I am buying an Iphone 4S in the U.S. from verizon. If i officially unlock the phone here, and if i have to move to a different country can i use the phone there since its unlocked? All i have to do is go to the countries local SIM provider and install it to the iPhone 4s? AHHH i can't figure this out!!!

Au contraire. The Verizon iPhone 4s can be unlocked and if you are a Verizon Wireless customer they will unlock it for you at no charge. There are some minor conditions (you have to be a customer in good standing, they will only unlock one iPhone per customer in any 10 month period, etc). Verizon has unlocked my iPhone 4s and I have used it with a foreign SIM outside the US. One of the interesting twists is that with a foreign SIM installed in an unlocked iPhone 4s you can actually be GSM roaming in the US, but of course it will be at international roaming rates because you would be roaming on a foreign SIM in the US.
Second, the Verizon iPhone 4s does in fact use a Verizon SIM card. You replace it with the foreign SIM; once you are back in the US, you put the Verizon SIM back in the iPhone 4s and you are back in business on the Verizon CDMA network.
Third, Verizon can also enable the Verizon SIM itself for international use. So, you can use your iPhone 4s in other countries on Verizon partner networks without having to fool with foreign SIM card providers (which, honestly, sometimes is a really frustrating experience). I have also done this with my iPhone 4s, so I have both options (Verizon SIM & foreign SIM) when I travel abroad. With the globally-enabled Verizon SIM, you retain your US phone number while abroad. Calls are expensive and data use is really really expensive this way ($1.29/minute + $20/MB .. yes, you read that correctly ... per MB). They do offer a 'value plan' for the period of time you are abroad at $4.99/month, which they will pro-rate based on the actual lenghth of your trip; it reduces rates to $0.99/min and $30/50MB. Still not cheap, but you can just do the calls part for $4.99 and then turn off cellular data in your iPhone 4s settings and just use WiFi for data.

It is possible to RE-do one but not UN-do unless you consider both to be the same. But you can not downgrade to an earlier version.

How to reset your Apple ID security questions.
Go to appleid.apple.com, click on the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'.
Log in with your Apple ID and password. (If you have forgotten your Apple ID password, go to iforgot.apple.com first to reset your password with a password recovery email)
Go to the Password & Security section on the left side, and click on the link underneath the security questions that says 'Forgot your answers? Send reset security info email to [email]'. This will generate an automated e-mail that will allow you to reset your security questions.
If that doesn't work, or there is no rescue email link available, then click on 'Temporary Support PIN' that is in the bottom left side, and generate a 4-digit PIN for the Apple Account Security Advisor you will be contacting later.
Next, go to https://getsupport.apple.com
(If you see a message that says 'There are no products registered to this Apple ID, simply click on 'See all products and services')
Choose 'More Products & Services', then 'Apple ID'.
A new page will open.

I got an error that we didn’t met before:
In the cluster configuration page---I input all the public, private, and VIP name for each node.
When go next, I saw error message is like:
The status returned by the node availability check for nodes (node2 name)-pr is CLUSTEREXCEPTION, the above node can be used as virtual host names and NOT as private nodes.
Any friends have any solution to solve this problem?

Hello iTunes people.
I have a little problem with my iTunes. I actually almost know nothing about iTunes really. But I have had a 80 gig ipod .. ummm I think it's a iPod classic maybe. A long time ago I just downloaded iTunes. I think one of my tech friends already had put the program onto my PC so I did not even have to download it. Anyways I put my life's collection of mp3's onto iTunes and then syncs it with my iPod and it worked great. Here is my problem. I just recently bought a MONSTER PC. I have lovingly named it " ED209 " I downloaded iTunes for it and I have the most up to date version.8.1.1 is the most current version correct? Ok well here is my problem. What I want to do is I want to put everything that is currently on my iPod ONTO the iTunes library. I DO NOT want to import anything from the library or playlist or whatever you call it ONTO the iPod because there is nothing in the library. Now this is were its gets weird and possibly silly. A person I was chatting with on Facebook sort of made fun of me because she was like " Dude! Just push " Sync " But the reason I am paranoid is because THIS is the message I get....
" The iPod " Aaron's iPod " is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this ipod and sync with this iTunes library? "
HOLY COW!! That girl on Facebook was making fun of me but READ THAT. That exactly says ERASE the "iPod" and Sync with THIS library " It does not say put what is ON the iPod into THIS Library. It says it the other way around. Clear as day it says it will ERASE the " Ipod " it does not say " Fill the library with whats on your iPod "
Do I all of a sudden not understand English or something???? I know how to freaking read and from what it says is sounds a 100 percent like " we will ERASE youe iPod and put everything from this playist or library onto your iPiod" But there is NOTHING in my library? Am I mentally challenged or what?

I am trying to read the help files and the FAQ and whatever else Apple provides you with but it has SO MUCH crap that looks usless. 1). Connect your iPod to your computer. When you get the message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod.
2). When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you continue to use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default: Managing content manually on iPod and iPhone
3). Once you are connected and your iPod is safely in manual mode there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from the iPod. iTunes will only let you copy your purchases directly from an iPod to the computer, you'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
For everything else (music from CDs, other downloads and including iTunes purchases) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:

4). Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync.
5). I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive

The iCloud and iTunes backup only includes those photos and videos in the iPod's Camera Roll album. It does not included photos and videos synced to the iPod from a computer.

I own an iPod classic and I also used to own an iLuv that was very similar in size to the iPod classic. I have lost it and only way for me to charge my iPod is on my laptop whereas in the past, my iLuv was more or less a mobile charging device. I am not having much luck finding anything and the ones I have found, look nothing like the iLuv I had before and am hesitent to purchase one of the iLuvs I am finding so far mainly because as I said earlier, looks nothing like the one I had before. Are these different looking iLuvs able to serve the same purpose? Am I even looking in the right area? Thanks.

Have an urgent question. I have finished editing a project that has been edited from pre-exported videos, but the problem is that i have been notified last minute if it is possible to change parts of it!
Is is possible to change and re-render the pre-exported clips at same length that are affected and then replace the 'source footage' in after effects to have it automatically swap the clips that I've edited and cut up already? As it would take a very messy and extremely long time to manually change all the trimmed parts!
It is only a small section of the source clip I need to change, but the overall composition edits are fine so I don't really need to touch that, it's just really to replace the footage but have everything to stay the exact same.
Please advise!

Yes, just right-click on a source in the Project bin and choose Replace Footage.

I have a mackbook pro and an iMac if I buy a time capsule 2tb airport, I can use it with time machine and what would be the best way to use it.
There is no particular setup required for TM.. both computers will create their own backup sparsebundle which is like a virtual disk.. Pondini explains the whole thing if you read the reference I gave you.
and how to use time capsule airport whit other external hd to use my old lacie airport with the new time capsule
Up to you.. you can plug the external drive into the TC and enjoy really slow file transfers or you can plug it into your computer and use it as external drive.. which is faster than the TC.. and TM can include it in the backup.
Again everything is explained in the reference.. you are not reading it.
