Question

Please clarify the following questions and assign points for good answer....
1.What is the diff. between Automatic Payment Program(APP) and Automatic Clearing Program(ACP)?
2.What is the purpose of Varient in APP and how you can create varient in F110?
3.Which GL A/cs can maintain Open Item Management(OIM) and which gl a/cs cannot be maintain OIM. While create GL A/cs user forgot to select OIM under the co.code data and after posting some business transactions, again client wants to change it to OIM. can we do this, if yes How?

APP: A program for automatic payments to vendors, can be used for receiving payments from customers,
Automatic Clearing Program: Clears all the open line items once the payment run is made.
It is configured in Financial Accounting -> General Ledger Accounting -> Business Transactions -> Open Item Clearing -> Prepare Automatic Clearing
Variant in F110: A variant in F110 takes care of the printout medium. After the payment run, payment media are created. You need to have a variant created for the program that you use for example program RFFOUS_C is used for check. Variant will control how the check looks like.
