ever since firefox updated to version six i am having some issues with games on facebook and also loading several sites. i'm getting a lot of time outs. i would like to go back to firefox 5. please advise
Sorry, Swanarva, It didn't work as it was supposed to. I downloaded, saved file, clicked the download to open, clicked 'run' then got an error message that it couldn't find the file(!) . No idea what happened or why. Should I have uninstalled Firefox first, then downloaded Firefox 8 using another browser or downloaded, uninstalled Firefox 09 beta then tried installing Firefox 8?
At this rate, IE is looking good, despite its shortcomings.

I am having issues with my Window 7 on boot camp. My hardware is Macbook Pro Mid 2010 model and working on OS X 10.9.5. Recently I went to windows 7 to do a system upgrade but failed and was told to update the bootcamp drivers. I installed boot camp5 but seem to be the wrong version and change to boot camp 4 which was updated okay. However I still cannot do the updates. Can someone advice me please? Thank you!

Be careful with Windows Updates, especially driver updates. Standard WHQL drivers can cause problems. -
After the recent update I am having issues with Flash based games freezing and not responding.
After the recent update I am having issues with flash based programs not running or loading correctly. The programs will not load or take an extremely long time to load compared to jsut a few days ago. This happens across the board on anything flash based. Also, once they do load they will freeze, stop responding or need to be constantly refreshed to come back alive which is short lived at best. I went thru the help and did all the file deleting, cache clearing, disabling hardware acceleration, removing then reinstalling flash, and even removing and reinstalling my browsers. None of this has helped at all. I am using Chrome and it is up to date and I checked my Flash player and it is up to date. I am running windows 7 64bit.
Here's what you're up against guys,
Adobe writes the base code for Flash Player, and then hands it off to Google, who adapt it to a PPAPI plug-in (it's NPAPI when Adobe writes it). It's then "PepperFlash" and Google embeds it in their Chrome browser. While Google is pushing a "webwide" move to PPAPI Flash Content, a reinvention of the wheel so to speak, not everyone "got the memo", and Google is slowly making it so that PepperFlash will block NPAPI Flash content from running properly, and you have to disable PepperFlash to force the NPAPI plug-in to work, which sometimes fixes it, sometimes not. I have a feeling this is only going to get worse. HTML5 will eventually resolve the video end but game developers need to come up with something that won't require a plug-in.
And to the first post: Since PepperFlash is embedded in Chrome by Google, you can uninstall and reinstall Flash Player from here until your hard drive literally seizes up.... guess what? It has NO EFFECT at all on the PepperFlash plug-in in Chrome because it's a separate file in a separate folder and the uninstaller & installers don't have anything to do with it. -

Open up a Firefox window.
2.
Click on the "Bookmarks" menu and select "Manage Bookmarks." If you are using Firefox 3.6.2, then you need to click on "Organize Bookmarks..."

In the window that pops up click on the "File" menu and select "Import." In case of Firefox 3.6.2, click on "Import and Backup" just above the list. Then click on the "Import HTML" option from the drop-down list. A new window comes up.
4.
Select the "Microsoft Internet Explorer" option if you are importing favorites from Internet Explorer on the same computer. Then click next. If you are importing from a file of saved bookmarks or favorites choose "From File" and click next.
5.
Select the file in the open window that pops up and then click "Open" if you are importing from a file. Firefox will do the rest for you. If importing from Internet Explorer, just click "Finished" when it's done. -
I have CS2 and would like to do Image Stacking. I understand CS3 allows this. correct? Am I wiser to purchase CS3 upgrade. Am I going to run into issues with install?
Well, I refuse to sign up to pay Adobe a monthly tribute for life too, but that doesn't mean we are limited to CS3.
I'm staying with CS6.
Adobe still sells a perpetual-license to Photoshop CS6 without the subscription model, but it's $700 for the Standard version and a cool $1,000 for the Extended version.
You haven't mentioned your platform, Macintosh or Windows, so make sure CS3 or any other obsolete version you buy actually runs on a modern operating system.

Has iTunes Match been flaky for anyone else lately. I have been having issues with some of my songs. Some of the songs play, some skip.
Either import your Songs into a new clean library, or rebuild your existing library - it would appear your current library is corrupt.

ipod nano 7th generation having issues with the UI. Out of box everything worked great. Once I snyc the device and it finished, the UI becomes unuesable. You have to double tap every icon in order to open music, videos, etc. I cannot swipe to the second page of icons, black box appears around an icon and then switches to a different one anytime I swipe. A box even appears around the time and battery power. iPod & iTunes are both updated. What is the FIX on this issue?
I had this problem as well. This is what I found by searching online. I tried the fix on my nano 7th gen and it worked. I hope this helps you. Make sure to use two fingers for sliding and double-click the icons to get into settings. Good luck.

I've used Firefox for a while on my MacBook Pro (about 1.5 years old) and it's worked great. Should be fully updated too. Immediately after I upgraded my OS to Mountain Lion, some websites wouldn't load correctly (looked like html or something). Also some websites like YouTube show video fine, but then at least one other website doesn't show the video window at all, much less play it. Safari doesn't have that problem. Any ideas?

CSRF verification failed. Request aborted. when i go to www.justin.tv i have to refresh the chat for it to update and i have to refresh to see new messages and to see users in the userlist in firefox. and i didn't have this problem on older versions of firefox.
another problem i have is any website that uses zhsare.net it doesn't play videos and it shows a white screen

You should be able to import them into Mozilla Firefox using the Bookmarks dialouge window.
In Firefox, go to the Menu bar and choose Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks. Once the dialouge window has popped up, choose Import and Backup. Now, choose the appropriate option and then browse for the file you saved using Internet Explorer.

Appart from the non indefferent fact that is becoming just like that other giant microsoft and it took me 20 minutes to get everything settled before i could actually ask a **** question which by chance arose from the fact that i was wasting time not being able to access some login page i usually can access from my ipad2. The problem seams to be the new ios6 which i fullheartly installed but appart from the everchanging funcionalities that are fine when you are a teen but are a nuisance when you have little time there seam to be changed under the hood to that dont allow for the normal use i make of the internet.
Question: is it possible to switch back to IOS5 after having installed IOS6? How long can the proccess be ? Will it have any other magic apple effect?
Ps: im starting to think that other guy microsoft was not that much of an evil money making babylonlike creature. Maybe is just the scale of success that turns friendly companies to anonymous "robbers".Appart from the non indefferent fact that is becoming just like that other giant microsoft and it took me 20 minutes to get everything settled before i could actually ask a **** question which by chance arose from the fact that i was wasting time not being able to access some login page i usually can access from my ipad2. The problem seams to be the new ios6 which i fullheartly installed but appart from the everchanging funcionalities that are fine when you are a teen but are a nuisance when you have little time there seam to be changed under the hood to that dont allow for the normal use i make of the internet.
Question: is it possible to switch back to IOS5 after having installed IOS6? How long can the proccess be ? Will it have any other magic apple effect?
