See my reply to a later simplified version of your question. I don't think that either iPhone or iPad recognize RAW files such as NEFs. And the iPhone is not designed to be a mass storage device like a portable flash or portabel hard drive for temporary storage of files, if that's what you're after. As I mentioned in my previous reply, I have an iPad and have been experimenting with it as a tool for photography, hoping that it would be a nice travel tool for backing up and viewing photos from my Nikon dslr. But both the iPad and iPhone just are not set up to do that well. Both show photos nicely, but organization of photos is very frustrating since you can't create albums on the iPhone or iPad, but only back on your sync computer. (There is one very powerful photo organization app called SortShots, but you import photos to it and it organizes and stores the images wtihin the app not using the native photo app. It doesn't work with NEFs either.) I don't know of any RAW processing software for either device.

You actually cannot do anything to your ipad when its locked but look at pictures the time and date, you need to restore it, and if it dosent let you restore, good luck chuck Heres how to restore it: Okay, i only know the itunes way soz, lol. Try to connect your ipad to itunes, if it does let you then you should be able to select the device you have in the corner somewhere, once you do that you should see a screen that looks sort of like your ipads setting, you should have a button that says "Restore" click that and your ipad should be restored. If that dosent work you should try going to your regular office depot or something. Good Luck!

Yeah, I know I can restore it, but I might as well go ahead and try. I just finished a backup for icloud and itunes to make sure, I'll go ahead and restore it and set it up as new and see how that works. Seems like I have no other options at this point, I'd still like to know what they did with the Download tab in itunes store, if they removed it or if I'm just overlooking it.

Hello, I have a question regarding the sharing on iMovie. I have just recently purchased an Elgato Gaming Capture HD and I then finished my recording with that and put it into imovie. I worked long and hard on the project and when I go click the share feature on iMovie all the noral options pop up and when I actually click where I want to share it to nothing at all happens. If you know what is wrong/ what I am doing wrong please let me know.

I saw one post where a user said dust got inside the small microphone hole. Using a vacuum cleaner removed the dust and restored the audio.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

My ArtZ II is on a Win2K supplemental computer. I think that the main reason that I keep it around is the 12 x 12 ArtZ II.
Next workstation will probably force that comupter into a closet and my beloved ArtZ II will probably go with it...
Even on my laptop out on the patio, if I have to do almost anything in PS, or Painter, I'll go grab my Intuos 2 and hook it up, even though it's a 9 x 12 and a bit big for the patio table (works fine on my various desktop situations though). I cannot be without my tablets, though I am not a fan of the Wacom mice that I have tried (2 still in the box). Best mouse is my Logitec cordless (hated its keyboard and got rid of it in a second), which has nice weight, the right feel for my hand and is just great. Still, I only use it for the duties that the Wacom is not the best at. If I open up PS, or Painter, the mouse sits idle.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Oh well that's what I heard because it's about the 90 days warranty ,,. Anyway can you please tell me what I can do to get it fixed ? It's a not really big crack in the right bottom side of the screen

I was advised to contact the forum mods and did so on the 4th January giving full details of my problem. I was led to believe that it could take three days or so for a response. I finally received an email 5 days later (on the 9th) saying:

No update. No assurance that ANYONE in BT was looking into this. Nada.
Are the forum mods superbusy? That I could understand but nobody has contacted me to let me know they'll get to me eventually. Have I been kicked into the long grass in the hope that I'll just shut-up? I had hopes for this forum to help or at least get in touch.

Hi Mark I'd definitely have a go at Michael's suggestion of resetting the Modem and Router.
Looking at your previous thread assuming things haven't changed the exchange equipment (DLM) has set your Download IP on the Max band (IP Profile for your line is -38710 Kbps)..... which is good.
In THIS POST dodgerm had the same download IP but was achieving a very slow download.
Thankfully a reset of his equipment recovered the situation.
Note turning off the Modem too often isn't recommend as that may cause the DLM to think your line has a problem and reduce the IP in an attempt to provide a slower but more reliable broadband.
Turning off for a test like this or a say when you go on holiday should be ok though.
Please let us know how it goes.... and if you need add the "After a Reset" results to this thread and include the URL on the BT Forum Mod contact form.

Photos that were synced from your computer using iTunes can only be deleted by de-selecting them from the folder from where they were synced - and then re-syncing.
Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
Uncheck all of the albums that you want to remove under the Sync Photos From heading
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
If you are using iTunes 11 and you can't see the sidebar go to View>Show Sidebar from the menu at the top.

Yes we did a back up, but it's a new computer and we can't find it anywhere on it. We had to "authorize" it through itunes, but still nothing. Thanks for the help
