Hello. I Cant find my apple tv on iMac 27

i have installed apple tv, but when i connetc itunes i cant find any apple tv, not in the menu or anywhere..
Can anyone help?

Have you set up homesharing on both the Apple TV and in iTunes, are you running any security software on your mac/PC, have you ensured any firewall is allowing access for iTunes.

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.

Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, see if iTunes will launch without the error now.
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

Yet another example of why it's a VERY BAD IDEA to do a clean install of Lion unless you are already VERY familiar with how to tweak the Mac OS. There's a reason Apple engineers removed it as an option. To accomplish it you have to erase your disk; not for the faint hearted.
Do you have a backup? PLEASE don't tell us you did this without a robust backup.
You erased the operating machine, so your computer went to the only place it could find one, the Recovery partition. And it's minimal, so it has to download everything in small chunks to reinstall itself. So yeah, it could take 10 hours.
Here's another option. Do you still have the original disks that came with your machine? Put one in and restart from it. You can reinstall your old system much faster. Then go to the Mac App Store and your purchase history and see if you can redownload Lion (I think that still works).
And this time just do yourself a favor and install per Apple's instructions. When the machine starts into Lion, use Setup ***'t (the first thing that fires up) to migrate from your backup.

That is in fact where the com.apple.logic10.plist resides.
There is a second method.
In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the menu.
Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field.
Press the Go button.
Remove the com.apple.logic10.plist file from the Preferences folder. Note that if you have programmed any custom key commands, this will reset them to the defaults. You may wish to export your custom key command as a preset before performing this step. See the Logic Pro User Manual for details on how to do this.
If you are having trouble with a control surface in Logic Pro.
then delete the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file from the preferences folder.

It means it is not connected to the internet (e.g battery dead) or it has been restored, or someone turnned off FIndMyiPhone. I would expect the battery to be dead by now.

In the absence of any replies, I'd forgotten that I'd posted here, but I did manage to sort out the problem eventually.
I forget all the steps involved, and possibly some which may be pertinent, but in essence somewhere in the iCloud signup procedure I'd clicked something that told Address Book to upload to the Cloud, and otherwise remain invisible on the Mac. Tinkering with the Address Book preference settings eventually restored the Contacts list to my iPhone.

The serial number is in Settings>About on the iPhone or on the back of the box it originally came with.
About the computer, you probably need to update the version of iTunes. What OS do you have on the computer? Is it a PC or a Mac?

Apple TV keeps telling me it cant find Apple ID and or Password.

Apple TV keeps saying it cant find my Apple ID and Password. It has always done this like every tenth movie we rent. To get around this I always had to just edit my account and save and then it would start working again. No I have no odea how to get around this. My Apple ID is correct and so is password. it just says it cant find ID or password. i have entered numerous time, rebooted, opened the account changed the password etc. Any help?

Airport utility cant find airport extreme 802.11

Bought a 802.11 today. Didnt come with a CD and so downloaded Aiport Utility 5.4.1 for windows. I am using the dang router right now since I am on the internet. Its amber light is flashing. The Airport Utility cant find any Apple wireless devices. Hmm. Help. Do I need to download something other than 5.4.1? When I put in 802.11 utility all I get back is a bunch of patches...Help.
