Did you purchase it at an Apple Store? If so, then you should be able ot have them look up the receipt in their system. If you purchased it at another store, check their policies. IIRC, Best Buy allows you to exchange items without a reciept, but they won't refund without one. Other stores may have other policies.

They will replace your "broken" iPad with an iPad of equal type .... so NO, they will not replace it with a new iPad 4th generation. They will actually replace your "broken" iPad with a refurb, not a new one.

Hi. Good day to everyone my New iPad with retina display 30 pin connector will not mirror to TV even with divi adapter after software update. Adapter works fine. Or is it a software glitch with IOS 7.04? I've tried resetting and reconnecting nothing seems to work.
That's one of the weird things.. it recognizes it maybe 10% of the time. And usually, only after I do the two-button reset. Problem is.. since it won't charge above 2%, anytime I try to do a restore or anything like that using iTunes, my device shuts off and I lose whatever progress I'd made.
So, an update... after reading through a bunch of similar complaints (there are literally 1000's of them so there's NO WAY this isn't somehow ios7 related, thanks a lot APPLE ) I decided to try a restore in recovery mode. After 3 hours and several disconnections... I ended up having to just set it up as a new iPad, as the restore did nothing. Weirdly though... as I was doing the restore in recovery mode.. I noticed I'd gotten up to a 10% charge.. higher than it's been since September, so after setting it up as a new device, I turned it off and plugged it in using the wall charger. 2 hours later and I was up to 38%. Still not great, as my iPad, before ios7 could've fully charged twice in the amount of time it took for me to now get 28% more of a charge. And that's with a fully cleaned out device.. so that really ***** and I'm now more confused than ever.
But I'm gonna leave it overnight charging and see what I come up with tomorrow. Sadly, when I paid $600 for it in February, I never expected to have to play "wait and see" with it... -
IPad Mini with Retina display with intermittent airplay connectivity
I have the new Ipad Mini with Retina display. My airplay on it worked flawless for the first two days and then there was an update for 7.0.4 and now it works intermittently. I have verified the wireless connection, updates and made sure that APTV2 is ON and connected to the same wireless. Is there something else I am missing ? I have also verified my router settings.

He wants to exchange my one-day old MacBook for a new MacBook that is exactly like mine, cept still in the box. Is this possible? Or would I just have to return mine and buy a new one?
In the United States, you can return your new computer (as long as it was not custom-configured at the factory) for a refund for any reason up to 14 calendar days from the purchase date. Apple will charge yo a 10% restocking fee for doing this. If your computer was purchased online and custom configured (added RAM, a larger hard drive or pre-installed software), then you cannot return it for a simple refund. I have a iPad with retina display with me. We require an exchange offer for the new iPad Air in india.
Sell your iPad retina and use that money to offset the cost of a new iPad air.
And if your iPad retina works fine for your uses now, why not just wait - odds are there will be an iPad Air II or something new within a year or less anyway - any consumer electronic device gets replaced with a newer model in very short order anyway. If you try to always have the very latest and greatest, you'll go broke (or nuts, or both). -

I am facing the same issue too. But how come you have 8.0.3 while the whole world is on 8.0.2 ?
I tried resetting my iPad, restoring it, hard reset through DFU mode but NONE worked. It seemed to be okay for few days but then it started getting the blue screen restarts again.
Monday is the day, hoping 8.1 will fix this issue. ELSE Apple should shut the f*** up and instead of releasing all new line of products and concentrate on the disastrous OS it is rolling out.

I have multiple devices (iMacs, Lap tops, Ipads) all connected to a Nas Drive. Can I create a user for myself and one for my wife and we each have our own apple ID's, Itunes etc, but share the same data on the hard drives? So when she logs in, and sync's her ipads, they will sync with her stuff and when I do the same under my user account, on the same device, my ipads will sync with my stuff?
You can share the same Apple ID for purchasng form the iTunes and app stores without any problems, but you should all used separate iCloud accounts with separate Apple IDs. (You are not required to use the same ID for iCloud and other services as you do for the iTunes store.) This will prevent you from ending up with merged data. You should also use separate Apple IDs for iMessage and FaceTime or you will end up getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls.

You would need to talk to the Apple Store from which you purchased the iPad. Apple's official return policy is 14 days, though it's been reported that the manager of some Apple Stores have been waiving that limit.
I doubt very much that the Apple Store will have anyone who speaks Chinese, though of course you can ask.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:
