Health app and restarting day

so i get up pretty early every day, 4am. my health app doesn't seem
to restart the day. when I open my health app in the morning it gives me all of my data from yesterday.
how many steps I walked, etc. but doesn't show any of today's data? I noticed this happening yesterday too, but
i updated the iOS and the day reset and started recording my steps. Is there a certain time the day restarts?
I would assume it should be 12am, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I haven't had this issue before, any tips or suggestions as to why this is happening?

Keith,
Thanks for the quick response...  It wasn't clear (since I got here from the Support page) that this wasn't Apple.  Will take your suggestion and see if I can find the appropriate area through the link you provided...

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - sign out and the sign back into Game Center
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

The apps I currently have are for the i phone and i pad but i would like to see this on this computer
On the Mac Air launch iTunes. Then connect either the iPad or iPhone.
Select the iPad or iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Then select Apps from the menu on the right.
If you don't see the apps listed there, from your iTunes menu bar (top of your screen), click Store > Authorize This Computer.
See if that makes a difference...

  • Is anyone having problems with the Health App and Withings?

After upgrading to ios 8.1 I am still having a problem getting my Withings Health Mate data to correctly update my Healt Dashboard. The information that does show up on the different Dashboard widgets is way off. For example, I today walked 2400 steps according to Withings, but the Health Dashboard shows 10,700 steps (720,000 in smaller print on another line). It further shows my daily average at 313,000 steps! Ridiculous.
Walking/Running distance for the days shows 22.5 miles with a daily average of 108 miles.....I'm not Barry Allen/The Flash.

My problems with the Healt App are all over the map. The information on Withings Health Mate is totally accurate, and updates immediately.  I have their scale (since 2011) and wireless blood pressure monitor. Also, I find the heart rate senson on the iPhone 6 to work well, every time.
This issue for me is with Apple's Health app. I get ridiculous readings on the Dashboards. For example, it shows my daily average in steps as 170,688, and miles walked at 80. Hardly! Additionally, the Dashbord widgets will disappear/reappear for no reason. I have tried switching the priority of data sources for the steps dashboard between Withings and my iPhone 6 (because it is indicated that the top source governs the dashboard info), to no avail.
Lastly, I don't know how to interpret the infomration on the individual dashboards. On the same line as the word "Steps" there is a number, i.e. 14,272 steps, and just under it the word "Today." However, when I switch from "Day," "Week,," "Month," and "Year," those number don't change. Below the word Today is a number (which changes all the time), and at the bottom of the widget, just above the month (October now) is the number 1,149,749. Nice.
I would like to get the Apple Watch next year, but if the Health App cannot be fixed I may not.

  • Health App. and Hydration

Since purchasing my iPhone 6 in December, I've been using the Health App quite a bit, and overall am pleased with what it does, or at least seems capable of (I clearly don't use all of the features that it includes).  What I'm writing about today, and what I was most surprised about, is what it doesn't do (or at least doesn't appear to do).
The App has the ability to track so many aspects of what we do every day regarding exercise, food intake, calories burned, How much Vitamin A we have in our diet, etc...  What it doesn't do (or at least doesn't appear to do) is track hydration, how much water we take in.  With Dehydration being such a major issue in our society (Something like 70% of people functioning in a dehydrated state).  And with Medical and Fitness professionals talking constantly about the importance of hydration to our health and well being...  It's surprising to see this very critical element missing from the Health App's capabilities.
There are so many Food Diary Apps, and Fitness apps out there (Lose It for example) that do track this sort of information, It would be great for Health to integrate this info as well to provide users with a complete picture of what is happening in their bodies.
Are there any plans to incorporate this info...?  Would love to see this feature added in an upcoming update...!

  • Itouch keeps exiting out app and restarting/freezing

My ipod for the past week now, seems to have a lot of bugs!
I just got this ipod for Christmas, and yes I have downloaded the current update and since I have...
-My ipod randomly goes to a black screen and shows the loading symbol
sometimes it pulls back up to the main screen
other times it ends up showing the apple symbol and reloading
other times it just gets stuck on the loading symbol and doesn't stop. I have to power it off after many attempts for it to stop. Just holding the top button does not always power it off. Most times I have to hold down both buttons.
(once the only way I could get it to stop was by plugging it in and after sometime it stopped)
-I click on an app and it acts like it's going to load, and then exits out of it.
-also 2 days ago my ipod was plugged into my car sterio, and when I told it to play my music, the ipod flipped out and started flying through all my songs, but wouldn't play any of my songs.
It's the newest ipod touch and like I said, I just got it for Christmas, if someone can PLEASE tell me what to do I'd much appreciate it!

    Thank you,
I know my apps are all up to date, and when I've tried to delete some of my apps that has caused my ipod to freeze with the loading screen.
I have held both the top button and the home button down at the same time, it has not cleared my whole ipod but I will try this I doubt this is going to be my answer...
I do not live near an apple store, and I'm afraid if I travel all the way to one my ipod will not act up while I am there.

  • I am having difficulties with iPhoto slideshow.  The slide show stops in the middle of a presentation and the system crashes.  I must power off to exit the app and restart my MacBook pro.

I am having difficulties with iPhoto slideshow. It crashes in the middle of the presentation and I have to power off and restart my computer to get it running again.

    Wow. Okay...
I'll let the real veterans in this forum tackle your issues one after the other. But, I can tell you, all will be well.
My only comment would be re: your computer specs:

To be completely honest, FCPX is a RAM hog. It just is. But, RAM is relatively cheap, and the pay-off is good.
4GB is right on the edge, IMHO. 16G is ideal.
I wish you luck, hang in there, and standby for more help.

