Hello, I have recently purchased Apple TV, and sometimes it will play a song, and then when that song ends and switches to a new song it won't play, any ideas how to resolve this?
One song will play perfectly fine, but then when it switches songs it seems like it loads and then continues to load and won't play the next song! I turn home sharing on and off in itunes, and it will play a song and then the loading process repeats itself
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

I updated my itunes this morning, and now I keep getting an error message when trying to burn a disc. Any ideas how to resolve this?
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I am trying to install the OS Mavericks upgrade on my MAC and it requests for me to enter an administrator password. I do not use an an administrator password on the machine. Any ideas how to resolve this?
If you bought the machine new yourself, and did not enter a password when configuring it, leave the field blank.

My mail will not delete. When I move it to trash and then delete it, within a few minutes it has all bounced back in again. Checked my preference settings and all seems to be in order. Any ideas how to resolve this frustrating problem?
That sounds like a compatibility issue with an add-on that you have installed, as reported by a number of users in both Firefox 22 and Firefox 23 over the last couple of months. If you would provide a listing of your installed extensions ''(as you were prompted to do when creating this thread)'' maybe one of us can advise you which extension is the mot likely culprit. You will need to re-install Firefox 23 to do further diagnostic testing.
As far as the compatibility of Firefox 23 and Win XP SP3, Mozilla has verified they are compatible and not one user ''(including me on two separate PC's)'' has reported a problem with compatibility. -
I tried to install up date 3.6.13 and received error message that I didn't have the system permissions required to install it. I am the administrator on my Mac Book Air? Any ideas how to resolve this?

Sadly, the iPhone 3G can not be upgraded beyond iOS 4.2.1.

Hi. I was having this problem too but the sound works for me when I plug in the headphones. I guess it's more of a workaround but I'm happy with it. Hope this helps.

the sound do not come out the headphones sometimes altho its all the way up in the setting and when i remove the headphones the sound doesnt come from the internal speaker either and only a reboot fixes the problem and thats annoying! any idea how tto fix this?
Hello. I've been able to play sound without problems through headphones or external speakers to date - the output always switched to these automatically until today. Now, sound output continues through internal speakers even if I plug in headphones or external speakers.
- I tested the headphones and speakers on other devices: they work fine.
- When I plug in headphones or speakers into the audio output port (I have verified that I'm not using the input jack) the devices are not detected and are not listed under the output tab in system preferences-sound.
I concluded from this that I probably had a problem with the audio port, so to test that I tried the following. I plugged a powered multi-USB device with ports for microphone line-in and headphone line-out into the USB port and switched it on. I verified that it was working by plugging a USB stick into the multi-USB device - this was recognised successfully, so the device was clearly working. I then plugged in headphones and speakers into the audio line-out on the multi USB device - but still no sound came through them (and tey were not listed among output devices) and the Mac continued using internal speakers.
What should I do? Does the latter test suggest that the problem does not lie with the audio port, or is my test not conclusive? What would you advise?

People have posted a number of issues recently with HP printers and the TC.
Do the normal stuff.
1. Wireless name in the TC by default is not SMB compatible.. make it short no spaces pure alphanumeric.
2. Lock the channel.. the TC on auto can go crazy.. fix it to 1, 6, or 11 in turn.
3. Test without security.. if it will not join without security.. you can be pretty sure it never will join with.
4. If you get nowhere.. highly probable.. lock the wireless mode to a/n - b/g
This is reducing 2.4ghz to G compatibility. Much more likely to work than N.
If after all this you have started having ticks in your cheeks and approaching nevous breakdown levels.. give up.. the TC is not 100% compatible with the windows world.. and ALL HP belong to the windows world.
The solution is simple.. a cheap wireless router.. not apple.. your average garden day, netgear, dlink, even a belkin.. although that is the bottom of the barrel.. in wan bypass. ie fix the IP to same range as the TC.. turn off dhpc.. and plug LAN TC to LAN wireless router. Setup the wireless on this.. fixed channel.. G wireless will be fine.. suitable network name and security.. The HP printer will then be available to the network.. and you didn't even have to slit your wrists. -

I don't know why this error occurs, unless you have attempted to downgrade iTunes.
This method should get you up and running again.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!
