Headset connection to HP PAVILION 15-E003

Hi!
I have an HP PAVILION 15-E003 and this computer just have one headset connection. In the description says that this connection can run Áudio and Microphone at the same time but i can't... I just can connect headset sound and not the microphone. How can i use both in just one connection?

HP have used a combined Mic-in & Headphone-out socket on their Laptops and Netbooks for many years now.

Audio fade-in when headset connected

When I have my headset connected and play a song, it fades in whenever I play a song. That is very annoying, how do I turn that off? Also, why did RIM put that annoying feature there in the first place? I have the curve 8530 with OS version 5.

If this is the case Then there must be some switch somewhere in the bowels of the project data that can be thrown. Once again i am appalled at how little information is available to power users and apple should be ashamed of it self. THese damned programs do not work as advertised when pushed and they display anomalies that keep the forums full but nothing else. I had this problem and had to export the whole movie as is and then reimport it in order to over come the INVERSE DUCKING feature so prominently in fashion these days. I will be trying now to see how this works ... again.
PS none of my issues with inverse ducking matched what you did to solve yours -- My project had been completed and now someone wanted tweaks so when i went in to make the tweaks- that is what i found . Sort of like magical apperance of unnamed temporary files amongst other things.

- Try insering and removing the headphone plug a dozen times or so.
- Try cleaning out the headphone jack in the iPod.
- Resett he iPod. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restoe to factory defaults/new iPod
If yu still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem, likely a bad headphone jack. Yu can make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store to confirm.
If not underwarranty Apple will only exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for:

Speakers Altec Lansing VS-3151 Connecting to HP Pavilion a1130n

I've successfully been using the Altec Lansing Speaker System VS-3151 that I purchased together with my HP Pavilion a650y in 2004. When we recently replaced our desktop, my daughter wanted to inherit the speaker system to use with her HP Pavilion a1130n that was purchased in 2005. However, we can't determine how to connect those speakers to her desktop. Perhaps there is some kind of converter that we need?

My bluetooth headset connects, but it is not a source option on an active call. Why?

I get an icon indicating that the plantronics M1100 headset is connected and working properly on my display. The headset even asks me if i want to answer incoming calls. But when i say "answer", i can only use the handset or speaker phone. I cannot get an active call to go to my headset. This just started happening. Headset connection problems

My N73 Music Edition has of late been behaving strangely. When I connect my headset, I hear no sound. If I give the pop port connection a little jerk, it works fine. A small shake and the sound goes off, though the headset icon is displayed. Help!

I have same issue on my previous N73 ME. I believe that the headset/USB connection port is easily gets loose and the pins of USB/Headset cable is does not fit the ones on the port. This issue could also be due to broken pins of the USB/headset cable so try using other cable. When this happens, i'll wiggle the cable on the port and push it firmly. Sometimes when wiggling the cable slight downward will gave you a connection but not until the cord gets moved. I believe it a manufacturing issue on N73.

Jabra BT620s Bluetooth headset connects then dis connects

My BT620 Bluetooth headset pairs with my iPad but when I connect the iPad drops the connection after 5 or 10 seconds. The bt620s work great with my other Bluetooth devices and supports the ad2p stacks.
Any suggestions or ideas on how to get these to work?

Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad.

E75 Bluetooth Headset Connectivity

Hi Guys I cannot connect any of my bluetooth headsets to my E75.
When I start pairing, my phone does find the headset and can pair. Then when I ask to connect to headset, I keep getting the message "unable to create bluetooth connection".
But the bluetooth on my phone works because it is connecting to my mac.
I've tried this with a motorola, nokia and jawbone headset. They all have the same problem. There's nothing wrong with the headsets because they connect just fine to my old E71.
I've sent the phone thrice to the Nokia service centre and they reinstalling all the software and sending it back.
Please help

I think i may have found a solution for this:
having the same problems, regarding bluetooth connection problems, and sometimes the %u [74] error.
after hard reseting my fone more times than i can remember, and restoring certain parts of the info, i find messages and contacts, changing a lot of the settings etc dont have an effect. only when you restore calendar it creates problems.
i have ruled out viruses etc, cuz no mem card was left in, and i was only restoring text at a time. not files..
my next theory to test this is:
i will sync to a server like google or ovi, wipe it, then resync from the server, and see if its any data corruption being restored from pc suite is the problem..
but no time now so a joo to do.
my e75 is starting to get on my nerves and i think it will be a shame but nessarsary to get another model cuz this one clearly is not finished. [mail for exchange, bluetooth problems, batt life, annoying non-standardised menus+shortcuts etc etc]

Connecting firewire to Pavilion P6-2302

I want to use Windows MovieMaker, importing video from my Canon MiniDV camcorder tapes.
As a newbie to all this, and after hours of confusing research online, please can anyone answer these questions:
1. I understand I should transfer via firewire. Do I need to install anything extra on my PC (HP Pavilion P6-2302)? If not, where do I connect the firewire cable to the PC?
2. My CD/DVD tray says it is a DVD Multirecorder. Does that mean I can burn DVDs from MovieMaker?
I will be very grateful for any advice. Thanks.

There are many opinions online that 'firewire to USB' adapters often prove unsatisfactory, so I will go for the card option.
Now to find someone to install it!

Itunes launches when bluetooth headset connects on OS X

OS X: when I connect a Bluetooth headset, iTunes launches and begins playing. Not desired behavior. I see a thread or two from a year or so ago, but wonder if this isn't caused by some recent update. (It didn't do this a month ago).

Found the answer thanks to another post on the Apple Forums. The iTunesHelper app in Login Items was an older location of an older iTunes which was somehow not replaced.
Replacing it was not entirely easy. I could remove it easily enough, but because the current iTunesHelper.app lives inside the iTunes.app bundle, you cannot navigate from System Preferences - Users&Groups - Login Items as it won't open iTunes.app to look for other apps inside.
So, I opened Terminal.app and typed
open /Applications/iTunes.app/Contents/MacOS
this opens a Finder window. Here you find the correct iTunesHelper.app. That one can be dragged to the login items in System Preferences.
