Helllp! my nokia 5800 wont turn on...wont charge.....

I currently own a nokia 5800 and just recently it has broken completely not as in smashed up but i suspect a software problem because it will not do anything... wont charge, wont turn on, wont anything. Ive looked around the net and tried everything including hard reset but nothing has worked. Anyone else had this problem? So i was wondering... what should i do?? Am i able to send it off somewhere? Pleeeeeeaase help im dying without my music and texts.

Well unfortunately after you have dropped your phone in water it will most likely end its days due to corrosion after some time, but it could be other things too.
What you mean about force start? Hard reset?
If you haven't tried that, it's worth a shot, but if done successfully it will wipe contacts, messages etc off the phonememory. Otherwise you will have to take it to a Nokia care point for help.

Nokia 5800 - keep screen on when charging?

Is there a way to keep the screen of the Nokia 5800 turned on when the phone is plugged into a charger. This functionality was available on many older generation (non-Symbian) Nokia phones, but I can't find such a setting on the 5800.
Similarly, it would be useful to have a way to keep the phone unlocked when it is plugged into a charger.

Nokia 5800 wont boot

So i came home yesterday, Sent a text to my friend to log in to play some Cod with me.. I left my phone next to my bed,On a table.. I come back about 3-4 hours later the phone is dead, I figured i needed to charge the battery.. Put the charger in and went back to the computer, Came back another 2-3 hours later and still nothing.. It only vibrates when i try to boot it, I tried a hard reset Green/Red/Camera/Power key, But it doesnt work.. The phone just vibrates at the beginning, then it keeps vibrating with a 3-5 seconds interval between them..
I've removed the memory card and the sim card, Still doesnt boot up..
I've removed the battery and had it out for 5-10 mins, Still wont boot
And i think it's the newest firmware version..Its my dads phone,My 5800 broke a few weeks back..
I've tried with a different battery, Didn't fix it
Is there anyway to fix it or do i need to turn it in for repairs?

Nokia 5800 wont startup after upgrade to firmware ...

Never had a problem with my phone. I upgraded from v30 to v52 and phone upgraded without a problem and was fully functional. Turned phone off last night and when tried to turn it on this morning I get the nokia screen, then goes blank and then dies. Dont even get to the handshake. on numerous start up attempts i get "phone start-up failed, contact the retailer". Any ideas?? Thanks

Samsung WEP250 Nokia 5800!

i have had problems connecting my new Samsung WEP250 Bluetooth Headset to my Nokia 5800. i turn on the headset, then i go into "Settings" "Connectivity" and turn Bluetooth on. Under "Paired Devices" i select "Options" and "New Paired Device" the phone starts searching but after 5 seconds comes up with no relusts. What could cause this problem? i am on firmware V 20.0.012 so i have tried updating the phones firmware but to no avail. i am situated in South Africa and the phone is on Vodacom contract.

make sure that the WEP250 is is pairing mode, turn it off and then turn it on and keep pressing the button untill the blue light is ON

Try removing the memory card, and turning it on while plugged it.
Also try it with a new battery.
This also happened to me once, I even hard reset it and nothing happened. Turned out to be that the battery died suddenly.

Nokia N95 wont start up

Hi All,
my Nokia N95 wont start up,
this morning I tried to listen to the radio thru my Nokia N95, but no sound was coming out of the headphones so I thought it was a bug and I decided to turn my phone off and on again, and I havent been able to get it to turn back on since.
When I try to turn it on, the nokia logo appears, but the screen isnt properly backlit (looks like its on standby), there is no vibration that I normally get when I turn it on,and then after a few seconds the screen fades off as if the power to it was cut.
When I turned the phone off it still had 2 bars of battery left, I have tried charging the phone, and removing the battery, and I also tried holding down different buttons as I started the phone, but so far no luck.
the phone is probably about 8 months old, roughly.
tl;dr: phone wasnt outputting sound, I tried to restart it and it never started again.
any help would be appreciated!

Looks like you have already tried removing the battery and leaving it out for a vew minutes as well as the 3 finger reset. But just in case you were not doing it right, I'll explain it again.
Don;t forget to backup your phone before trying any of this.
Firstly take the battery out for 5 minutes and then replace and see if that makes any difference.
Then try the "3 finger deep reset" which is depress these three keys simultaneously "*" "3" "green phone" and then power on phone whilst keeping those same three keys depressed until you hear start-up tone.
This should ONLY be done if the device doesn't power up normally anymore and it wipes everything in the Phone memory that is not part of the ROM.
Also try restarting without the memory card.
If none of the above works then you will have no choice but to send it to your Nokia Care Point.

5800 wont start up with memorycard inside the phon...

My 5800 wont start with the memory card inside the phone. When the card is in the phone it just hangs with a white screen displaying the word NOKIA. When the card is removed the phone can be powered on and off without any issues. Any ideas?

is the card compatible ?it could also be a corrupt memory card. you can either try to reformat it via computer using the mass memory mode via usb and also store your data on the computer. try another card and see if the same thing happens. you might not be able to format the memory card you currently use, but if you are lucky enough you might be able. if you do indeed suceed you can try that card in the phone and see how that works.

This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. Try:
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
