Trying to get the top N records from a query.

Im trying to get the top N records of a random query. I've been looking for a decent solution for a while now and the 2 solutions I've come across are:
select *
from (select * from qrs_klantgroepen order by code) a
where rownum < 10
ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis
The query works when I remove the order clause from the subquery, but it's mandatory to get the results I need.
The next solution:
select *
from (select code, row_number() over (order by code) from qrs_klantgroepen) a
where rownum < 10
ORA-00923: FROM keyword not found where expected
Apparently the construct used here isn't supported by my oracle version.
I'm using oracle Oracle8 Enterprise Edition Release 8.0.5.2.1.
Is there another way I can achieve the results I want?

Apple does not have email support. If you're not getting the email verification from Apple, check your anti-spam filters, on your computer and with your email provider, to make sure that emails from Apple aren't being blocked. You can also try the Security Questions option rather than the email authentication. See:

If you are having issues receiving the verification SMS when setting up your iCloud Keychain, you may find the information and steps outlined in the following article helpful, in particular this portion:
If you didn't receive the verification code via SMS
Make sure that you have a strong cellular network connection on your phone.
Make sure that your phone number can get SMS messages. To check, ask someone to send you a text message.
Make sure that the correct phone number is associated with your account:
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, tap Settings > iCloud > Keychain > Advanced. (In iOS 7, tap Settings > iCloud > Account > Keychain.) Make sure the phone number under Verification Number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences. Click iCloud, then click Options next to Keychain. (In OS X Mavericks or earlier, click iCloud, then click Account Details.) Make sure the phone number under Verification number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.

Cosuming web service using consumer proxy - not getting the output

I am not getting the consumer proxy output structue filled though the web service is successfully executed. I did the following steps.
1. Created a webservice form RFC BAPISDORDER_GETDETAILEDLIST
2. Created a consumer proxy for the above created WSDL document.
3. Tested the service by executing the proxy directly by feeding the input in the XML (sales document and partner view). it is working fine
4. Created a program to access the consumer proxy by passing the input(same input as per XML). I am not getting the output in the proxy output structure ( but I can see the RFC is successfully executed and having the right values in the debugging mode).
Is this the issue is due to the date fields (XML cannot consider a blank date )?
Please note: the partner output table parameter in the bapi (output I am looking for ) is not having any date fields.
Please help me to sort out this issue.

From your description, I assume you used the SE37 transaction's menu option Utilities -> More Utilities -> Create Web Service -> From the Function Module, to expose the BAPI concerned as a Web Service.
If this is the case, then it is possible that you are falling foul of your SAP User ID not having the necessary Remote Function Call authorization to execute the BAPI.
A prerequisite for successfully calling an RFC-enabled Function Module (which is what a BAPI is) is that the User ID used to call the function module must have the required RFC authorization (Authorization Object S_RFC). For example, when calling function module BAPI_CUSTOMER_GET_ROOT, if the User ID lacks the requisite authorization in the target system, the following error message will be received by the Consuming application:
User <User ID> has no RFC authorization for function group V02HBAPI.
Notice, as you can see from the above message, RFC execution authorization is implemented at the Function Group level, not at the Function Module level. In othere words, granting a user the authorization to a function group (authorization object S_RFC) enables the user to execute all RFC-enabled function modules contained within that function group.
I am guessing the BAPI works for you in debug mode because you are not calling the BAPI remotely.

sorry for total newB question, but if I have a table that is the most detailed level of data, do I have to create a datawarehouse copy of this that summarises it, or can OBIEE do that for me???
I have read the documents / by example stuff but I am struggling with this most basic thing, even though the more complex areas seem easy.
So what I am asking is, if I have a table, say 'user_trans' - do I have to write something in OWB or similar to turn this into a number of heavily summarised tables, say - user_trans_by_state, user_trans_by_period OR is there a way with the tool itself that I can take the basic table, import into the physical layer in the inventory and get OBIEE to do these summarisations for me - by generating dimensions??
So to illlustrate, say user_trans has =>
amount, user name, period, state
Do I have to write something in a DW to generate
sum(amount), user name - for user_trans
sum(amount), state - for trans_by_state etc
Or is there a way in the repository to do this, if so can someone please talk me through it in basic terms???

And on basic principles you are looking at a 1 => Many join in a star structure, the 1 being the centre or base of your star.
In terms of the rest, install yourself a test area and work through the Oracle By Example stuff - if you do not get the concept maybe it will sink in with the practise....

In Jsp, if you want to upload file, you can't directly use "request.getParameter()".

When I File -> View -> Primary Layout : I am getting only these options of Search, Hide, Contents, Index, Glossary, Print being displayed on the screen, eventhough I have ticked for Hide/Show, Refresh, Back, Home (Home -> Advanced Properties -> Home : and declared the respective url as well) , Options courtesy View -> Pods -> Project Set-up -> Double Click on Windows -> Double Click on NewWindow.
Why am I not getting the buttons of Hide/Show, Refresh, Back, Home, Options when I File -> View -> Primary Layout ?

Hey Piyush Buddy, where were you since my morning !!! :-) :-) :-) Your simple question here made me realize where did I make the slip of my brain and now all the desired buttons are appearing on my screen.
I just made simple parameter changes called View -> Pods -> Single Source Layouts -> Right Click On Microsoft HTML Help -> Setted as Primary Layout (earlier my Primary Layout was setted up for Multiscreen HTML 5).

i can not get the wifi to sync to my ipad mini. i have reset the setting 4 times and nothing i have turn my wifi off and on and nothing. i keep getting asked to retype my password and when i pressed join after it isnt enabled to connect help ?? do i need to take this in store ?

I assume that you cannot connect to the internet because you don't sync to WiFi. Perform the following steps in the order listed and see if you can connect then.
Go to Settings>WiFi>Tap the blue arrow next to your network name>Tap Forget this network in the next screen.
Reset your router. Unplug it from power for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again.
Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
Reset your iPad. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Go to Settings>WiFi>Tap your network name, enter your password, tap Join.

There is no 'Advanced' option at icloud.com. Is this a question of changing the default email address? I quote:
