Headphone does not work anymore. What should I do?

The factory headphone came with my iphone stopped working today(well one ear has no sound anymore), since it is still under one year factory limited warranty should I take the headphone back to the apple store to exchange for a new one? What are you suggestions? Thank you.

Make an appointment with a Genius at your local Apple Store genius bar -- they will just swap it out for a new one for you when you bring it in.,
Note that they will usually NOT do that unless you have an appointment with the Genius Bar and direct you to purchase a new one...OR make an appointment with the Genius bar.
Save yourself time -- go online to apple.com to your local Apple store, get a Genius Bar appointment, and bring in your nonfunctional headphones at the appointed time. They literally just take them from behind the counter and hand you a new one. That is the same that applies for charger or sync cords or bricks that go wrong -- iPhones, iPods, Macs, etc. -- but it is done by the Genius Bar, not the floor employees nor concierges.

    Yeah, you are kind of in a Catch-22 now. If you can't put in your lock screen passcode, then you could try to follow the same steps you would follow if you had put it in too many times:
    iOS: Device Disabled
    However, not sure if that would allow you to get around the lock screen passcode, and if it wouldn't, then you would have to place it in Recovery mode, which erases it....
    Just curious, though - when you hook it up to your computer, are you not able to execute the instructions for importing your photos and videos in the first link I posted?
    Also, you always can start your new phone set up and click on "Restore from iCloud Backup to see if you have a recent iCloud backup you can set up your new phone with. If it is a recent one, then it should have your pictures and videos:
    RESTORE FROM ICLOUD BACKUP

    - Make sure the mic hole is unobstructed. It is the little hole on the back side of the iPod by the camera lens.
    Try:
    - Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost

    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

    After a substantial spill many people will turn their notebook upside down and shake it, not only does this not work, but it spreads liquid havoc throughout your machine and makes things often as bad as possible.
    The keyboard itself acts like a one way valve in the case of a substantial liquid spill. While liquid pours into the bottom chassis easy, it does not come out easily at all, and in the case of any spill, most of it will not come out by turning it upside down. Disconnect all power and contact Apple for diagnostics and repair.

    After a spill most people invariably try to “dry out” their notebook by various methods, including hair dryers and otherwise. This both does not work, and after a substantial spill of any magnitude, even if the liquid was water, residue is left behind.

    Immediately unplug your notebook and contact Apple for in shop diagnostics and parts replacement.
    In the case of very minor spills people will “dry out” their notebook and feel success that their notebook is working ok, however invariably in nearly all instances after 4-14 days an error / fault pops up and is usually followed by more.
    In case of a spill, damage estimates are impossible,.....anything can be fixed, without question.......the question is cost.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    From what I read, you are trying to customize the sites that show up in "My most visited" folder in your bookmarks.
    Unfortunately this folder is automated and it's content can't be manually modified. But, you can customize your list of bookmarks with the ones that you want, and even create a My top sites folder that is curated manually.

    Disconnect the iPad, do a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!, reconnect and follow the prompts.

    You might try talking to the Apple store manager and see if you don't get more help...you might also contact Apple.com/support and see if they can give you a contact with the Apple Italy offices.
    Sounds like you have two levels of failure, the first shop that did the repair and broke a wire, and the second that has disabled something else and isn't helping.
    Apple officially refurbished equipment is usually good quality.  Surprising this has happened but you need to press on with complaints and try for resolution.

    First of all, I'd recomend resetting the iPod. Do this by pressing the 'Menu' and 'Center" buttons for 10 seconds or until the Apple logo appears.
    If this doesn't work, then it sounds like a hardware fault.
    To identify the issue, if you have one, try plugging the iPod into a speaker through the dock. If this works, then the issue is with the headphone jack. If not then the logic board is dead.  If the iPod is less than a year old, then it can be repaired by Apple for free. Just book an appointment for the Genius bar.
    If not then, you could see about sending it to an iPod Repair Company, such as my own. A replacement headphone jack would cost £30.00 in the UK, including next day delivery. Other companies you could try would beUKiPodRepairs, but we guarantee to beat any quote that you get.

    Anton, I wish I could help. I had an old iPod Classic (60 KB) as a gift but it went dead, I dropped it a few times accidentally, and it sat carefully saved until I had sufficient resources, energy and time to get the matter addressed. In my case, I actually took the thing (after making sure it was charged) to an Apple store and one of the geniuses at the genius bar at the back of the store took it and did a few things (unseen and un-noted) with his fingers and handed it to me with a sly smile. Voila, the thing was functional. I got a re-functionalized iTunes account and store access when I bought my iMac. I did lose a few tunes along the way because it didn't recognize my new iMac as the source (my old dead PC laptop), but I have a more functional memory than the iPod and recovered them all in other ways. The whole thing is humming better than ever. At over 11 gb full, I have 4.2 days worth of portable listening. Be patient; it took me four years to get musical nirvana in a pocket, but you'll get there faster. Call support.

    Apple does not support TRIM for SSDs that were not factory
    installed and TRIM Enabler is a hack to get around this.  Any
    hack is always subject to being disabled, or worse, with any
    system update whether it is OSX or Windows.

    As the subject says, somehow I mangled my settings so copy to stickies does not work anymore, pressing shift-option-Y. I have no idea what has changed, restoring the keyboard shortcuts to their default didn't help. Does anyone have a suggestion or a solution?

    You can open the firefox instead of the safari. It works. However, they should solve this problem. Another bug, after saving the document, don't expect to have the figures and tables in the same place when you reopen it.  THIS WAS THE WORST SOFTWARE VERSION EVER! I am totally upset. It is worst than powerpoint now.

    TV does not work anymore, may be due to an update. It has been working OK before.
    When selecting TV option 'TV direct ' with MCE menu, I get the following error message: "necessary files for video display are not installed or do not work properly, restart MCE or the computer". Restarting MCE and / or G10 does not solve the problem.
    -Intervideo WinDVD creator is installed.
    -TV PCI tuner seems to work properly (as per hardware status)
    Which files can be missing? What needs to be done?

    Like you know on this way it is not easy to give you precise answer because we dont know what did you done exactly with your Qosmio.
    Please try to use System restore tool at first and roll back the operating system to earlier time. Maybe this will help you and the MCE configuration will be as before.
    Try it at first.
