Hello i am having problem with facebook app
i am having problem with facebook app . the problem is that whenever i logout i still appear to be online .my friends tell me that i am always online but i hardly come on facebook for half an hour on my ipod touch .please tell how to solve this problem coz this can get misunderstanding between me and my friends that being offline they would still think that i am online and not replying them on purpose so please help...thank you..

Z10 user having problem with Facebook app.....
When I launch app, I reecieve "Facebook did not return any stories" - "Tab to retry"....When I check my news feeds on the facebook website there are news feeds. So it does not appear that APP is syncing with website. I have done the following already:
1. rebooted z10
2. updated bb 10 operating system (May 16, 2013)
3. updated fb app (May 17, 2013)
As a side note I also have a Q10 which is having the same issues.So FB decided to start working again - if you look on Crackberry loads of people having the same issues, looks to be something to do with the type of updates people make - eg, linking to videos. How hard can it be for BB to sort this out?? I've posted on here, to BB UK via Twitter and direct to the FB development email address ... pretty poor overall tbh.

Having problem with my app on the Iphone 4
i recently buy an iphone 4 but lately i been having problem with all app on the iphone i can't enter app store, facebook, tweeter etc and when i try to log off my account it actually don't let me log off i even do a recent to the iphone 4 and yet not letting me do a thing!

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons... -

You do not use a WEP password but wpa/wpa2 on router and equipment.
All equipment connects to WiFi, but for your iPad.
Even with all other equipment WiFi off, you cannot connect your iPad.
Your iPad connects to other WiFi nets correctly.
All resets etc done on iPad and Router.
Still I am not sure it is your router for sure, frustrating...
I want to test 2 other things:
1. in your iPad, set everything OFF in Settings/Cellular, turn off/then/on your WiFi, and see whether it will still not connect...
2. If that does not do it: disconnect the router as well as the modem from the power, for 15 seconds, then reconnect the modem, let it fully start, then reconnect the routet let it fully start, turn of your WiFi in iPad, then on, and see whether it will connect. -

Having problem with buying apps.... Get a error msg stating that I am logged in Egyptian store, and need to log in Emirates(UAE) store!!! But I am currently in UAE... This started after I upgraded to iOS 6

One needs to go to the apps store --> select featured apps --> go to bottom of the screen and select your apple id tab --> on the pop up screen select 'view apple id' --> go to region and change to appropriate region.... Cheers -

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again -

-Go to the facebook app on phone
-Go to Account Settings
-Go to Notifications
-Go to Mobile Push
-Look at the top of the screen and it said "Sound for push notifications"
-Edit it to ON for all notifications
They fixed it I now receive sounds for notifications!!!!!

Stated above, I have issues with Facebook and my iPad 2. I have updated the operating system, but the problem started before that. Can't click on like or enter comments. Problem started about a week ago. Sent email to Facebook and they responded that they don't answer individual emails but read them. Lots help that was.
Facebook is basically broken, at least as far as it pertains to mobile browsers. THey changed something in their coding and now mobile browsers don't work with facebook. ANd their app, well their app has been less than stellar for a long time.
Unfortunately, it's up to facebook to fix things, not apple. All you can do is find work arounds. Look for third party apps, I have one called Facely HD which seems to work reasonably well (even though it does seem to not see all posts). There may be others that work better. You can also simply not access facebook on your mobile until they fix it.
It's all on them and users can only be patient or find other ways to work around it. -
Anyone having problems with YouTube app/web?
on wifi I've tried to watch several different videos from the YouTube app and YouTube through safari... when connected through wifi the video loads 1-4 seconds of the video and stops. if I press play it'll play another couple seconds and stop again. I can load the same video via wifi on two different desktops (1 Mac, 1 win7), my MacBook... and that same video will load in it's entirety while I'm playing it through 3G... just wondering if anyone is having similar problems or issues with YouTube. any help/suggestions would help. I've already tried resetting my network connections on the iPad and that did not help. I've had no problem with my wifi connection browsing the web or even streaming music... problem only occurs with YouTube.
Exact same problem. Sorry I have no solution - also not sure where the needed fix will be, i.e., OS, or the apps (or worst case, the device itself) Many posts here and there on the boards and also articles in the press. some have suggested proximity to the router helps - am not at home, so I can't test that out. It doesn't help longterm but would be great to have some workaround for the near term, however limited.
There is another, even worse behavior where the device freezes when streaming video and requires a hard reset. Folks are doing returns for that one,usually tied to replicating the behavior at the store. A system restore does not help but some stores make you go through that step. However, this does not sound like your problem.
