Helix will not connect with keyboard and touch pad

This is kind of wierd.  It's been doing this since I've owned it.  I have a Thinkpad USB 3.0 port replicator.  When I get to work, I used to turn the screen around backwards on the keyboard and plug it into the PR.  That way all you could see was the screen.  Now I have a tablet stand and I remove it from the keyboard and set it in the stand.  The problem I'm having is that when I have it reversed on the keyboard OR off of the keyboard all together for a period of time (say, 30 minutes) and I re-attach it to the keyboard, I can't use the keyboard or trackpad unless I press the power button for 20 seconds and hard reset the tablet.  It see's the battery and plays the audio that tells me it see's it, but the pad and keyboard are unresponsive.  It's frustrating.  A standard reboot/restart will not fix the problem.  I have made sure my tablet and keyboard have the latest BIOS and firmware updates.

It's frustrating to have to force a restart every single time I want to dock it after it's been off the keyboard for more than 20 minutes.

Sometimes this works
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

    Every few minutes, I lose the connection between my wireless keyboard and track pad and the computer. Since its happening simultaneously, I don't think its an issue with either the trackpad or keyboard but bluetooth. I've tried turning my computer off and unplugging it and no dice.     Hey all - thanks. I've tried swapping batteries and my battery power is 100%. I've turned the computer off completely and back on. I've even unplugged it and turned off the keyboard and track pad.
    My computer will not let me turn Bluetooth off. It give me a warning sign that  I won't be able to use the computer and the only option is ok.
    I'm also not having any luck finding out the RSSI levels to see if there's any interference. As far as I know, there are only three devices via blue tooth and I turned off one (my iPhone) and the only other two are the track pad and keyboard.
    When I try  to follow the RSSI instructions, the option - click doesn't do anything. Very frustrated and thinking I'll need to schedule time with Apple. Today has been very frustrating.

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.     This is due to a change in Yahoo's security settings. You need to go into your Yahoo account settings and create a special App Password, then use that password in Contacts to access your account. Same goes for Calendar.

    When I click on the store it just never opens, I do not receive any message. I try to "refresh the page" and nothing. While having the store selected I go to "help" and check for updates and i get a message; "The iTunes updatte server could not be contacted" and it prompts me to check my internet connection which is fine.     Hi. My Hp Pavllion dv7 keyboard and touch pad will not work. Been going on for a few months now. Read in the support forum that replacing the battery might help however it hasnt. Ran updates for Windows Vista and Microsoft Security Ess. Boots up just fine however unable to place in my password to get to my user profile and always have to work from guest......unless I have a USB keyboard handly at the time. I use a USB wireless mouse as well.

    The keyboard and mouse (touchpad) are separate devices which could go bad at the same time but that would be a huge coincidence. I would try reseating the ribbon cables to the motherboard for both. Here is the Service Manual:

    Dude you have a jailbroken phone as stated in your first post, no need to do a second post.
    As per the forum term of service you can't get help here.  Use google.
    that's the downfall of jailbreaking your phone.

  • Keyboard and Touch-Pad Not Working After Having to Install New Hard Drive

    I had to install a new hard drive in my HP Pavillion DV9700t that has Vista Home Premium 64-bit.  After going through the recovery process with backup disk the built in keyboard and touch-pad do not work.  During the installation, an error message came up saying something along the lines of "the drivers are not supported by this verison of windows because they are unsigned."  The drivers that had that error were "hpqkbfiltr keyboard filter driver," "HP remote control HID Device," and "hpqkdfilter driver."  I tried to update the drivers for the keyboard from the hp website, but the keyboard and touch-pad still do not work.
    My question is, where do I find the digitally signed drivers for the keyboard and touch-pad that Vista won't flag and disable?

    When dealing with MS Fix It, I was choosing run.  Upon further investigation on that site, there really isn't a scan that applies to my issue anyways I tried the .NET Framework repair tool, and that seemed to work.  It told me to try re-running what I was having issues with, so I tried running the Windows PowerShell again, but again was faced with the following message "windows update standalone installer encountered an error: 0xc8000247." I went back to the .NET screen and hit "Next" because it didn't work, and that responded by saying they were going to submit logs to Microsoft.  I won't hold my breath on that one.
    I'm to the point where I honestly don't care anymore.  I have no idea what to do, because doing a clean install with the discs HP sent me isn't going to help because they are just recovery discs, and not an actual Windows disk.  This is the second hard drive I have had to put into my laptop and use those recovery disks on in the last 3-years.  The built-in keyboard hasn't worked during that time frame on either hard drive.  I don't think the recovery disks I was sent install properly.  Not sure where to go from here.  I spent way too much money on this laptop years ago having it custom built to handle all of my drafting programs, so I don't want to just kick it to the curb.  I was looking into the possibility of just replacing it, but I cannot stand the Windows 8 interface.
    I guess I should have fixed the issue with the keyboard on this hard drive before loading all of my programs.  Between the recovery disk install, formatting of the hard drive, and installing all of my programs it took well over 12 hours.  Not really looking forward ot that again Then there's shockwave and flash and all of the other goodies that my recovery disks won't restore anyways.
    Sorry if this seems like a negative post, but I'm just tired of trying to no avail.  Maybe I should just take it somewhere to get it looked at, but I can't see them being successful if the recovery disks won't help anyways.

    After reading the whole post, I still don't capture the exact error message or code from it when you failed to install Office 2013. 
    The only clue is that "bootstrap loader error" ...
    It seems that you want to upgrade Office 2007 to new Office 2013, by default, we could complete the uninstall previous Office version and install the new Office in the installation wizard.
    At this point, if you get the install source through CD or other media. I recommand that we copy/paste the installation to local drive. Then turn off all of anti-virus and firewall, begin to setup in
    Windows clean boot mode.
    Please use a setup log to troubleshoot setup problems in Office if the installation problem still occurs.
