I could really use some advice with a new project I am undertaking,
I am looking to design a step-by-step game where users will be required to click on my artwork at each stage to get the next one. I would like different animated consequences to occur according to which button option is chosen at each stage. Eventually I would like for it to be a website that anybody can enter. I was wondering which programme would be ideal to use, I have access to Adobe Flash, Fireworks and Dreamweaver, but currently I only have a very basic grasp of them. This would be a long-term project I will be working on, so I am prepared to learn the appropriate programme, but if you could help me with which one that would be and any tips, I would be really grateful.

Here I mentioned that you should use a graphics editor such as "Firefox" when I meant to say Fireworks. Fireworks is NOT an interactivity program even though it might be able to do simple rollover buttons. Please use Flash for that. It will provide greater control for you as you will begin to see once you invest in a Flash book. And in Flash a game is not really simple if it is interactive. The part that makes it interactive is ActionScript and that is where you should focus your energies. There are even books dedicated to teaching game programming in Flash.

I'd like to hire someone to create a simple interactive game in director or flash

I can do some simple things with lingo and actionscript, but I have been given the task to create an interactive game that will be interfaced through a touchscreen. This is beyond my scope and would like some advice on where to turn for help. I have (briefly) explored some of the sites that advertise this type of service and so far they expect a huge budget and very long development timeframe.
I really am looking for some basic stuff, a timer, a kept (high) score, random placement of (objects), an interface to scroll left and right allowing a larger game area than the 1280x1024 the touchscreen allows, collecting semi-hidden objects, jigsaw-type assembly of objects on another background scene using only the "found" pieces, etc.
I supply all graphic elements, and only need the programming - in such a way that I can change the graphics if necessary.
I do have a budget, and could use some advice on who may be available at a reasonable cost to my client.

I've done this many times for a variety of clients, and specifically for touch-screen kiosks. The basic difference with the touch-screen is to go in mouse
-show vs. mouse-hide mode, and to keep the buttons and controls big enough for fingers.I also use a hidden menu (or control panel) button in my kiosk applications, so the user can change settings easily without having to use a mouse/keyboard.
I generally do the game development in Flash, but I use Director as a shell (import the Flash files into Director) for the purpose of checking system requirements (RAM, video codecs, etc) and other system controls, which of course can't be done in Flash. Director also has more capabilities in terms of deploying the application. I can send you some sample games I've developed over the years.
I may be able to assist you on a temporary contact basis, although we'd have to discuss scope to determine if your needs are a match for my capabilites and schedule. Let me know how to contact you offline.

In R12.1.2: when using the AR_INVOICE_API_PUB it seems to be impossible to create a on-account Credit Memo with invoicing and accounting rules. The next errors are returned by the API:
- AR_INAPI_INV_RULE_NOT_REQUIRED
Do not include an invoicing rule if the transaction type's class is Debit Memo or Credit Memo.
- AR_INAPI_RULE_NOT_ALLOWED
Do not enter an invoicing or accounting rule for on-account credit memos
Please advice how to create on-account Credit Memo with invoicing and accounting rules using an API.

Tou can use Table inside table to show the details this way but I'm not sure about Expand/Collapse.
Expand/Collapse are part of HGRID.
I think we can develop this functionality with little manipulation.

We developed a .NET application that allows a user to create Webi documents if they have access rights. This worked in Business Objects XI R2 and we're upgrading to BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1. Our VB.NET code is as follows:

What is the best method for creating a simple DVD from X?

Now that I no longer have DVD SP on my system, I need to know the preferred method of creating a simple menu driven DVD. The DVD needs to have a simple (one click) since the local cable company needs that so it will trigger at a specified time. I shoot in 720p 60. The DVD is SD. I do have Toast, Compressor, and iDVD on the computer. Any input will really be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Guidance for creating a simple 2D GUI for game.

Me and a couple of friends are developing a Risk-like game (the board game) with java. We have all the logistics done and we are only missing the GUI. We are comfortable with building normal GUIs based on buttons, menu, input fields, labels, etc. But for this we want to develop something similar to the actual board game. So it would be like a map, divided in countries, etc. How can this be done? Any guidance, tutorials? (If you don't understand what i am saying just imagine you are creating a map of the world on java, with each country having an action listener so that an action can be activated when it is clicked)

Well it sounds like you want 2D, so check out the Java2D API and Swing of course. I'm not really sure what kind of advice you want. You might want to use VolitileImage (hardware acceleration). Implement double buffering. Offer a zoom feature, overlays if you can, etc. Sorry, not sure what else to recommend. Post specific questions for more specific recommendations.
It would be nice if you did this in Java3D so you can rotate the board around and stuff, maybe camera animate down to the game pieces.

User rights for creating a notification

Some of our users do not have the right to create personal notifications.
The specific user is in an user role "Incident Resolver", and as I read it on TechNet (Link), users in this role should have the right to make personal notifications.
Any hints would be appreciate.

Managementpack: tried both: custom and Service Manger Incident Management Configuration Library
Group: no selection
Criteria: tried both: empty & assigned to.username equals username
E-Mail template: custom
Error message on “create”: The user SCSMTest does not have sufficient permission to perform the operation.
Giving the user admin rights => create runs. So it is on the security Settings.

BAPI for Creating a PM order(iw34) with reference to a Notification

Could anyone help to find the BAPI for creating a PM order with reference to a notification Number.
I will explain my requirement :
I want to create a notification from an external Application where i got the BAPI BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE and keeping this created notification number as Referece or for this notification number i need a create a PM order.Usually this process in done transaction IW34 in R/3.
But with the BAPI BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN i can create a PM order but this BAPI doesn't have a input parameter "Notification number ".So i can't use this BAPI.
Could any suggest for a BAPI where i can create a PM order with reference to a Notification Number.
