Hello, Aspire V3-571G-6407 keeps beeping!

Hello, I own an Aspire V3-571G-6407 which recently updated itself to Windows 8.1.Last night it suddenly started beeping, as it charges itself on and off. The level of the battery is 100% but I cannot keep the laptop plugged in anymore at this level, as it keeps beeping with the screen getting slightly darker and then beeping with the screen getting bright again every 10-15 seconds. I never had this issue before. I spoke to a Windows techical support but they claim this is not a Windows issue but a manufacturer's problem. I removed the battery and plugged the laptop cord in and it works just fine. Also, once the battery is at 100%, and I unplug the cord with the battery plugged in, the beeping stops but, of course that is because the power cord is unplugged. What causes this annoying beeping and will I be able to use my laptop with the power cord plugged in even if the battery level is at 100%? (I am currently charging my laptop and it is at 97% with no beeping. The beeping only starts at 100%.)

Yes, it will delete everything. You should save all your files to a USB drive. Are you at the latest bios?Windows search Systen Information/ Bios Version/Date? Newest UEFI for Windows 8 BIOSAcerBIOS - UEFI for Windows 8 (Not for Upgrades)

  • Certain keyboard keys don't work Acer Aspire V3-571G

Hello, A few months ago I began to have issues with my Acer Aspire V3-571G-9435 where certain keys would intermittently stop working. Most often it would be the "A" key, along with less frequently the "C" and "Z" keys, and somtimes other keys. Within a minute or so they would start working again. A couple weeks ago, however, several of the keys, including the "A" "C" "Z" "F" "," "." and some other keys stopped working altogether (all at once). Following some guides I found online, I took the laptop apart and was able to take the keyboard ribbon cable out of its connector and put it back in, thinking it may be a loose connection issue. However, this did not fix the issue. I went online and ordered a new keyboard from Amazon, thinking the keyboard itself might be broken. After installing the new keyboard however, and entirely NEW set of keys have stopped working, including "J" "Q" "T" "U" "P" "1" and a few other keys. (However most of the keys that weren't working previously are working again). Does anyone have any other suggestions about what I should do? I've been using an external USB keyboard, which works fine, except obviously portability is sacrificed. I'm unsure if this is a hardware or software issue, as a brand new keyboard still isn't working properly. Could there still be something wrong with the connection? Is there a possible software/diver issue? Thanks for any help.

    jmckeen,
A new keyboard means a new ribbon cable so that leaves the only constant, the motherboard; pending the unit was not damaged in any way from like dropping it or spilling something on it. If you are in warranty I would see about creating a repair for it. Here is the link to set up repairs online, or you can chat online with a technician (available 24/7).

  • Hello.  How do I keep the actual size of a photo when adding to a Keepsake?  Used to do this but have forgotten how!

Hello.  How do I keep the actual size of a photo when adding to a Keepsake?  Used to do this but have forgotten how!  Need help please!
    T.

    Here is my suggestion:
Open a blank, new file (File>new>blank file) size 8.5x11"
    Open the collage
    Go to Select>all
    Go to Edit>copy
Go back to the blank file created in step #1
Go to Edit>paste. The collage will be on its own layer
Access the move tool, and with the corner handles resize the collage. Using the corner handles should preserve the aspect ratio. If you open the rulers, you will have a point of reference as you go along.
Print a draft copy to see if it will be suitable in the frame..
Please report back with your progress.

  • Why does my MacBook pro keep beeping 3 times. The screen is frozen.

Like my MacBook Pro keeps beeping 3 times and pausing for 2 seconds. The screen is frozen.  How do I fix this and what is going on?

That is  a RAM issue, do you have any spare ram you can swap to confirm?  Possible causes:
    a ram module going bad
    installation of incompatible ram
your ram may have become dislodged
    I would suggest:
    - removing all ram from your MBP, and reinstall it to see if that helps.
    - if you recently installed new ram, remove it, then restart the computer with  the old ram to see if this helps.

  • Ipod keep beeping but won't recharge

when i plug my ipod on the computer with the usb cable, it keep beeping and the top right corner where the charging icon is switch restlessly between charging and normal. Also, Itunes won't recognize my ipod, like its not ewven plugged in ! I klnow its not the cable because I tried with a friends usb cable and same thing happens. I tried to press on-off and menu for 10 second till I get the apple logo but it doesn't help.
what can I do, my ipod is barely 6 months old !

See if placing the iPod in recovery mode will allow iTunes to see the iPod so you can restore it. For recovery mode see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • MacBook Pro is not turning on and keeps beeping. Please help!!

My MacBook Pro 13" is not turning on. It keeps beeping three times then pauses and repeats. It froze earlier today and I had to force a shutdown. I've done this before and it's worked fine. How do I get it to work again??? Please help.

Three beeps at startup indicates that your RAM hasn't passed the integrity check and one of the modules is faulty.

  • Every time i try to sync my 4th gen ipod touch itunes won't recognise it and the ipod keeps beeping - is there anything I can do?

This is really frustrating.  Every time i try to sync my 4th gen ipod touch itunes won't recognise it and the ipod keeps beeping - is there anything I can do? I've tried using different cables. Itunes works fine with my family members ipod's & iphones...

The best way to manage your music when you have multiple iPods is to change the settings under "Options" so that you manually manage your music instead of it doing an automatic synch each time you connect.  To add only the songs you want, highlight them and then "click and drag" them to your iPod.  This way none of your daughter's music gets added and you're not in danger of deleting your playlist as well.  It will show you how many songs you've added and you can then click on your iPod to verify.  To delete her songs off your iPod now, click on the music tab under your iPod so show everything you have stored.  Find those songs you want to delete, click on them to highlight then go up to the Edit window and click delete. This will erase them off your iPod but be careful when you highlight.  I did that and then had to reload a cd on my boyfriend's, lol. hope this helps

  • My macbook screen won't turn on and it keeps beeping at me...help!

