Hi guys.. my name is john david vista from cavite and i want to know whats the real cost to my iPhone4 white 16GB globe locked. i try to ask 4 technician 1st thech said.. POWER IC? they tryed to put diffrent battery and charging pin.. and the 2nd tech said the same way.. and do the same way again.. and then the 3rd tech is my friend and i ask him and he said the same way he check the battery and charging pin again.. then suddenly while he's checking my phone, its appear an apple icon like you turned on the cp.. and he said POWER IC then 4th tech from grinhills shopping centre virra mall.. he said we need to rebulls?? my iphone to check the board.. he said the damage is not? POWER IC ? because he saw an charger icon? like if you're low battery .. he said he will try to rebulls but the time is short to do it . im tired going to somewhere just to open my phone please help me i want to fix my phone ? and how much the board? if ill buy? and how much the power ic prize when i go to tech and to repair my phone please help me pls guys!! im super tired i dont have much money because this iphone only gift to me and dont have warranty anymore give me feed back please!
If I understand you correctly ,you have had various people Who are not Apple Emplyees poking around in your iPhone
Apple does not repair iPhones they exchange them so if you have had the iPhone 4 tampered with by unauthorised technicians ,Apple will NOT assist you in any way with that iPhone

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost). -

The only catch might be your screen size.... but others seem to be able to use such a screen without much issue.. They have to do a little scrolling, in windowed mode, (as they cannot use full screen mode ) to see everything but thats about it. (I personally have never used such a screen so i am relying here on others testimony)
The i3 isn't the world most powerful processor but you will be able to use LPX's freeze and bounce features should you find you tax the processor/memory too much by using too many tracks at the same time....
Its really all down to what you plan to do with LPX and what sort of end results are you looking for... -
Can you please help solve my sudden problem saving photos in version sets?
Saving edited photos in Version Set
Ever since I have owned the excellent Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0, I have saved edited photos in a version set with the original. Now, in spite of the 'save in Version Set' box being ticked, they are saved separately. When the edited photo is saved, it says 'imported from hard disk'. It has never said this before.
When the photos are imported from the camera, they are saved in Adobe/Digital Camera Photos/code provided by photoshop (eg 2006-03-10-1632-38). Under properties/history it says imported from Panasonic DMZ-TZ3. This has not changed. All the saving arrangements appear to be unchanged.
Photos (thousands!) have been successfully edited and saved in a Version Set. Under properties/history it says 'edited version' and 'imported from Panasonic DMZ-TZ3'.
Suddenly, photos that have been edited and should have been saved in a version set, now say under properties/history nothing about being edited. They say 'imported from hard disk'. In other words they are being treated as a new photo.
I really hope you can help me to solve this infuriating problem. Please ask if you need more information.

MichaelMichael: are you still using an old version o0f PSE (e.g. PSE V4)? Problems similar to the one that you described are relatively frequent in old PSE Versions ( I was suffering a lot from them)..... and there are quite seldom in newer PSE versions. Unfortunately, I do not remember which PSE Version became much better in this area (was it V5? or V6?)
If using an older PSE version and encoutering often the problem: consider to migrate to a newer PSE Version.. -

I'm using a MacBook Pro with Maverick. I installed Maverick yesterday and ever since then I've had problems with Keychain. I realize that many people have had problems with it post Maverick installation. However, since I'm relatively unfamiliar with Macsy systems I would like to find out the following:
1) How essential are the entries in Keychain i.e. if I delete them all, will it affact the functionality of my MacBook Pro?
2) How do I delete all the entries if doing so won't cause any problems?
3) Is there something else I can do to fix the problem without deleting everything in Keychain?
At the moment, when I logon to my Pro, I have to enter my password and a password related to Keychain. This is the message that pops up:
OS X want to use the 'Local Items' Keychain. Please enter the keychain password.
I select cancel and are then logged in to my Pro. However, various other apps are then affacted by the Keychain, most notably my iCloud. I am unable to log into my iCloud through System Preferences because it requires a Keychain password. Safari is also affected by it.
This is extremely frustrating because I didn't set up a Keychain password. It seems I'm stuck in a loop. I've tried to reset the Keychain and to restore to defaults, but in order to do so, I have to enter a pasword, which I don't know.
I just want to start again or remove Keychain, but as far as I can tell, it is not possible to get rid of Keychain.

