Hello i have an iphone 4 ios 6.0.1 and it doesn't vibrate.

i am experiencing the vibration would not work i tried everything, only works on trial when i smack it on my palm.. then it turns right off when the trial is done (ibrate) and if i run the app and tap the app it doesn't work till another slap on the palm.. i cant get to no apple store so im a bit stuck. wont vibrate when i get messages, or anything.

I have the same problem. After updating my iPhone 4S to ios 6.0.1 the vibration doesn't work anymore. Who can help ?

Assuming you are using the current version of iTunes (11,2,2), open iTunes, click "Preferences" under the leftmost entry on iTunes' menu, then choose "Devices".
Find the iPhone's backup there, highlight it, and choose "Delete Backup".

No I cant do that as soon as I disconnect the usb plug it goes blank and when I connect it to my pc it doesn't light up so I assume it wont take a charge from my pc. When its charging from the plug and lights up it wont let me do anything it just says connect to ITunes and configure in all languages so at least its teaching me new languages lol :-]

Apple usually doesn't participate here, we're just users. Have you done a search for an app for Weather Emergency Alert in the app store? It certainly doesn't come built-in in the iphone.

So, I have an iphone 5 with the latest firmware but I still can't connect to a wifi network here at home. It's protected with WPA2 personal and needs a password. I KNOW I type the password correctly but every time it says that it is wrong. I have googled for days and everything i try isn't working. Adding to the problems is that I can't backup the phone. It just says that an error occurred (no error code or anything). This is seriously annoying and I want help. Please, if someone knows what to do, tell me!

I have the exact same problem. It started as soon as I updated to 6.0.1. I could connect to any previous network that I had input the password in but now it won't connect to any new networks.
As I have reset the network settings per an Apple Rep, I have lost the ability to connect to any wifi network. Great. Can't back up, constantly using data.
Overall I think this is the first time that Apple has screwed up really big with iOS. So I'll be patient but they better hurry up!!

I have an iPhone 4 (IOS 4.3.1) and it was synced and backed up today.
I wanted to upgrade to the latest ios on iTunes (today's date is 3rd Jan 2013), it seemed to download ok (it took about 30 minutes or so), but when it tried to update onto the iPhone (I think this was what it was doing!) I got an error message that had code 3014 in it. Nowhere on Apple's website can I find a way to resolve this error code.
I then thought I would just try again from the beginning, but I then got an error message saying that if I continued I would lose all the contents on my iPhone so I cancelled it as I don't want to lose everything on my phone.
Can anyone help me as I am not very good at technical things and I really want to upgrade the ios on my iPhone without losing all the data I have on there already. An idiots guide would be great.

Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.

You don't get a choice. If you decide to update, your phone will be updated to the latest iOS version available for your phone. For you, that's iOS 7.0.4.

My iPhone 5 wouldn't start after I turned it off a few minutes after writing this. It went into recovery mode and I had no choice but to connect to iTunes on PC and restore.
I restored to factory setting first, just to validate my phone was okay. For a second consecutive iOS update, the iPhone 5 did not update smoothly while connected to PC and iTunes - I had to retry two times before the progress bar for the update showed. (The exact same problem with the restart occured when I updated to 7.0.4.)
The good news is that I was ultimately able to restore the iPhone 5 to factory settings while running iOS 7.0.6. I did have a backup from about a month ago lying around and was able to successfully restore with that as well, so the damage done is almost negligible since I had my contacts, notes, mail, etc. backed up to iCloud.
Once I completed both restores, the sync with iTunes worked fine.

What can I do? Get a new SIM and see if it works again?
Get a micro-SIM from the carrier in Mexico that you don't have to manually cut down. If that carrier doesn't provide one, switch to another carrier that is not so low-budget.

Hey, There are afew things you can try.
- Simply turn your phone off and back on again
- Hold down your home button and your lock button and let goes as soon as the screen goes black (Phone will power down) - Then turn on your phone and hey presto!
- Back up your iPhone to your PC, then restore it..
this ones last cause I think you may have tried it already..
- Close all open applications

On the iPad open Settings/iCloud and delete the account using the button at the bottom. Once deleted log in using the other account. For iTunes Stores use Settings/iTunes & Apps Stores, tapp on the Apple ID at the top then sign out. Once done sign in using the other account. Once you are happy with the changes plug your iPad into your computer to update the backup.

I just read another post that says you can go into a game that allows for multiple players and utalizes game center and enter your account information that way. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems to work for others that had this issue.