I tryed turning on my macbook pro 13'' and the screen won't turn on and it keeps beeping at me and flashing the white light on the front of the computer at the same time.  any suggestions?

Beeping sounds usually indicate a RAM or logicboard problem.
If you have third party RAM recently installed, put the factory RAM back in.
Use the free MacTracker to find out your correct RAM spec and return the defective RAM for a exchange or buy top tier RAM from Crucial.com or OtherWorld Computing.
If you didn't mess with the RAM, take the machine to Apple for a free eval.

  • Km2m- just keeps beeping

I own the VIA-KM266 motherboard from the KM2M series and it works fine....I just have one problem:
-The board keeps beeping "high-low-high-low-high-low" pitches from time-to-time. Sometimes it will beep for a while then stop, and other times it just keeps going and going until I hafta just turn my machine off. Any ideas why this may be happenin'?????
F.Y.I. I'm a rookie at this, so take it easy on me...
    Thnx- :

Anything lower than 60ºC isnt "BAD" for your processor, but it could be MUCH lower with proper cooling.  Try to stay in mid to high 30ºC's - mid 40ºC's and your really good.  You can take a look at my temps listed below and get a good idea of what they could be, with the proper cooling solution.  Also make sure you have good air-flow in your case.  That is a key player in cool cpu operation.  If you do decide to get a new CPU Heatsink/Fan, opt for one that surpasses your cpu specification by a long shot, its okay to get something that is meant for something much more powerful, becasuse your cpu can never be cool enough (unless you have water cooling  I have an athlon XP 2000+ with a CPU fan meant for a processor up to an Athlon 3200+.  And, copper is always the way to go for very cool temps (i have an aluminum heatsink with a copper block on the bottom.)  And, just put a small drop of thermal paste on your cpu core, by the cpu die (which is the little discolored square on the cpu core)  and install your heatsink so the tabbed risen part is over the risen part of the cpu socket.  Putting too much thermal paste on your cpu could result in higher cpu temps because then it acts like an insulator, or if you put mounds of it on, it could ooze onto your cpu and damage it.
    hope this helps
    you dont want this -

This device keeps beeping every 10 seconds, I have tried remove the battery when the BB was on, waiting for 1 minute, put it again.
    I have looked all configurations.
I don´t have any idea and want to throw it in the window.
    Any ideas? Hints?

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I have found the solution. This is a bug beetween a software in the SIM Card from the network operator and the BlackBerry device. It´s already solved. I had to follow some steps to enable and disable a specific feature of the network operator and wait for a dialog box to confirm my operation.
The beeps comes with the dialog box, but the dialog box only apears if you are in a specific screen of the blackberry. If you are in the home screen, it will not appear and you only hears the beep.

  • Dolby Advanced Audio for Aspire V5-571G Windows 10

I'm using an Acer Aspire V5-571G laptop and I just today upgraded it to Windows 10.  I need to download Dolby software (near the power putton, it says "Dolby Advanced Audio | Virtual SurroundSound", so I'm thinking I have get Dolby Advanced Audio).  I'm having trouble finding a good place to download it from, though, so could somebody help me?  Thanks in advance.

Hi, I Had the Same problem on my V5-571GThe only driver that ever worked properly with Dolby was the driver for The V5-552G on windows 8 (not 8.1) This will work on your computer even if different model... the new driver on the Acer site for winodws 10 has not work either. So the one I´m using is: Audio_Realtek_6.0.1.6878_W8x64_A To Download the Driver and Software needed Go to: http://www.acer.co.in/ac/en/IN/content/drivers and Go: Ultra-Thin / Aspire / V5-552G To get dolby to work: 1. Uninstall the current driver, and any software related to it (the dolby software) 2. restart 3. Install the driver for windows 8 (in my case it installed dolby automatically but I´ll explain how to install it manually below) 4. Restart twice (yes, I always had to restart twice after the install otherwise manually installing dolby would not work and I got an error when trying to run the install) 5. In the driver folders you downloaded and unzipped go to the folder "PCEE4" and run "DolbyAdvancedAudio.msi" 6.If you dont get the "Install PCEE" error, restart and you should be able to enjoy dolby (when its not acting up). If you get the error then you may have not followed the instructions properly. Go back to step 1 Good luck

  • My iPod keeps beeping when charging (iOS7)

I just got iOS7 and whenever i plug my iPod touch in, it keeps beeping over and over. It also pops up with the notification "This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably". This is a new cable and it was made by apple. Any help would be great

Sounds like there is a problem with the cable.
Do you have another cable you can try to confirm this?
You may need to make an appointment with your local Apple store to have them replace if it is isn't working.

  • Mac keeps beeping !!

my mac keeps beeping while pressing keys - basically when they are unnecessary to press- does anyone have any idea ?

my mac keeps beeping while pressing keys - basically when they are unnecessary to press- does anyone have any idea ?
If you press a key within certain contexts, your Mac will beep to alert you to the fact that what you're doing is not an allowable action. For example, in Safari, choose About Safari. A small window will open. As long as it is open, pressing keys will cause a beep. Is that the sort of thing you're seeing? If so, the solution is simple: quit pressing keys!
If it is beeping like this at a time when you think it should be accepting your keypresses, you're going to have to be more specific about what you're seeing.
