Hello, I have got a version of Photoshop elements 8 on my old PC.
I wish to upgrade it but on my new laptop. Is it possible ? And if so, how ? Thanks. H.
Best thing is to go to Amazon and buy the boxed version and install it on your new machine. Then you can export the catalogue and photos on to your new laptop/desktop by importing from the backups. When you have got the new version, you can always ask another question as to how to transfer the photos on to the new system.

I have the mac version of photoshop elements 10 which does not support exporting of photographs in the organizer. I use to be a Windows user of the program and like this feature. It is a major flaw in the mac version. Does anyone know if the corrected this flaw in version 11?
Yes it's now available. One day the Mac organizer may get sslideshows!

Installing a downloaded version of photoshop elements 8 for the mac
Can someone please help me. I downloaded version 8 of photoshop elements for the mac (a paid version and not the trial). When i click on the set-up icon and go through all the required information (i.e., serial number, etc.), the screen goes to checking the system and finally to "preparing to install". It sits there and does nothing. I have waited for hours but it just says "preapring to install". I have downloaded the app a couple of times. I rebooted a couple of times. I am running Snow Leopard 10.6.1 I also have the earlier version of Photoshop Elements, version 6. Can someone help please. I have holding now for 73 minutes on Adobe's support line.
Not to sound completely stupid but does this require me to download elements
again but under the new admin user?

Try creating a new admin user (system prefs>user accounts) and using that
for the install. -

I have just downloaded a trial version of Photoshop Elements onto my Mac Book Pro (10.9.4). The installation to my hard drive went fine so I attempted to use Elements on an existing Photoshop file. I did not see the Elements option in my filter menu and am uncertain as to how to "add" the Elemnts to my existing filter choices. Please advise.
I'm sorry but it's very hard to understand what you mean. What filter menu? In which program? Do you mean you're trying to use PSE as an external editor with some other asset management program? Which one?

I have bought a dvd of photoshop elements 12. I have installed it both as the licensed version and again as a trial version. I can open organiser but when I try to open editor it asks me to sign in. Ive tried it with my ID and also tried creating a new ID with another email address. However i cant get past this screen - it just freezes and wont load or do anything.

I have PSE13 on my system, Windows 8.1, 64-bit. It was functioning properly after installation and now I get these messages when I go to print: "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available. You need to check your printer settings before printing." and then this statement: "Default printer could not be opened." I have reloaded drivers for both printers and made any upgrades possible. It was working fine before and now all of a sudden, nothing. Would prefer to have old PSE v.12 back, it worked with no problems.

Do not know about 5, but, just installed PE 6 on I7 64 bit and it works.

i have a problem with installing PS13 as I get an error message "This installer does not support installation on a 64-Bit Windows operating system. Please download the 64-Bit version of Photoshop Elements." how do i do this
Try downloading the trial. It ought to detect that you have a 64-bit system.
You aren't using Vista, are you? PSE 13 requires at least win 7 and I think a few folks with vista have gotten a similar error message on trying to install it. -
We have several licences of Adobe Photoshop Elements V9 can we use the same licence key for latest version or what version can we install is this key???
We are Gouvernment and we use Windows 7 64 bits edition with office 2010.

After re-installing Win 7 64 on my computer, and attempting to install my copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements, I now get the following message: "This version of Photoshop Elements requires MS Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher to be installed". Does anyone have an idea of what the problem is? It has always worked in the past.
I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4). I have an older version of Photoshop...3.5. I bought a new computer and what I have will not load. I love this version. Can I get a new cd that will load into Windows 7? or do I have to buy a complete new program?
No CD, but you can download the installation files if you have the serial number, and the previous install has been deactivated

Hello I have encounted a problem with Photoshop. Normally when you start a new documant, you are given the options to have A4, A3, ect page set ups. These inbuilt page set ups seem to have disapeared, does anyone please know how to fix this? Many thanks Ben [email protected]

Thanks for your message. You can custom set pages but there are no preset of page sizes like A4, A3, ect. I cannot click the size preference, nothing comes up

Use CC 2014 menu Help>System Info... use its copy option and paste the info here. So we know your running CC 2014 not CC and that you have an enabled GPU....and latest device drivers.