  • Help deleting game apps and restarting phone

I am trying to delete all of the games my son has put on my iphone.  There are about 50 trying to update all at once which is enabling me from using the apps I need.  I want to completely restrart my phone, erasing everything and cannot find any help in doing so

    Hi trevor2013,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you would like to restore your iPhone.
Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition.
See this article for the steps to restore your phone:
    iTunes: Restoring iOS software
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
If you want your phone to be "like new," then you don't need to restore from a backup (as mentioned in step 5.)

  • Health Monitoring and Restart Configuration with Node Manager

We have a WL 9.2.2 instance setup using Node Manager to control it. It contains a JMS server with a persistant store that is in an oracle database. If the Oracle database becomes unavailable, the Weblogic server throws a number of errors eventually leaving the Managed Server in a "FAILED" state. I configuring/activated the following "Configuration - Health Monitoring" options for the managed server to have it automatically recover from this situation:
    Health Check Interval: 180
    Auto Kill If Failed: Checked
    Auto Restart: Checked
    Max Restarts Within Interval: 2
    Restart Delay Seconds: 0
However it is not automatically restarting, even though the server shows in a "FAILED" state.
<strong>1st question: Do I need to restart the server with the settings above to have it react to the FAILED state? I would think that 3 minutes after I configured the above it would begin a restart on the FAILED server, but that does not happen</strong>
I also note on the "Configuration - OverLoad" page, there is a setting for "Failure Action:" that can be set to "Ignore, take no action" or "Force Immediate Shutdown of this server" I did configure/activate this for "Force immediate Shutdown..." but again the currently FAILED server does not restart.
<strong>2nd question: Does this "Configuration - Overload- Failure Action" setting override or effect in any way the configuration of restart on the "Configuration - Health Monitoring" page?</strong>
<strong>3rd question: Same as 1st question but for these Overload settings: Do they require a full restart of the managed server to somehow take effect?
    </strong>

    Have you set the field : CrashRecoveryEnabled=true in file : ..\bea\weblogic92\common\nodemanager\nodemanager.properties ?

  • Health app not working on the right day ...

    Hi everyone.
I follow my physical activity everyday with the Apple Health app and this morning, while I was walking, the app started to work on another day.
I began my physical activity recording on the 12th of november and since about 10 a.m, I'm now recording on the 13th.
The date is correctly set on my iPhone so I don't really get what's going on here ...
    Could anyone help me?
    Thanks a lot.
    Regards.

on set-up (in the UK) I had to wait until WhattsApp gave me an activation code by sms, is it the same with you?

  • Health app not showing steps and calories

It's about 5 days that the health app is not showing steps, calories and other data which was showing before. I have added two data source to provide data for health App and both them are provideding data.

I take it you have already gone into the Health app and set up your Medical ID card, correct?
The Medical ID card will show up on the Lock Screen password entry screen when Emergency option on the bottom left-hand side of the screen is clicked.
It does not show up anywhere if you do not have a passcode lock on the screen.

  • Health App Lists Itself and iPhone as a Data Source

I use FitBit to track my steps. I also use the Sync Solver app which syncs data from FitBit to Apple's Health app. When I open the Apple Health app and look at the list of data sources for Steps, there are 3 data sources listed:
    Sync Solver
    iPhone 5s
    Health
Sync Solver is at the top of the list because it's the app that I want to take priority over all other data sources. But I don't understand the difference between "Health" and "iPhone 5s".
I assume that "iPhone 5s", when listed as a data source, means the data gathered from the phone's built-in motion sensor. But what is "Health"? Why is it listed as a data source for Steps? It's like the Health app is using itself as a data source, which doesn't make sense to me.
This same phenomenon is true when looking at the data sources for Walking + Running Distance - both "Health" and "iPhone 5s" are listed as data sources for that particular metric.
Coincidentally, neither "Health" nor "iPhone 5s" appear on the main Sources tab for the Health App (i.e., the master list of apps that are sources of data for the Health App).
Does anyone know the difference between "Health" and "iPhone 5s" as data sources?
P.s. - "iPhone 5" is simply the name of my iPhone. This would be listed differently depending on what your iPhone is named (e.g., "Eric's iPhone", etc.).

ArrayCollection is a view of a source array or ArrayList.  You can have multiple views of the same data by assigning the .list of one AC to another AC.
You can create a separate hashmap of ID's to indices in that other AC

  • Health App completely buggy?

On iPhone 6, I thought Health App would record certain kinds of data and pull in other data from other apps and devices.
I first connected to the Jawbone UP, and both apps stopped working. They hung, crashed, didn't track data. Disaster.
I disconnected the two apps, and each did its own thing.
Then I noticed that the Health App stopped tracking "Flights Climbed". One day, I climbed up a hill, and it said it was equivalent of 9 stories. That made sense. Another day on the same route, 0, flights.
I went to Genius Bar and was told the HealthKit is broken. The app was released before ready.
    What's the real deal?

I take it you have already gone into the Health app and set up your Medical ID card, correct?
The Medical ID card will show up on the Lock Screen password entry screen when Emergency option on the bottom left-hand side of the screen is clicked.
It does not show up anywhere if you do not have a passcode lock on the screen.

  • Health app: more features needed

I love the new Health app and I use it everyday. But I do think there are a few features missing.
Apple has taken the nutrition apart and has a slide for caffein consumption,
but they totally forgot about the important things, like
hydration ... How much water do I take in a day ... This is so important!
    and
women's health ... Weight and temperature is there, but no opportunities to add monthly cycles. Especially important when you plan a pregnancy.
I was really hoping to add all my data into the one app, instead I still have to have different ones to keep me up to date with my health.
maybe they think of us when the next update arrives.

You can tell Apple directly at the link below.
