Healthkit Cocoa error 4097

Hi Guys,
Running iPhone 6 Plus on 8.0.2. Since the upgrade i cannot get the health app to work at all. Im using Wahoo HR app to track exercise through a HR monitor and myfitnesspal for food. MFP did work before on version 8.0.
However in the Wahoo app you have to submit the data to MFP and health app if you want it not like MFP which syncs automatically. When i submit to MFP from Wahoo to have the exercise logged in there it works fine with a little green tick. When trying to export the data to Health i get error Cocoa 4097(see attached pic). Im sure its the Health app thats has the issue as some users have been using both ok.
Any ideas, i have tried removing both apps, hard reset, full reset (restore from backup). Unticking everything from healthkit, putting it back on. Nothing

I have the same problem using IOS 8.0.2, plus I cannot enter data into Healthkit directly. Also, Healthkit is not showing data previously entered.

hello , well after i upgrade to 8.1 and everything seems to be OK
but when i tried to login to the game center it refused and said something about not connecting to the server then i try to login from the settings section so i got this error msg ( cocoa error 4097 )

Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds
On your iPad use Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings - This causes the iPad to forget all WiFi networks. No other settings are affected.

I have deleted and re- installed iBooks several times. How do I get iBooks to work?

I was just on the phone with an Apple Engineer and we had to do a system restore. Once this was done the ibooks were able to download successfully. Apple did not know of the cocoa error 513.
all is working perfect after completely doing a backup and system restore.

Cocoa Error 404 -- what happened? need help!!

After accidentally deleting a subfolder within the "Google" folder in my user related account, the Safari version 3 (the latest one, before the beta 4) stopped loading the gmail.
it kept on saying Cocoa Error 404. Operation could not be completed. (Cocoa error 404.)” (NSCocoaErrorDomain:404)
I tried to undo the damage with replacement of the entire Google folder, including re-installing the folder from old copies (using Time Machine). I tried to re-install the Google Gears in Safari. It didn't work.
I also tried to install the new Safari 4.0. I tried to reset everything, emptying the cache, etc. Nothing worked.
However, despite this problem, Safari loads other Google functions fine (Calendar, Reader, etc). And Firefox still loads Gmail fine. I wonder what could be the cause of Safari's problems?!

i sovlved my own question: the guilty party in question is the Google gear plug-in for internet plug-ins (i deleted all the Google plug-ins). it solved all problems. amazing.

Adobe Ideas cocoa error 259

I've been working on a comic strip for a week and had come close to completion today. I lost track of time and my iPad battery died right in the middle of me working on my project in Adobe Ideas. After connecting my iPad to power and booting it up again; i launched the application to discover that my project no longer showed a thumbnail preview. Out of curiosity i tried to open the project and all it gave me was "ERROR Could not open the page. The operation couldn't be completed. (Cocoa error 259.)" I had tried to salvage the project from adobe ideas on my iphone, but was only able to successfully email a PDF of an older version of the project before the Cloud updated the project and overwrote it with the corrupted one. I've tried duplicating the project, changing the name of the project, logging out of creative cloud and signing back in; nothing seems to fix the issue. I did manage to log into creative cloud from my computer and download the .ideas document to my desktop. The document won't even open up in adobe Illustrator, it actually crashes the application in mid attempt. Someone from support, please tell me there's a solution or some way to salvage this file; its an important piece to a set that im working on. I've invested the majority of my day toward this and it disturbs me greatly that it was so easy to lose something like this through Creative Cloud. I do ALL of my illustration work on my iPad and would like to prevent this from accidentally happening again.

Cocoa error 259

Ive been working on some piece of art on adobe ideas, and I've lost most of my work and when I try to click on my files cocoa error 259 pops up, and I can't open it

However, since we have not been able to reproduce the cocoa error 259 consistently, I cannot state that this specific issue has been addressed in the upcoming update. We are continuing our investigation and analysis to ensure that we address any issue that negatively impacts our customers.
Based on the information that you have provided, I would like to clarify the statement:
- bizarrely (and new behavior after reinstall) the app now cycles endlessly through the sync cycle an just won't stop unless manually turned off.
Your experience is that the sync never reaches a complete state but does fully sync your files between the device and the Creative Cloud.
I will continue to keep you updated as to our analysis. Please do keep us informed as to any additional feedback.

I'm having cocoa error 516 reinstalling a profile!!!

Without deleting a profile manually, I restored my ipad to a state when the profile had been absent. Now, I can't install that profile again. It says Profile cannot be installed. (Cocoa error 516) How can I install it again?

Restore iOS7 via iTunes. Then install the profile again. DO NOT restore from backup. After restore it Cocoa error 516 will appear again. Good Luck!

Cocoa error 259. Are files with this error code recoverable? Days of creative progress was lost!

The screen froze as I was working on a project that had been previously saved numerous times. I duplicated the file to work on two different versions, and it was the duplicated file that ended up with the error. the The app shut itself down and when reopened, the work had reverted to a version I saved days prior. I closed it thinking it would refresh and all my progress would return. However, it did not, and I was unable to reopen the file after that point. It would be understandable if I'd only lost the progress I'd made during the session that crashed, but losing days of progress that had been saved is unacceptable. Is that lost progress recoverable? I was using the iPad 2 when the error occured. I tried opening it on my iPhone, and iMac. I tried renaming the file, restarting...please help.
Is there any consideration of a refund or compensation of some kind when new products are not performing as expected? I was dissapoited to find that the only thing I paid an additional cost for, after signing up for the Creative Cloud, was what failed to meet my expectations.

Cocoa error 513 - cannot change backup hard drive?

Hi, I have been successfully using a second internal hard-drive to backup via Timemachine. I changed the back up to an external hard-drive to get another backup, which worked. However, when I tried to change back to the internal hard-drive, I get the error message "operation could not be completed (Cocoa error 513)." I have check I have the latest software updates, repaired the internal back-up drive (via disk utility - no problems), deleted the timemachine.plist file, but still the error persists. Any advice most welcome.

Hi, and welcome to the forums.
This doesn't sound quite the same, but there is a bizarre situation where having the Back To My Mac feature turned on prevents changing the TM drive. But I understand it to be that clicking the option just does nothing, rather than cause an error message.
Still, if you're running Back To My Mac, try turning it off temporarily.
