell editor property wrapping is set true.

How to change "Details" column header text in AdvanceTable in AdvancedTable

You can get the handle to the Detail column by using the following:
UINode d = outerTable.getDetail();
However, as per OAF developer guide, it is not possible to change the label for the detail column. The devloper guide has the following:
"In accordance with BLAF guidelines, the Detail column header text for the detail disclosure column and the Show/Hide link texts within the cells of the detail disclosure column can not be modified."

Table column header text orientation

Hi ,
Is it possible using UI element TABLE or ALV component SALV_WD_TABLE to set the column header text orientation to 90 Degrees? Like in Excel if you right click on cell then go to format cells then go to alignment tab where you can set text orientation. I looked at cl_salv_wd_column_header and did not see method to do so.

Currently this is not possible.
If you do have a need to display (and I would probably emphasis display ) data in an Excel like manner, then consider using the Office control and supplying a formatted XML version of an Excel file to the control - then you can use all the Excel formatting capabilities to your heart's content.

Printing Header Text in Purchase Order

HI,
Actually I had the problem. A smart form has been developed for printing Purchase Order. Here in smartform a field has been declared to accept whatever the text had keyin in Header Text has to appear in Purchase Order. It is printing correctly until it is of Two paragraphs which consists of two or max three lines. Whenever it is exceeding these two paragraphs even a single word. It is printing something from the middle and in a reverse way. To get the clear picture I will give the example below.
Ex. I) This Purchase Order has been given.
 Delivery has to be make on time.
In the above example it is ok printing properly.
Ex. II) This Purchase Order has been given after
 verification.
 Delivery has to be make on time as scheduled.
 On Delay PO will be cancelled.
In this IInd example the output is showing as
Output: to be make on time as scheduled.
 verification.
 This Purchase Order has been given after
 On Delay PO will be cancelled
 Delivery has

hi,
Ofcourse, the field is a part of main window in Smart Forms. I will elaborate further, In Main window we declared one Table in the Tables Main Area there is a Row and in a Row there is a Cell in a cell we declared one Text Field which is taking that header text and printing it as output.

I found that in .xsd, It doesn't show the Dimension name , however it clears out the headers. Whatever I put in header cells from back end by modifying the xls,

The system does not print header texts and item texts of the billing document in the Smart Form standard form LB_BIL_INVOICE.

Solution
The following solution describes how to include a 'header note' on header level and an 'item note' on item level in the form.
If you want to insert other texts into your form, you must adjust the access key (text name, text object, text ID) which you create under point 4 or 11 correspondingly.
The formatting characteristics of the text are transferred from the billing document to the output. That is, you can change the character format only in the document.
to correct the form, proceed as follows:
 1. Display form LB_BIL_INVOICE in the change mode of Transaction SMARTFORMS.
 2. Expand the navigation tree on the left side and choose the following path: 'Pages and Windows -> FIRST -> MAIN'.
 3. After text node TITLEINVOICEDETAILS, insert text node HDTEXT with description 'Header text'.
 4. Maintain the general attributes of this node as follows:
 o Text Type: Include Text
 o Text Name:
 o Text Object: VBBK
 o Text ID: 0001
 o Language:
 o No error if no text exists: X
 5. Create the following variable under 'Global Definitions':
 Variable name Reference type
 GD_IT_TXT_KEY TYPE TDOBNAME
 6. Choose the following path: 'Pages and Windows -> FIRST -> MAIN -> TABLEITEM'. Expand the 'TABLEITEM' table node.
 7. Below the 'TABLEITEM' node (after node IT_REFVG2_COL2_A), insert program line node ITEM_TEXT_KEY with description 'Key for item text'.

 10. After the new program line node ITEM_TEXT_KEY, insert text node ITEM_TEXT with description 'Item text'.
 11. Maintain the following general attributes of the node:
 o Text Type: Include Text

Header text not getting populated in PO in R/3 from SRM!

Our requirement is to automatically populate the email ID of the user in the header text once the PO is created in R/3 with reference to Shopping Cart in SRM.
our scenario is classic.

Highlighting text in a table cell

Im trying to get text in a table have it background shaded a different colour to the rest of the table cell but it doesnt work. No exceptions are thrown does anyone have any idea.

The answer is similar to what someone else asked recently for highlighting text in a JFormattedTextField cell.

Put that in your cell editor or its base class. You can change the color or whatever you want. I think the problem is a timing thing where normal focus processing is interrupting your changes. So give the focus processing time to run with this Runnable triggering your processing to occur on the Awt thread (as is proper) after the system is doing whatever it wants to do. Let us know if it works for you.

Copy of header text

Is there any SAP std. possibility, If I entered the text in the Credit memo heder and which get copied into the output of the Invoice list(Credit memo list).

Hi Sachin,
To map your requirement you have to ask your Abaper to pick up the Text entered in the Header Text field by using Function module "READ_TEXT" (T-code - SE37).
Firstly go to the Billing document> Header> Text and press the Display log icon available at the bottom where you have entered your Text. It will give you details like ID and Object name against the Text Type where you have entered your text.
Then Use T-code - SE37 then select "READ_TEXT" function module and Execute. System will ask you to enter your client code, ID, Language and the Billing document no. along with the Object Name and then execute. System will display the RESULT at the bottom. Ask your ABAPer to pick this data and use the same on Invoice.
Hope the above meets your requirement.

the SAP note 301077 lists the available userexits in SD/FI interface.
If, for example, you want to fill a BSEG field of customer line, userexit EXIT_SAPLV60B_002 is the good one.
Instead if you want to fill a BSEG field of a G/L line, userexit EXIT_SAPLV60B_004 is the good one.