It was al very complicated and I had enough really, so I decided to take some drastic action.
I created another admin user account, ensured that it was working, went to user accounts and deleted my original account with the problem. It is working fine now.
I know this is not really a solution, but it was fine for me since I had just set up my original user account, so there wasn't anything to lose really. -
Can anyone please help with my G580 problems?
These days my IdeaPad G580 has been showing serious problems: 1) I can't shut down the laptop by clicking the desktop button. Sometimes I may succeed by pushing the hardware button, but very often this won't help either. 2) I can't open the Skype app. Everytime I click on the Skype tile it just displays the blue colour for some seconds and then returns to the start menu. I have to uninstall and then install the app again. Yet the next time I try to open the app, the same problem arises. I can't just keep uninstalling and installing the app. What's more, similar problems appear when I try to open a PDF file with the windows reader application. And of course I cannot uninstall and install the reader app, so what should I do? 3) The windows app market cannot do updates. 4) I have accidentally refreshed my laptop and then I tried to restore the system. The system has been restored to a point which is exactly before I did the refreshing. So almost all my programs have been recovered - except my AUTHENTIC MS Office (which was installed with a CD-ROM)!! That's insane. But I have left my whole MS Office pack in my homeland. What can I do with this?? Please give me your feedback asap. I just bought the laptop not even a month ago. It's silly that so many problems arise.
Have you looked under power options to see if it's configured to shut down when the button is pressed? You can assign different actions in this menu, it may have been accidentally changed somehow. Either that or a faulty power button?

If you're getting prompts that say something like this:
To view this web content, you need to install the Java Runtime Environment
then the Apple Java runtime is not installed. Some third-party web plugin is installed that depends on Apple Java.
You may have installed the Oracle Java runtime, which is different. Neither installing nor removing the Oracle Java will have any effect on the prompts. The only thing that will stop the prompts is either to install Apple Java, or to remove the web plugin that depends on it, as I wrote earlier. I don't know all the possible plugins that might be involved, but I mentioned a couple of common ones.
Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
I never install system modifications myself, and except as stated in this comment, I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.
Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickMyMac” (a hypothetical example.) First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickmymac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickMyMac.” If not, open “BrickMyMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button. The uninstaller might also be accessed by clicking the Customize button, if there is one.
Back up all data before making any changes.
You will generally have to restart the computer in order to complete an uninstallation. Until you do that, there may be no effect, or unpredictable effects.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase and install OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" such as "AppCleaner" and the like that purport to remove software. -

Hi I'm pretty knew to programming and I have an assignment which I've been working on but I am stuck
I have to create a 'space invaders' style game, and I've got some basics working. I wanted to add a boss enemy, which appears when all other enemies have been destroyed. It kind of works, only the program spawns a seemingly infinite amount of the boss which then creates a 'wipe' effect across the top of the screen.

I believe the part in bold is the problem, but I dont know why. Klingon and Romulan are subclasses of the Enemy class. The Borg class is it's own seperate class, but with the exact same functions as Enemy. I made it seperate as I figured it would keep respawning if it was a subclass of Enemy.
Any ideas?Its ok, after more than an hour I've got it.

I have just started using WD external hard drives, I use it to save my movies and music on. On more than one occasion, when I connect it to my MacBook it erases everything I had save on the hard drive. Can someone please help me with this problem? I am super tired of having to put all of my movies and music on the hard drive just to have it erased again. The products I am using are WD 4TB My Book and 2 TB My Passport external hard drives. When it happens, there is always an icon that reads, EFI, along with the My Book icon. Thank you for your assisstance.

Yes, you have WD software installed REMOVE IT !!
WD has warned its customers about their huge mistake that their software doesnt work on Mavericks and causes data loss.
(also dont use WD drives anymore)

From what I can gather, it sounds like you're having issues restoring your device. After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains helpful advice concerning recovery mode:
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Use recovery mode
You might need to use recovery mode to restore your device in these cases:
iTunes doesn't recognize your device or says it's in recovery mode.
You see the Apple logo onscreen for several minutes with no progress bar.
You see the Connect to iTunes screen.
Learn what to do if you see the progress bar onscreen for several minutes.
To put your device into recovery mode, follow these steps:
Turn off your device and leave it off.
Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes.
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
When you see this screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 again.
When your device is connected, iTunes will open. You'll see a message saying that iTunes has detected an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore your device. Restoring in recovery mode will erase your device. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you might be able to restore from your backup.

Learn what to do if you don't see your device in iTunes for OS X, or in iTunes for Windows.

Data Execution Prevention (DEP) issue....
Vista installed SP2 last night....Have DEP issue today. Latest Flash PLayer is the culprit. DIsabling it doesn't help, only uninstalling does. Tried unistalling then reinstalling...Same problem. Any insights?
