Hy,i just have some questions...First,i am in project for creating some website with streaming video.The connection to the host is bad and i need to know if Flash media server can reconnect if connection is lost during playback and second,is there some kind of plugin for subtitles,this is very important,If there is a positive answers on those two questions,the third would be "where can i buy it and how"?

First question: Yes very much. You can write simple logic for reconnection. Also there is new feature called Smart Reconnect which you can use for this purpose.

Second question: - I am not aware of such plug-in personally but there are high chances that it might be available. But i want to know first how you want to achieve it - are you sub titles not embedded in movie itself or is it separate from movie content and if yes in what format. Even if one is not available for ready to use - i think developing one should not be big deal - it can simple as overlay on your client side which gets populated with text at runtime.

I need some information about jre 1.5 and jre 1.6.
Suppose if i have jre 1.5 customized with "additional language support" installed in my my desktop, and later on i install jre 1.6. will this jre over write all the esisting settings which was present in jre 1.5?
In short will the version upgrades disable the features of the old Version even though the old version is present in the desktop?

I am working on a similar project.
Actually, i can encode 2 streams in h.264 with a resolution around 640X480 on a Intel Xeon E3120 (2 core) 3.16 GHZ configuration.
OS is a windows XP 32 bits. CPU usage is around 75%.
(note: FMLE instances are run with FMLEcmd not GUI mode)
Does someone know if i can gain performance with windows XP 64bits ?
My goal is to encode 4 streams on a single machine, does someone know if a dual CPU, let's say 2 X (4 core) Xeon, is enough ?
I don't know if FMLE support multiple processor with multiple core configuration.

you get an error because the work with the Quickviewer is a dialog- Prozess.
If you want a 'work around', set the parameter of the timeout dialog prozess higher.

Recovery Strategy - Need Some Information - Critical

1.We have a Production database which is running in ARCHIEVELOG mode.
2.This database is supported with FAILOVER Machenism.
3.The backup strategy is as follows
3.1 Sunday Level 0
3.2 Monday,
3.3 Tuesday Level 2
3.3 Wednesday Level 1
3.4 Thursday Level 2
3.5 Friday Level 1
3.6. Saturday Level 2
Now follows my question:
1. If I need to delete some of the old Archieve files, Can I delete them?
2. If I can delete them, up to which date can I delete them?
3. Consider on Sunday the date is 16, and my db is crashed on 20 i.e on Thursday and I have deleted the archieve files till 15 i.e. on Saturday. In this situation can I recover the database completely?
If you need any clarification, please revert.
This is very critical issue for me.

In fact you don't even need to restore the archived redo logs if you backup them!
For example in your backup scripts you can includeBACKUP ARCHIVE LOG ALL DELETE INPUT;This will include the in your backup sets, so they'll be targets for your backup retention policy.
Then, if it crashes on monday, you just RESTORE UNTIL "sunday";
RECOVER UNTIL "monday sometime";RMAN will find the necessary backupsets, including those for the archived redo logs and do it for you.
Or you can RESTORE ARCHIVE LOG also. Refer to RMAN guide for syntax.

[VIA] Just need some input on a problem I have

I need the experts on this forum to help me with a problem I have. The M/B (6590 KT4 Socket A) had a few problems a while see. Since that time I have not updated my PSU as advised so I expect some abuse for that .
Any way I managed in the to fix that problem as you can see. However a further problem occured which was that the PC ,at will , would restart - this ended being the reset switch which I disconnected and this has never happened since. Now I have another problem ! .
The PC will simply hang with no response at all. It seems only to happen when I am running the capture software. I have checked for updates and applied these to the program (hauppauges WnTV). This set up was running on another PC with a M/B (in my opinon) of inferior quality without a problem (I have since sold that PC).
I will admit I have not run the PC without this program running to see if that is the cause. However I just needed input on suggestions. My PSU is as I said earlier the same as before which is an X Pro 400w these are the shameful Voltage rails :
+5v = 35a
+12v = 20a
-5v = 0.5v
-12v = 0.8v
3.3v = 22a
5+VSB=3a
Also when the PC hung I got the following readings from PCAlert:
1.76 Vcore
3.3v = 3.26v
+5v= 4.97
+12v = 12.24
CPU temp = 44c
System temp = 38c
I must admit that the previous PC had a separate USB2 (which is how the Happauge unit connects) card whereas this PC I use the onboard card. I was also thinking about the RAM as it was one I bought from a computer fair (hears groans) - This is normally something I do not do.
Help input would be appreciated

I dont really have any other software than can do that. The USB device is powered by itself.

I believe you can set the Audio quality and the Frames Per Second (FPS) and I think that you can set the compression, If in doubt try it without compression and see if that works. LabView 5.0. The problem is that I don´t know to use this driver in LabView.

"call library function" with a DLL. But I need some help with the "code
interface node" because this VI don´t use a .c file. Shortly, I apreciate
some help with this VI or some idea for use the USB port in LabView. Thanks.
