You do. Your system is either Windows or Mac (or maybe a couple of other less popular choices) and a version of one or the other.
When you set up your machine, you were asked for an administrator user name and password. You need both of these to install software.

Congratulations on your new computer! It sounds like you are trying to transfer your iTunes purchases from your iPod to iTunes on your computer, but you are repeatedly getting an authorization prompt.
Is it possible that some of these songs were purchased with an Apple ID you may have been using at another time? You mentioned that you don’t see these purchases under your past purchases in the iTunes Store. I recommend checking to see if they are hidden under your current Apple ID using the steps in the section titled “To unhide your purchases” in the following article:

If you are not seeing all the songs you expect to see after checking for hidden purchases, I recommend searching for an older Apple ID that you may have used. Use the steps in this article to find your Apple ID:

I got a song gifted to me by someone, but when I click on redeem song it asks for a download code, which I don't have?

So I got The Last Song I'll Write For You by David Cook, I got an email from Itunes that said someone sent me it.
I clicked on Redeem Now, since at the bottom of the email it said something like: If you click on Redeem Now, Itunes will open, you'll be asked to verify your account and then you can download the song.
But instead, Itunes opened and asked me for a download code or something, and I have no idea what I have to do?

The Email that is associated with Forum does not have any CC attached with it, please let us know if you have any other Email under which it has been registered.
CC mostly asks for serial number if:
1. There is no CC registered to the ID with which you had signed.
2. There are entries of Adobe in Host files of the computer.
3. The activation count has increased.

WiFi signals get stronger the closer the machine is to the router and the less interference/blocking of the signal like via walls with metal in them or of thick concrete.
Since the signal emanates outwards in a sphere, your supposed to place the wireless router in a central location in the building so it covers all areas.
The power of the router also has a affect, if your router is old or something not that powerful like a Airport Express, it doesn't have the ability to filter out other signals or enough punch to get through walls etc. or cover a large area as effectively.
If you buy/have a powerful router of newer make and have issues where there is metal in the walls or thick concrete, then you can buy something like OpenMesh and by using Ethernet cables from the back of the router, extend the WiFi signal into other rooms and areas past the blockage.

I hope you bought this from a store, you can return it and get your money back. BUT if you bought from a person off the street or off the net, someone you don't know... I'm thinking you just got screwed! And are out the money and have an expensive paper weight. I hope I'm wrong, but I think you have a stolen iPod. If you can find the person that sold it to you return it and get your money back, but I'm thinking they are long gone. If you can not find the person report it to the police and turn it over. It sounds like your vocal audio is not working with your headphones connected to your iPhone. I would start with the troubleshooting from the following article to help troubleshoot them named:

Update your software
Install the latest version of iOS. You can see which version is on your iPhone by going to the About screen.
If the device doesn't update successfully, the issue might be with your device and not the accessory. Learn how to check your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Disconnect and inspect the accessory, then restart your device
Disconnect the accessory and turn it off, if possible.
Inspect the connection between the accessory and device and make sure that no debris or other damage is present.
Restart your iOS device by turning it off, then back on. When the Home screen appears, reconnect the accessory.
Try a different device
Make sure the issue is with the accessory, if possible. Always use an identical or similar, compatible device with the accessory you're troubleshooting.

You're saying that when you click on the iCloud preference pane button it sends you to the defunct MMe
rather than giving you this?
Is your profile up to date, i.e. are your running 10.7.5? Make sure you click on the iCloud button and not the MMe button.

You should have signed in with that address in the first place, but there is a workaround: go to System preferences>Mail, Contacts@ Calendars and add your @me.com address as an account there.
