HEEEELP! I want to get English SR onto my PowerBook...

I want to get English SR from Older Software downloads (on floppies) to an old PowerBook 5300c. I don't want to strip the resource forks on the mac (I learned my lesson last time :p), so I am formatting floppies for Mac OS Standard, right. Then I end up only having 1.1 MB avalible on disk, and I need 1.4 MB pleeeeese help

Those diskettes actually hold 1.4 MB, if they fully formatted and do not have Bad Blocks. Mac OS X puts its invisible .DS_Store file on there, which makes it seem like you have only 1.1 or 1.2 useable. If you drag and drop the files with the Finder, you are stuck with that restriction.
If you use the procedure Niel suggested, using DiskCopy 6 under Classic or OS 9, it will erase the disk and copy the image onto the diskette sector-by-sector. As long as there are no bad blocks or other problems, a 1.3 MB DiskCopy image should fit just fine.

Sorry but your iPhoto library is not on an iPad or iPod - you may have photos there (most likely low resolution copies) but not an iPhoto library - dying computers (along with software and human errors) are why you always must have a backup - now is the time to load it

So i have the powebok g4 and i would like to watch youtube videos and other videos and online sites that require an upgrade of adobe flash player. However I cant seem to find out how to do it. I went to Adobe.com it didnt help. Problem i am getting is since my laptop isnt a intel based laptop, i can not get the adobe. What can i do? can someone help me please?! Thank you.

The last version that works with PowerPC Macs running Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or later is Flash Player 10.1 (specifically 10.1.102.64). I have it on my Power Mac G5.

That should be the installer you need.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

You can connect the iPad to your Mac's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, that should copy it over to the Movies part of your library.
Depending upon what country that you are in, and whether the film studio allows it, you might also be able to re-download it on your Mac via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page.

I have the same problem , i've converted my videos to mp4 , by using different programmes and tried to open them in itunes but it didnt .
Some people suggested the following although it didnt help me , it might help you
One suggested to paste the videos that you want in automatically add to itune ( go to your music folder m then click on itunes , then itunes media , and you will find it there )
Others suggested to o to the ontrol panal , then programmes and features m then lick on quick time (. Or itunes) then Change then repair

iPads sync to 1 computer only.
All media and apps are tied to the Apple ID that purchased them.
Without your relatives ID and password, you cannot update any of the Apps.
I am pretty certain he is also violating Apples terms of service by giving you the apps.

Before you sync your iPhone make sure that all the music that was synced to your phonereviously has been copied to your iTunes on the new MacBook Pro. Then when you connect your phone you will be able to either sync all music or select only those playlists that you want on the phone.
