Try reading the tech specs and the user guide, which tell you that Hebrew is supported and how to activate it.

  • [Gedit] Hebrew language support [solved]

    Hi,
I am wondering from where Gedit takes the Hebrew language support on my system.
I do not have any Hebrew language pack installed:
    ~ pkg-grep huns
    hunspell 1.3.3-1
    hunspell-de-de 20131206-1
    hunspell-en-gb 7.1-2

    Does anyone experience the same?

Probably the (eventual) dependency on hspell:

  • Hebrew language support in iPod nano

Hi, I have an iPod nano but it cannot displaye Hebrew text. How can I fix this? I could not find an update on the site. Thanks, Yoni

That link is broken. The YEDA website now points to idigital.co.il, and on this page they say explicitly that the iPodHE2 software is currently not avaliable.

  • PDF Reader for Palm OS - Hebrew Language Support

I recently discovered that Adobe has a PDF reader the Palm.
I have PDF files in Hebrew. When I try transferring them to the Palm with
the Adobe desktop software, all I see on the Palm is dots, no words. Does
anyone know of a way to read these Hebrew files?

I have Acrobat 7.09 Professional. When I try to launch, I immediately get a message box that says:
    "The application Acrobat quit unexpectedly.
Mac OS X and other application are not affected.
Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report
to see more details or send a report to Apple.
    {Three Buttons} Close Report... Reopen"
I have clicked them all, sent a report to Apple, tried to reopen. The same thing happens whether I open Acrobat directly, thru the dock or opening a PDF.
I'm a designer trying to get stuff done, and my frustration level is rising.

  • Language Support for iPhone

I just got the iphone this morning. Its pretty good, except for two big problems. One is the EDGE network, which is slow, but nothing to be done about that.
The second is the lack of language support. I expected it to support the languages that OS X does, but it seems that the iphone is most limited in this regard. Of particular irritation to me is the lack of Hebrew support, as a good chunk of my iTunes library is in hebrew. In addition, websites don't render correctly with unsupported languages...
Is this going to be fixed? soon?!

    Tom,
The limitation seems to be one of the 4 included encodings that are in Mac OSX's version of Safari, but not supported by iPhone's Mail interface. I received 6 emails from Japan (thru the iPhone's Yahoo mail interface) and one of them came in as junk characters. In a browser, you can just keep trying the other encodings to make the junk characters readable-this is not possible (from what I can tell) within iPhone's mail interface.
If I have time, I will log into the Yahoo mail account directly thru Safari on the iPhone, to see if that works better than iPhone mail-but I'm assuming they use a similar encoding scheme. I also assume that once they release the iPhone in Japan, this will be addressed

  • Full Hebrew language for iPod

    Hello.
Me and my friends made Hebrew support for the iPod.
It contains FULL menus in Hebrew and support for Hebrew songs.
We made it instead of the Norwegian language, but it compatible with every iPod (of course, not Shuffle ).
We are willing to sell it to Apple, but we dont publish it for free and at all (rights viloation and stuff).
We made it by hacking to the logic drive of the iPod (34 mega bytes, "invisible").
    write me what u think

    bro
i mentioned it - Yeda cant do what we did, they just did songs support (songs in hebrew are visible, and invisible in the regualr firmware) and just it.
we support songs and even the menus are in hebrew
and its a copyright vilation sooooo.......i dont distribut it

  • Hebrew language is written backwards in LR cc, is there a fix for that?

When typing in Hebrew language (e.g. in identity plate or text for slideshow), the text is written backward (i.e. from left to right i/o right to left), so the words are scrambled.
In PS I can control the text adjustment and direction, but I don't see such option in LR.
Is there a fix for that?

What year/model is your MBP? Using the incorrect power adapter (85W for 60W Mac or vice-a-versa) can cause problems.

  • TREX Language support: Bulgarian

Can anyone clarify Bulgarian language support of TREX 6.1?
TREX 7.0 and above is described as supporting Bulgarian via mapping to Russian, though no details of how to achieve this are provided.
As Russian is a supported language at 6.1 I would assume the same mapping activity could be done on that version.
Anyone have details/experience of this set-up?

  • Recently added playlist in ipod/hebrew language

    Hey.
Why won't you do a 'recently added' playlist in ipod as we have in itunes?
    it can be very helpful!
also, why ipod classic doesn't support hebrew language?
    Thanks.

Nobody here can tell you why some feature you want isn't available, but you can ask Apple to add it via

  • RTL language support

Regarding Right-To-Left language support: While building a report, I would like to set the breaks list box to "First and Second Columns", but Apex assumes that column order starts from the left. In the case of Hebrew, Arabic, etc, column order begins from the right. In order to use the automatic breaking and summing features I have to order my columns from left to right and the users don't like it.
Do I have any options here?
    David

    Hello David,
Apex assumes that column order starts from the leftApex assumes the order of columns as it appears in the report column attribute list. The first column will be the first column on that list, the second will be the next row on the list etc. This order has nothing to do with your page orientation.
Do I have any options here?Yes. You should set your page orientation to be RTL, and continue to work naturally with your report builder - http://i3.tinypic.com/wlrdsj.png and http://i3.tinypic.com/wlre3k.png .
If you need to do that on a specific page, you can use the following on your page HTML Header:
    <style type="text/css">
    body {direction:rtl !important;}
</style>You can see a page example here: http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=22814:50
If you need to reverse your entire application to be RTL, the best and easiest solution will be to add the "direction" attribute to the "body" selector in your application CSS file. That will automatically reverse the orientation of all your application pages.
    Hope this can help,
    Arie.

  • Chinese Language Support Package ?

When users try to open my distributed forms using Adobe Reader 9 they get an alert box which states:
'You need to install the Traditional Chinese Language Support Package to view or fill in this form.  If you continue without installing this package the form will not work correctly'
Is there anything within LiveCycle Designer which can be changed to prevent this message from appearing when users try to open the form ?
Here is the script of my form, I have very little experience of Java Script but I cannot see any ref. to Chinese ?
Any Help would be greatly appreciated......

  • Multiple language support help

I have a large application with more than several hundred sub VIs. Now, we want to modify it to provide multiple language support, for example, Chinese or French.  I have searched the forum and have some clue, but still cannot fit our needs.
    1. from NI site, one method is to export string and import string. But for several hundred sub VIs, do I need to to this several hundred times for each VI? since in our application, some strings are hardcoded.
    2. using excel sheet, everytime read excel file and modify the contorl properities. I am not sure how this works in details.
Any advice or suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks.

    michenglaoxu,
Please see the following post, as well as How Can I Use Chinese Characters in LabVIEW on Windows XP?, perhaps it can help also note the following excerpt from Localizing Your LabVIEW Application to Different Languages:
"You do not need to have a specific language
version of LabVIEW, such as French, German, or Japanese, to be able to
enter display text in that language. LabVIEW supports single and double
byte characters, but it does not support bidirectional scripts (such as
    Arabic or Hebrew).
If you want to display text in multi-byte
character sets (such as Japanese, Chinese, or Korean) in LabVIEW, you
only need an operating system of the appropriate language or an
MBCS-enabled operating system with an Input Method Editor (IME) for the
corresponding language. Also, there are several commercially available
language kits that you can add on to the operating system."

  • Language Support (keyboard)

I'm wondering if I've simply overlooked something obvious in the international keyboards. It seems that I can't find any of the Indian languages among the lists of supported keyboard layouts. Is this something that I can change or maybe something that is going to be added at some point? I have been waiting for this support since the release of the 1st iphone. How do I add this functionality? Looking for Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi...etc.
