If you see the "connect to iTunes" screen on your iPhone, that means its in Recovery Mode and needs to be restored.

HT1349 My ipod touch 4th gen, will not let me access facebook or you tube it just takes ages to load then fails. I have reset the ipod but its still doing the same. Its only two months old, does anyone know how to fix it?

My sons ipod touch has stopped letting him access facebook or you tube. On entering the app or going in via safari it just states loading for ages then fails, I have reset it for him, but it hasn't helped. Is this a common problem? It is only 2 months old.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Got it replaced last week. Turns out the dock was defective.

This is how you Reset - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. I would start with
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
Before you reinstall the Apple software, also remove iCloud vi Control Panel Remove programs. The reinstall the Apple programs

You will need to contact the app developer if your having problems with a 3rd paty app. See if they have a support forum.

There are two ends to a wifi network. Try rebooting your router.

Not fishy at all!!!! You really think I would have taken any more of my time to post a bogus rant? We'll no, it is unfortunately all true. I want to hear from anyone who is experiencing such problems not anyone else that wants to put there two cents in. I really don't need anymore hate or negativity. Yes, I have had some unfortunate bad luck to have so many problems at the same time, but some of them are just things you cannot do on the new OS.

This is a common problem with iPhone 4s (and IOS 5) There isn't ' anything you can do about it, so you're best bet is to go down to the store and get an exchange. If you have an older iPhone (3gs/4) roll back your update from IOS 5 to IOS 4.
