There are any number of possibilies... you could have problems with runaway applications, causing your machine to overheat and setting the fans off, you could have bad fan sensors, etc.
Open Activity Monitor (Applications>Utilities) and see if you have any apps that may be hogging the CPU. Call back.

1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
    Press “Delete All” button under “Browsing Data and Settings”.
2. Install Adobe Flash Player.

When I click a link to open a new window, the new window appears in the bottom right corner and I have to drag it up every time to enlarge.

When my daughter went to login, the new window where she logs in was in the bottom right corner. I pulled it up to the display and it stayed there. When she tried to log in again later on in the day, the login window appeared in the bottom right corner of the screen again.

Open Firefox -> Help Menu -> select "Restart with Add-ons Disabled"
Firefox will close then it will open up with just basic Firefox. Now you can Enable the Add-ons and it should be ok. Check and tell if its working.

Some photos are displayed with a small box and arrow and some also with a J in the bottom right corner. I can't find what that means.

i tried to restore it multiple times some times it mentiones restore complete and asks me to wait until ipad shows up in itunes which never happens.

I have an Ipad2, I didnt have problems to connect wifi in general , except at one library where they asked me to accept terms and conditions and then re start the browser. I tried to close safari with the close gesture but didnt work, wouldnt connect.

I want to use my ipad in a public library.
How can I re start a browser session with safari? I need to do this to use wifi in the library. After accepting terms and conditions it ask me to restart all the browser sessions. But with Ipad it doesnt seem to close totally the application.

Try a force quit, I don't know if it closes the sessions but it's worth a try...
When in the app, press on the sleep/wake button until the shutdown screen appears, then press the home button until the app quits.

Have 17 in MB Pro 8GB, I7 processor. My 500 GB HDD is running out of space, want to replace it with a SSD 1 TB, Can I do it, and what drive should I use?

Yes. Any 2.5" notebook sized SSD can be used. If your Time Capsule has a full system backup, then you can restore from it. You could put your old HDD into an external enclosure and boot from it. Then clone the HDD to the newly install SSD after formatting it.

See if you can find a box there to check for placing the icon in the taskbar/system tray. Also see if there is a "Mute" and be sure it is unchecked. Look at your volume setting; usually a slider. Explore the tabs on that panel and look at the settings. Don't change settings if you are unsure.
