With the current price drops, if you ask me again tomorrow and I'll probably give a different answer...
22" are far, far cheaper than 23" or 24" but typically max out at 1050 pixels so, if you're into 1080 video, no go.
On the other hand, there are such bargains around at the moment (circa $300), it makes sense to buy a 22" and upgrade when the 27"/30" prices come down to affordable levels - 30" should be sub $800 in 18 months.
I hardly dare recommend anything other than Apple on this forum in case the thread gets deleted but Dell and Benq are right up there in the higher end. The new Dell 27" is gorgeous and the Benq FP241W is the dogs danglies, if a bit pricey.

When you get to the States, if you will be in an area with an Apple store for a couple days, call and ask about reserving an unlocked iPhone, it takes a couple days to get it in the store from what I understand.
The current MBP 15" models are 2.2 and 2.4 GHz i7 machines. There is a 17" with 2.5 GHz i7.
The difference, in addition to the slightly faster cpu, is:
2.2 GHz - Radeon HD 6750 M with 512 MB VRAM
2.4 GHz - Radeon HD 6770 M with 1 GB VRAM
Both have the same hard drive, 750 GB 5400 rpm, both have the same primary graphics - Intel 3000.
So the difference is in the discrete grapics processor, important for heavy video work, heavy gaming...but will drain the battery a lot faster.

No not jailbroken. After the update which took about 45 minutes. The phone went black. Dead. Wouldn't restart. Using the new itunes I tried to restore it. It went through the motions; the white Apple and progress bar appeared on the iphone screen. Then I got a message "Itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. You must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes." Then the phone went completly dead again. I Repeated the process and got the same results. Is there another way to restore the phone if it's dead, besides itunes?

Hi, I have an older 800x600 LCD projector, If I go out and buy all the necessary connecting hardware for the ATV3 to it will it even work?

The AppleTV has a single HDMI 1.3 video out, if you have the ability to connect your projector to HDMI then it should work. Audio may present a problem as well, the audio is integrated with the HDMI output but there is also an optical digital Toslink connector. There are converter boxes to downscale HDMI to VGA specifications but you loose a lot of detail with the smaller format.

normally i would contact custommer support but i m using US account and i m not from US. anyway my US account is charged with money and it workes perfectly for all my other friends using this method ( we got some free US vouchers so we needed US accounts)

Pay no attention to iinami, the amount of replies to people saying their handsets must have been jailbroken everytime iTunes throws out an error is tremendous. (Clearly you don't need to have any real knowledge to get to level 3 on these forums, let's hope apple's geniuses know a lot more than some of their customers.)

It's not Apple's fault that you can't have iOS 7 for your device.
It is simply the fault of your device - the hardware won't do it.
You should be glad that you just got iOS 6.1.5.

Got iTunes match, synced up music from laptop to phone, headed out listening to playlist, all of a sudden, mid-song, music stopped and all music was gone and needed to be re-downloaded

Ok, so I initially bought the cloud mainly in the hopes that I could store all of my music on it and have access to it on my phone, which ended up not being the case. Fine. So I man up and get iTunes match, sync everything up between my laptop and my phone, make a playlist and head out listening to it. All of a sudden while I'm out, mid-song, the music stops. I go to see what's going on and everything is gone and has the icon to download next to it, and now I'm away from my wifi to boot, so charges apply. I don't understand. Now I have iCloud on my phone with 25 GB Total Storage and 25 GB Available because I don't understand what I should be using it for and iTunes match which, what, only works when I'm within spitting distance of my laptop? I've tried to get everything sorted out, paying a fee each time, and hitting roadblocks every step of the way; and on top of it, my phone is constantly telling me it can't do this or that because I don't have enough storage?? I realize I'm a bit of a noob, but c'mon, it shouldn't be this complicated or difficult, should it?

If you have no network access (3G, Wi Fi) you cannot stream music from the cloud. Period.The way you stop the behavior is to enable 3G, or pre-download the tracks you think you will want to listen to.

The only negative to not having the original drive will be the work needed to reinstall all the apps and reconfigure to your liking. You will also have to decide whether to stay on Lion (which you should update to 10.7.4, BTW) or bite the bullet and take a leap of faith on Mountain Lion.
In either case, to simplify matters you would do well to concoct a Lion or ML bootable installer on a USB stick. In either case, you need to get the corresponding installer downloaded onto the hard drive and, instead of running it to execute the install, extract the coveted InstallESD.dmg image from which you construct the bootable installer. I don't want to know how to delete duplicate photos anymore. I would like to know why Apple have not put in delete duplicate option menu in iPhoto? Very curious. Is it to frustrate users, so they have to go out and buy another apple photo product?

Just want to know why Apple have not made an options menu to remove duplicate photos in iPhoto? I know about downloads you can purchase to delete Dups, but I'm very interested to find out from apple themselves as to why they left this out, to die without knowing this is like having viruses on a pc or waiting for the web page to pop up on windows...

You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized.

"Out of Range" on LG Ultrawide Monitor on Mac Mini

I am currently running dual monitors
Primary: LG Ultrawide IPS 32" Monitor running at resolution 2560x1080
Secondary: AOC IPS 27" Monitor running at resolution 1920x1080
Every once in a while my primary monitor will go Blank and say "OUT OF RANGE"
What is causing this to happen?
I have to use the secondary monitor to close down all the applications and restart the computer.
Then everything goes back to normal.
It doesnt happen all the time. But it is starting to become more frequent.
How do I fix this?

I've also had this same problem using the 29" LG ultrawide screen.
Thanks for the two articles, I hoped that they would work. Seemed fine for the rest of the time that I was signed on but once I logged off and started the next day things went back to normal.
This has got worse for me since Yosemite was installed.
Any ideas?
