These are user to user forums, so nobody here can tell you what Apple's intentions might be, and Apple itself never provides advance info on feature improvements.
Of course iWork applications do support RTL to some extent, much more than MS Word for Mac does. But there are various bugs that mean most people would use a different app, such as TextEdit, iText Pro, Mellel, Nisus Writer, NeoOffice, or OpenOffice. Mellel is normally considered the best. We all hope that Apple will quickly bring iWork's RTL support at least up to the level of TextEdit. You can tell them your own wishes in this regard here:

Pages (and other iWork apps) does not recognize new words

I don't know for sure whether the problem I'll say is about Pages 5.0 (and iWork, entirely) or about OS X Mavericks. As I'm new in the support community, I would ask to move the question to the right place if it is not already.
About the problem: after upgrading to OS X Mavericks and the new iWork versions, I have noticed one thing. Even though I add new words to Pages' dictionary as I write them, it seems like that makes no difference in a long time. The first insertion and correction are OK, but later, if I type the same new word, it becomes underlined in red, as a clear indication that it is wrong. However, when I go to see the correction options (by either Control-Clicking or Two-Finger-Clicking), no suggestions are shown. And worse, the only possibility (besides copying, cutting...) is to "Unlearn" that word as if it were already known and - presumably - correct.
The same appears to occur in the other iWork applications, but, as I don't do such heavy writing on them, I cannot give a certain opinion on them.
The problem, however, does not affect my productivity, but it is weird to see red marks on correct words. Especially in Engineering or Chemistry terms that are not built-in in those applications.
Just for additional details, I'm using both the system and the iWork applications in Brazilian Portuguese (as I am in Brazil).

However, doing as you said showed me two things: the problem does not exist in English, but occurs system-wide (all applications) in Portuguese.

Same problem here after update to 10.7.3 and I need to manually set the wireless. If I disable wireless and reable it again the wireless connects ok

There is no way to fix the bugs in Pages. If you are talking about an iOS device, try Textilus:

Impossible to update Keynote when other Iwork applications have been deleted?

I've got Keynote installed on my MacBookPro and would like to update my version 5.03 to 5.05.
However, after having downloaded the IWork update it says that it cannot perform the update as Pages cannot be found on my HD.
I always delete Pages (and whatever other applications are in the package, as I don't ever use them), and can't seem to find it neither backed up or the original installation DVD (maybe Iwork was already installed on the Mac when I got it - I can't remember).
So, my question is, is it possible to get an update that can update only Keynote ?
(or at least somehow bypass the installation package's problem that it cannot find Pages etc. ?)

Upon first-time turning on the Mac, you were asked for an Apple ID during the initialization routine. Whatever you entered, that's the one the App Store is expecting for letting you download the updates.

Try logging out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app and then log back in and see if those apps then show as free.

You won't be able to buy Pages from the Mac App Store on 10.6.8. You need to reload it from the original source.

Last time i bought iwork retail v9.0.3, then i tried to install it but it kept showing the error message. After i updated my mac, the iwork asked for a serial number and until today i can't use any of the iwork application. How can i solve this problem?

I think you have two separate issues & I'll try to answer in the order you need to address them.
First, it seems you have/had the trial of iWork '09 installed. It used to be that to update the trial to the licensed version with the box, you just inserted the DVD & ran the installer to convert the trial to licensed. This has changed with Snow Leopard. You now need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Next, you need to update iWork '09 to 9.0.5. If you're not running the latest versions & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. They must be in the iWork '08 or iWork '09 folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '08 or iWork '09. If it doesn't have the '08 or '09 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work.

Let me just step back to the opposite side of the room to read that!
You set up menu shortcuts, as you do for anything in OSX, in:
Menu > Apple > System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts
Just make sure you spell the menu option exactly, including Upper and lower case.

}A JavaFX application "tainted" by Swing is still a JavaFX application, isn't it?
Loading an HTML page into a native JavaFX control would be a different story. It is hard.
I don't think it is a top priority for JavaFX team to develop a control to render HTML. Using a Swing component, which supports HTML well, does not make a JavaFX application inferior. But, if JavaFX team could make a fully functional embedded browser control supporting HTML, JavaScript, etc., I would applaud that effort wholeheartedly.
Right now, JTextPane inside a JavaFX application will crash the system, display gibberish, hang for ever or go haywire inexplicably, if JavaScript is used in the HTML page.
