Headset not supported - D-Link-120

I've looked through the forums, but I'm still stymied. I have a D-Link 120 installed in my PPC 1.25 G4. I set it up to swap files with my phone, but when I try to pair my Motorola H371 headset, it says "your hardware is not compatible with headsets".
I downloaded and installed the Bluetooth Firmware Updater. When I ran it, I got the "this computer does not have an Apple Bluetooth module installed" error. I trashed Bluetooth preference file and reset PRAM. Still getting the same message.
That's as far as the discussions got me...does anyone have another idea?

i steered away from the USB adapters for bluetooth... i tried one from best buy that was 1/2 the $ of the d-link 120... had crazy problems happen?!?! i actually had USB components drop out on me! i use eyeTV and every time i tried to use the bluetooth it disappeared?!!? i assumed it was pulling too much power through the USB ports and subsequently the other devices got dropped due to lack of power...
i was told the d-link was the best one for our macs, but i never tried it again... i want to get an airport card with the bluetooth adapter on it... you can find them on line and peeps in these forums have posted links for them (can't remember where at the moment).
japamac uses it and has no problems... maybe he can chime in and help!

RemoteApp File Paths do not support Symbolic Links

Has anyone gotten RemoteApp to work with symbolic links?
I have an application in C:\app\1.0 . I have a symbolic link C:\app\latest that points to the 1.0 folder. When I publish the application through the GUI, it stores the path as C:\app\1.0 rather than C:\app\latest. If I use a PowerShell Command, it will store
the symbolic link version of the path, but the application will fail to open.

As per my research, I can say that it supports the symbolic link for RemoteApp. But please check that you have placed the correct path links for RemoteApp to use. As when RemoteApp used the symbolic link, we must have the path link correct which will open the
application.
Also please see that you have latest version of client RDP installed, RDP 8.1.

Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.8 Not Supported by Link

Heyo,
I recently reformatted my Macbook Pro and I lost my BlackBerry Link software. I want to reinstall it, but the current update no longer supports Snow Leopard. Anyone know where I can get the old BlackBerry Link software?

There are some sites on the Web that offer the older version of Link, however clicking download sends you to the latest version.
You should check here: http://www.apple.com/osx/how-to-upgrade/ to see if your Mac is compatible with the free upgrade to Mavericks, if so then you will be able to install the latest version of Link.

Hey Peeps.
So here's what's happening. My workplace recently approved new ear defenders with AUX in port. Unfortunatelly every time I'm trying to connect them to my Z1 Compact, the phone says "headset not supported". I've seen other threads about headsets not being supported, and I've cleared smart connect data, rebooted the phone, but it does not help. Even connected, the music still plays from phone's speaker. Any help on this one would be much appreciated. Here's the exact model of those ear muffs:

If they aren't supported then this will be a CTIA issue - Not an issue as such but the pin outs on the jack plug will be different and non compliant, You could try searching for an adapter to change the pin outs but I've not see one but then again I've never really searched for one

Bluetooth Headset Hardware not supported

I have a Kensington USB dongle and I pasted the ASP info below. I can use it for pretty much everything except for using my headset. Does any one know of a way to enable this?
I can't imagine why Apple would only support headsets on their bluetooth hardware. I read in this forum that a D-link dongle is supported, does it have any specific features that my Kensington dongle does not list in the Apple system profiler?

Dlink is STILL the only officially supported usb BT dongle and I have one and it works great if you only want 10m radius.
I bought a Targus ACB20 (also known as ACB20us) because my GF wanted BT connectivity for her headset on her eMac. I realised AFTER that headsets were not supported for the Broadcom Chipset in this device.

this guy found a belkin patch for his device that allows broadcom chipset dongles to use headsets (YAY).

This works fine with my targus dongle and another Anycom one I have (both 100m).

FF 6.0 doesn't open pdf-links, after clicking on "open pdf" error message says file not supported or damaged. IE opens file all right. Please advice.

Firefox 6.0 doesn't open pdf-links after clicking on "open pdf". I frequently need to do literature searches and I need to view pdf files in the browser. After clicking on the pdf - link of a file the main options are to open or download the pdf. Every time I try to open a pdf-file a blank page and an error message appears saying the file would not be supported or is damaged. IE, however, opens the file all right. I tried various changes in the security and cookie settings without success. Please advice.

This document is almost certainly a dynamic XFA form. Unfortunately, our mobile Reader does not support displaying or filling such forms. The application that produces this form embeds this message into the document so that non-supportive viewers (like ours) will display this "error" page when the document opens. I do realize that this is confusing and I would like to add some additional detection to our Reader for this case. However, we've avoided doing this for fear of confusing users even further. Your feedback helps though. Hopefully we'll find a way to detect this case and present a better message to the user like: This form is not supported by the mobile version of the Adobe Reader. Please open and fill it on the non-mobile version of the Adobe Reader for Windows, Linux or Mac OSX.

I am getting the following error when attempting to INSERT the results of an "EXEC(@MDXQuery) at SSAS LinkedServer":

Other articles I've found so far don't seem to apply to my case. I am not creating any explicit transactions in my code. When I use OPENQUERY, I am able to do the insert just fine, but not when I use EXEC @MDX at LinkedServer.
Unfortunately in some variations of the query, I run into the 8800 character limit on OPENQUERY, so I need to use this other approach.
Any ideas?

In this case, SQL Server Analysis Services doesn’t support Distributed Transactions by design. Here is a similar thread about this issue for your reference, please see:

Enhancement not supported Nokia 6085..Headset prob...

I just bought a new headset (Nokia Music Headset - HS-20) for my nokia 6085 and it fits in perfectly and everything but after a few seconds a screen pops up and says "Enhancement not supported" Any ideas?

1st, on the support page of 6085 your headset is not listed as supported by your phone.
2nd are you sure that the headset is original?
see if you can return it, and ask for a different one and check in the support site

GT 120 does not support resolution 1440 x 900?

I have a 15" Macbook Pro and wish to use the Apple remote desktop to control my 2009 Mac Pro remotely. However I can't figure out a proper resolution -- 1440x900 in the remote desktop... This resolution is not supported either when I work on the Mac Pro itself.

Internet Explorer and FireFox do not support Go To A Page View links between PDFs created with Acrobat 8 Professional. Safari does support the links. Similar problem on both PC and Mac.
Two possible errors occur: (1) the error message “page not found”; or (2) nothing at all happens – the reader does not leave the page.
Do you have any suggestions?

Check the target field in the Firefox desktop shortcut and make sure that you do not start Firefox with the -no-remote switch or have set the environment variable MOZ_NO_REMOTE=1 (Control Panel > System > Advanced > Environment variables).
Always make sure to start at least the default profile without the -no-remote command line switch.
If you need to have more than one profile open at the same time then start subsequent instances with the -no-remote command line switch.
You can not send links from other programs to a Firefox instance that is started with the -no-remote switch.
In such a case you need to drag links in a Firefox window or paste the link in the location bar.

Getting a Not Supported error box when trying to link a subreport to the..

I am trying to build a subreport off of my main report. I am trying to link my subreport stored procedure to my main reports stored procedure. All of the paremeters on the sub report SP are of the same data type of the fields I am linking my parameters to in the main report SP. After I set it all up and go to preview it I get a "Not Supported" error box that pops up. Then I click ok and all i have is a blank white page. Does anyone know what is not supported? This happens when trying to build this report in crystal 2008. I even tried building this same report in crystal 10 and it works perfect. I don't know what I am doing wrong in the crystal 2008 environment. Please help
