Hello I am having problems installing Digital Publishing suite?

Can anyone help me?
Have installed the DPS App Builder, but am not being prompted to enter a serial number. Because of this I am not seeing the folio panel in Indesign.
All very confusing.....!?!?!?

It may be worth trying an older version.
There have been quite a few issues with ADE2.0; though I don't recognize your problem as one of them.
You can get 1.7.2 from the Adobe site. Much more reliable than V2.0 in many ways.
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

Problems installing digital publishing update for Indesign CS6

Hello,
I am having some problems installing update I need for Indesign CS6. I'm working on an interactive pdf and need to update my version of cs6 to use the digital publishing suite. Upon attempts to use the 'folio builder' I am asked to update and go to 'help' 'updates'. The Adobe Patch installer begins to load then immediately crashes. I have tried installing the publishing update from adobe licensing but the same problem happens when I attempt to install the file using the patch installer.
I'm using CS6 version 8.0, can anyone help?

JulianLister I would recommend reviewing your installation logs to determine the cause of your current difficulties. Problem downloading Digital Publishing Suite for CS5

When I download the file (AdobeDigitalPublishing-All.dmg) from the Adobe website I receive an error code when trying to open the file.
"Install" is damaged and can't be opened. You should eject the disk image. I've tried redownloading it several times but I continually receive the same error when trying to open the file. Does anyone know the problem? Mac OS X 10.8.2

Hello, everyone!
I bought the Digital Publishing Suite, Professional Edition Monthly, but I didn't receive a Serial Number.
Is this subscription different than getting a Single edition serial number for a publication? or should I be able to upload apps to the iTunes Store / Android Market? That's what I was told when I got it, but no one has been clear about it at customer support.
Does someone around here has this service? I really could use some orientation about it since I already got it.

Serial numbers are required only if you don't have a pro or enterprise subscription. When you sign into the Viewer Builder with the appropriate Adobe ID, you'll get more options, and you won't be prompted to enter a serial number.

Repair your Apple Sofyware update.
Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install

The only way this works, even theoretically (as we haven't tested it) is to first set the metadata for Minimum DPS Version and then open up every layout in play previously checked in to the earlier Sprint version and delete the DP Artboards, reset them and re-check in all layouts to update them with the new metadata. With an average issue size growing upwards of 300 dossiers, this becomes an untenable workflow imposition. When we first tried setting this metadata based on Dennis Van Nooij's instructions it did not work. We must plan such metadata strategies up to 3 months in advance of the issue as that's when the creatives begin working on it. To ask them to open up 500-700 layouts in the "transition" issues between Sprint updates and recheck them in is unreasonable considering our tight deadline cascade. We must retain compatibility with NIM and Google Play embedded readers and these are always lagging behind a Sprint version or two. We are releasing a new custom storefront soon which requires R26 but our folios must stay at R25 and we are not sure for how long we will need to retain this compatibility so the number of layouts that must be redundantly touched by Art/Edit operators under tight deadline turnarounds makes this whole strategy very difficult. Woodwing and Adobe need to understand more deeply the impact of their strategic decisions on the actual workflows of the art depts at the publishers on the front lines. I don't remember having been consulted on this before the installers were pulled out of circulation. There are still many dynamic factors that deeply influence our ability to maintain a healthy and fully operational Woodwing/Adobe eco-system; the only way we have been able to maintain consistency and navigate around the many bugs in the software is to nail down our environment so we can control how the pieces behave. Adobe has pulled this control out from under us.

Still having problems installing itunes8

Okay so im still having problems installing itunes 8. So i put the computer in safe mode and got it to run further, no my prolem is it says "the system adminstrator has set policies to prevent this installations", while in safe mode it doesn't tell me that exe is not a valid win32 applications, and also in safe mode it states the publisher is Apple Inc. if i try to download in regular mode the publisher says unknown.
Anybody have any ideas?

Try this.
- Right-click on the installation file: iTunesSetup.exe
- Select 'Run As'
- Select Option to Run as 'Following User' and select 'Administrator' + enter
admin password (hopefully you have it)

Is there a problem with updating Indesign v.9 Digital Publishing Suite InDesign CC

I've recently updated Indesign CC and I want to update my DPS tools. It's telling me an update is required through the help menu but it's greyed out suggesting it's already up to date.
I've re-installed CC but I get the same problem. I've also downloaded AdobeDigitalPublishingPatch-CC-27.0.0 but that won't install.
Can anyone help? I'm running a Mac on OS 10.8.3

In the Folio Builder panel I get the message:
DPS
A software update is required to use Digital Publishing Suite. Please go to the Help menu and select Updates to get the required software.
However when I go to the help menu (Help > updates) as requested, updates is greyed out.
I downloaded the AdobeDigitalPublishingPatch-CC-27.0.0 patch and tried to install and update as I used to in CS5.5 and 6 but this throws up an update failed dialogue box saying update supressed by administrator. I am an administrator for my machine so I'm not sure what and where the problem is.

Having problem to digitally sign onto IBM Lotus Forms Viewer3.5.1

We recentely installed Adobe Acrobet Pro X with AcrobatUpd1001_Tier1 updates.
After we did that I'm having problem to digital signature onto e-Forms.
We use IBM Lotus Forms Viewer3.5.1 for handling e-Forms.
When I trying to retreive certificates from my CAC card, the program looks like couldn't find certificates from my CAC card.
I didn't have any problem with Adobe Professional 9.4.2 to put digital signature with IBM Lotus Forms Viewer3.5.1.
We use Windows Vista Enterprise SP2 as basic OS.
The problem is disappeared when I uninstall Adobe Acrobet Pro X or didn't install AcrobatUpd1001_Tier1 updates.
So, it definitely related to AcrobatUpd1001_Tier1 updates.

I see that you have two opening <body> tags. Delete one; it is not needed. Add the preload images from the second into the first body tag and delete the second.
I see code below the closing </html> tag. Re position it before the closing </body> tag.
Because of these errors mentioned above, it was impossible to see the page. Fix and reply here when you have done so.
Also, it is not possible for me to divine what difficulty you are having. If you can please also express it in English (LOL), I'll be happy to suggest a correction for you!

I am trying to install using a snow leopard dvd for macbook pro but it comes up with an error message saying I can't install on this computer. I am pretty sure that my computer is late 2008 and has the spec. Is it because the dvd is for a macbook pro? If so where can I get one specifically for my computer?

The problem is right at the end of installation, it (the Install Shield Wizard) says status is registering and then immediately does an action rollback.
The message I get is:
'The wizard was interrupted before Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run the installation again.'
If anyone can offer some help, please, that would be great.

Perhaps Bob will see this thread, he is the professor in these cases.
You do not use a WEP password but wpa/wpa2 on router and equipment.
All equipment connects to WiFi, but for your iPad.
Even with all other equipment WiFi off, you cannot connect your iPad.
Your iPad connects to other WiFi nets correctly.
All resets etc done on iPad and Router.
Still I am not sure it is your router for sure, frustrating...
I want to test 2 other things:
1. in your iPad, set everything OFF in Settings/Cellular, turn off/then/on your WiFi, and see whether it will still not connect...
2. If that does not do it: disconnect the router as well as the modem from the power, for 15 seconds, then reconnect the modem, let it fully start, then reconnect the routet let it fully start, turn of your WiFi in iPad, then on, and see whether it will connect.
