Connect it to do what? If you want to play the media on your iMac through your Playstation, for instance, there's MediaLink:

Is it possible to connect an old cinema display (ADC) to an Imac (2012)?

I want to add a second screen to my Imac and I found a Cinema Display (ADC). I went to see the screen and i connect it to my Macbook to test if it works. The guy who sold the screen had an ADC to DVI adapter and I bought an DVI to thunderbolt connector. It didn't work. He also tried to connect it to his Imac and still the screen didn't work. Is it even possible to connect the screen to an Imac?Is it the Apple version of the DVI to ADC adapter? The signals from a Mini DisplayPort (or Thunderbolt) to DVI adapter may be weaker than normal DVI signals. The Apple DVI to ADC adapter amplifies the DVI signals, so can work with signals that are too weak for non-Apple adapters.
An ACTIVE Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter may produce stronger DVI signals.

Connecting a PS3 to my IMAC G5
Anyone knows if it is possible to connect a PS3 to an IMAC? My assumption is that I could connect it if I could find a mini display to HDMI adapter. Any thoughts? Recommendation?

My TV is mounted on a wall so I can't connect the Apple TV device. Is it possible to connect to an HD Cable Box and send signal to TV that way? Other problem is that Box only has one HDMI socket so would also have to use a splitter. Tried Apple Support but couldn't offer a solution. I can't be the only person with this issue surely?
Help!No, unless you are using a home theatre system already, your only option is to connect to the TV.

Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly.

Sorry it won't work. It will fit but the laptop can't communicate with it. Please see many of the other threads here, specifically this one just above your post, that is discussing this exact question.
Apple's specs for the ThunderBolt display state that it needs a ThunderBolt-enabled computer. Your laptop has a mini-display port connection so it is not compatible with the new displays. -

It turned out that WD is the big bad guy in this game.
According the data rescue company where I asked for an inspection, both of the drives had their reader head loose. And in the one, which was my already-in-use disk its even damaged the platters... xxxxx
So its time to pay bunch of money to recover, and take a walk to wd service to bang on the desk.
Also note - it may be somehow related to intellispeed technology - since macs not really friendly with wd-s built-in solutions.
On the other hand, with WD GP 1Tb there is no problems at all for ages.

For my day job I am required to use a Lenovo Thinkpad X240 and would like to use my Thunderbolt display. Is it possible to connect? I am not concerned about audio capabilities. If yes what adapters should I use?
I have a similar situation, however my Lenovo is an X1Carbon and it DOES have a thunderbolt port. Can I use my Levono X1Carbon with my apple thunderbolt external monitor? I have tried plugging it in, however it doesn't seem to be working? Is there something specific that I need to do?

JSBy design, the iPhone syncs or manually manages iTunes content with ONE computer at a time. Thus, it is not possible to do what you want. You need to pick one computer & stick with that computer.
You are correct, the iPhone 3G cannot be updated past iOS 4.2.1...the end of the line for that model iPhone. Thus, any apps that require a higher iOS version will not install or run on your phone. -

Is there an AUX port? If so, you can by the necessary auxillary cable. It won't work with the USB port connection.
