I've got an quesstion:
I got Microsoft office 2010 x86 on my windows 7 PC.
With the iCloud program V 1.0.1
I checked all boxes : mail, contacts, calanders/ tasks, bookmarks, photo stream
Now the question is..
When i open my outlook, i can see my mail from my icloud account..
But is there a possible way, that icloud sync my outlook 2010 with the contacts and calenders to?
Because all i can see is my mail, my calander and contacts are empty?
Isnt that what iCloud stand for, auto sync?
Or is the only way to put contacts by checking in iTunes the contacs and calanders??
So its not possible that icloud sync auto, like it sync from iphone 4s to ipad, to icloud.com...
So what i try to say is if you add contact on your iphone 4s whereever you are.. that it auto sync with oudlook 2010 like it does on icloud.com and my ipad 2
same idea as photostream..

IPhone locked to a stranger's icloud account- please help I am not a thief
I had bought iPhone 5 from AT&T the day it was released. After using it for a year and half, I decided to gift it to my dad. I completely wiped the phone to it's factory settings and shipped it to my dad. After my dad received the phone, he took it to a local store to get a new screen protector and a case. After he returned back home, he tried to use the phone but surprisingly the phone was in a lost mode with a message showing it is currently linked to an Apple ID d…[email protected]. Initially he thought the apple id that was showing on the phone belonged to me and asked me to remove it from the device. However, the problem was the apple id didn’t belong to me. I tried to contact the the email address and the phone number that was showing on the screen but they turned out to be bogus. My dad went back to the store but the owner of the store denied doing anything like that. I did some research on Google and came across this discussion where a person is also having the exact same “locked to a stranger’s apple id” issue. At this point, I am not sure if it was the store owner who locked my device or it is a bug in the iCloud system of which Apple is not aware of? I called Apple Support but the rep was kind of rude and just dismissed the case. Then I went to the Apple store with the proof of purchase and the original box but was turned back to Apple Support. The second rep whom I spoke with was professional and sounded helpful but it has been a week and haven't heard back from him yet.
I guess Apple is finding difficulty trying to decide who the true owner of the phone is? Me who have the proof of purchase or the stranger who has provided bogus email address and phone number? Looks like Apple is not willing to help me at all. Is filing a case at small claim court the only option left for me?I respect your opinion but I don’t agree with it. In the real world, you don't have to involve the police if you simply loose your keys or if it gets stolen. There is nothing a police can do because the car is never stolen and is just sitting at the mall's parking lot all the time. Remember, only the keys were stolen. In my phone's case, the phone was never stolen however I do agree that it was in a vulnerable position when I did the factory reset and removed my icloud account from it. If a device is in such a position then anybody who has the physical access to the device can lock the device with their icloud account. And this is exactly what happend to my phone and this is exactly what I have been trying to explain to Apple Support. I understand they cannot just trust me and unlock the phone for me, but I expect them to tell me what's the next step for me to take. What document or proof do they need from me to show that I am the true owner? I can try and get the police involved even though the device is never stolen, but I first need to know which city police should I get involved- is it the Dallas Police, my home town police or the stranger’s home town police? The email address and the phone number shown on the locked screen are totally bogus and they don’t exist at all. I don’t even know where this stranger lives. Apple Support is simply ignoring me presuming that I am the thief and not trying to resolve the issue at all.

I just solved this issue! Here's the solution in case anyone else is experiencing the same problem: I had him link his phone number to his Apple ID by adding his his phone number to his contact in his Contacts List. After that, messages sent to his phone number are blue.
I'm guessing his phone number was disconnected from his Apple ID when he somehow toggled off iMessage. -

Hi, Yes, I bought new sim (64k) from Airtel gallery...and now i'm on version 5.1.1...Sometimes it works but if i turn on the 3g then the network went down and showing me a "NO SERVICE" error...i have to wait till the network come...it's a headche..I think i have to go again in gallery and want to ask for new sim with 128k...Any suggestions on this plz?

It's not uncommon for it to not work the first time and sometimes, you have to try it a few times. Turn off your antivirus software and your firewall while you are trying to restore the iPad. Enable them again after you restore.
If that still won't work, post back with detailed information as to what exactly does happen as you go through the process. -

I have a problem syncing iCal on my Macbook air (10.7.5) and my iPhone 4s (5.1.1) over iCloud. The following server error message comes up "The request (CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation) for account “iCloud” failed." Been to Apple Store - no luck instore, or with Super genius over the phone when with genius in store, taking data in real time via ethernet!
I had to do a full wipe of my system because of time machine back up issues 2 weeks ago, and the error has only occured at some point since then. I only did a drag and drop of my user account folders/files into an External HDD rather than a copy of my user account (advised by the staff in store at Apple to do this) and when reimported, the Mail folders are all present but each message is in a sub-sub-sub folder that is numerically named. I do not have a mirror image of the hard disk prior to the wipe, only a time machine back up from 2 weeks prior to it being done. I am uncertain if this reinstall has caused the issue.
I am not happy to upgrade the software in my iPhone until I have the calendars working. I have purchased Mountain Lion, but again am concerned about upgrading until the issues are sorted.
I have tried the other solutions on here with no luck. HELP please.

I made a back of what existing phtos and Videos I had on my Iplhone. I used Image capture to do this making an entire back up of photos and videoa that were still intact on the phone.
Image capture is god for this purpose, as it does exactly what you ask it to do without applying any rules or squishing the files back into iphote (which might also be corupted)
Image capture wil do the basic function of retriving the contents of the phone and save them as native files on your hard drive.
Once I did this I erased my iphone, and re intitialised it restoring an older back up from icloud.
As the retore was happneing - I did retreive the missing files that cuased the intial beviour as above, and I could play the videos that were missing in the above scenerio. The wierd ting was however that even though the source files were now back on the device, the thumbnail previews were missing. Where I ahd balck thumb nails for server portions of the resotred content.
I then went to bed as the restore is a long process. When I woke up the library had library had cleaned itself up. Mysteriously the prcess had deleted the files missing the their thumbnails.
This is very perculiar and bad behavior.
I am now repeating the process, and will attempt to download the missing content as it is restored and prior to the phone trying to fix itself.
Here are the lessons learned.
DO NOT rely on Photo Stream to keep back ups and synchornise videos from you IOS device. IT DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS CAPBILITY
DO NOT rely on iCloud Back Up alone - always fd an occassional iTunes back up or more reliably still always take a back up of photos and video files using Image Capture to be doubly sure that you a have backd up any content.
DO THIS NOW - dont wait to loose your phone ofr have your phone repaired by replacement at the apple Store. (I did both :-(
